The room used was clean and tidy with a large bathroom with the shower over the bath. Room amenities were basic with the in-built heating system requiring a boost from the supplied portable tower heater during my winter stay. Entering the hotel for the first time I particularly noticed you had to negotiate, with your bags, two sets of doors and steps to reach the reception desk. One could imagine some frail or elderly finding the access a challenge.
House staff were friendly and available and promptly attended to the malfunctioning fridge in my room. Paid parking is immediately next to the hotel but uncovered. While it is not difficult to get to the establishment it has few facilities and restaurants in close proximity and people with mobility issues could have difficulties if wanting to walk to such establishments. If mobile, getting to eateries and other establishments could be a pleasant walk if time is on your side.

Also called QT Hotel, because of its name, the museum hotel uses a lot of modern art works in its decoration, especially in the public areas, which is unique and full of artistic atmosphere. The hotel bar and restaurant are OK, and the front desk is open 24 hours. Since it is a serviced apartment hotel, there are kitchen equipment in the room, as well as washing and drying machines. There is a large supermarket ”New World” outside the hotel, which makes it very convenient to buy vegetables and cook by yourself. Everything is good. It is located in the bay, only 500 to 800 meters away from the city center. There are many restaurants on the pier, as well as a food city. One of the seafood restaurants with Antarctic crabs as a gimmick is good.

”I recently stayed atatura Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating, always willing to help with any requests. The room was clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the city. The hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to restaurants and shops nearby. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast served at the hotel's restaurant. Overall, I had a great stay at atura Hotel and would definitely recommend it to others looking for a pleasant and hassle-free accommodation.”
It's a nice place to spend a night. A drink in the bar before dinner helps. I don't know much about the food as I had a pizza only. An average meal. Oh, the conference facilities are good.

In the heart of the downtown city close to the action if you like to go out in the evening. We missed the airco as it was warm on our room. We had nice view on the church next to the hotel

Had a great visit to Wellington. Enjoyed the hotel and the service was excellent. As with most Hotels we have stayed at recently they are a bit dated. Room was very clean, room service was good and the bathroom was excellent and looked to have been renovated in recent years. All in all very happy with our stay.

GGuest UserWe stayed at Ramada Wellington and appreciated the friendly and helpful staff throughout our visit. The room was comfortable, and housekeeping is done every three days, with towels available on request if needed earlier.
There were a few hiccups—utensils could’ve been cleaner, and the aircon/heat pump wasn’t working when we checked in on a Sunday. It took a couple of days to get fixed, but the team did provide a fan and portable heater in the meantime.
Overall, a decent spot for short stays with a central location and warm hospitality.

GGuest UserThe location is great, less than a 15-minute walk from the train station. If you're coming from the airport, take the Airport Express. After getting off, walk a short distance, then turn into an alleyway by a bronze statue of a dog walker. Head up a few stairs, go through a sliding door on your right, and take the elevator up to the 7th floor for the lobby. A word of caution: definitely avoid trying to enter through the parking lot stairs; it's a very long and confusing detour. Rooms are compact but well-heated. Each room comes with a microwave, dishes, and an electric fan. A $50 deposit is required. Good value for money, definitely recommended!

YYaatoh;)I wanted to stay somewhere close to public transport. The main train station is just a stone’s throw away. It is near the end of Lambton Quay- the main drag in Wellington. Also for my friends who live in the outer suburbs of Wellington this hotel is close to the freeway and an easy access to collect me.
The room is really clean and spacious and there is a kitchenette with stove and microwave to heat up/cook food.
The bathroom is huge and has an accessible shower which is quite impressive.

Great
BBinjuan Song (Bella)Overall is great, but still feel the whole hotel a little old, and one point: we asked the receptionist for shaver and toothbrush, he said all in the room, but actually there’s nothing. We need to phone service team for several times ( we only asked one thing first cause we believed there are everything except that one, then we found others were not there……), really inconvenient.
The food is great, and the guy there is very friendly!

Great
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is very good, in the city center, next to the Parliament Building, not far from the ferry, the room is spacious and clean, with kitchen facilities similar to an apartment, very suitable for family travel. The breakfast has fewer types than Hilton, but the quality is okay, 35nzd is half price for a child (my family is 3 and a half years old), and the hotel helps with parking for 40nzd, which is still very convenient. After all, the hotels in Wellington are basically not easy to park, after all, the city center is very expensive.
The view from the room is good, there is a green area outside the window, which is the local cemetery (the locals don't mind these, it's very similar to Japan), and I personally don't think it matters, after all, the environment is very good.
