Breakfast is at Tully's next door with 3 options to choose from. There is a car park behind the hotel but rates are expensive but comparable to the carparks in the area. Hotel rate is capped at 1500yen for parking from 2pm to 12am.

Superb hotel with direct access from JR station, and 1min walk to the tram stop and sightseeing bus stop. Staff was polite and patiently assisted and provided map on information we needed. Lovely bath salts for our use. Self service luggage deposit allowed us to continue exploring the city after checkup. Recommended stay at Kagoshima.

The staff members were very hospitable. Check in was fast and Jeffrey gave us detailed explanation of the facilities of the hotel. He also greeted us every time he met us in the lobby. While the renovation in the room is old fashioned, it is kept clean. We were very lucky that we had good view of Sakurajima during our two days stay. Breakfast in the lobby cafe and dinner in the Japanese restaurant were good.

We loved the view from the room, Sakura Island was just in front of us and we could actually see smoke coming out of its crater which was pretty awesome. The pools were also nice and the traditional restaurant near the lobby had some great Japanese food. The service was excellent, too. The only downside was that the bus stop is a bit far and walking to it in the middle of summer isn’t pleasant. But a taxi to the main train station costs around ¥1,800 which isn’t bad.

The hotel' s room is bigger than my expectation. As all of us know the size of the hotel room in Japan are not large. Self service for all amenities based on own needed usage. Opposite is a supermarket which operation business until late night.

The rooms are on the 12th floor or higher, so it's quiet and you can't hear the sounds of people walking on the street or cars. I slept well. There was a refrigerator, hair dryer, and kettle in the room. The room is not that spacious because it's cheap, but you can open your suitcase, so it's not a problem if you're just going to sleep.

A very good memories staying in Richmond hotel Kinseicho, the staffs are very friendly, and it is convenient that there are laundry serivce(washing machine at the hotel) and free ice cube to take at 9th floor. The room was big though for one person staying. The environment was clean and quiet, I hope next time can bring my family here to stay. For the location, temonkan is nearby and easy to walk around Kagoshima city, I walked from hotel to Kagoshima Chuo Station, very convenient

Her detailed explanations and warm smile set a positive tone even before I checked in. The hotel's hot spring overlooks Sakurajima volcano, enjoy hot spring while watching the sunrise was a truly delightful experience. I will definitely come back again next time.

Hotel Kyocera is probably one of the largest hotel in Kirishima. It has two buildings ( main and annex) and looks quite good architecturally. They are connected by a bridge on the 3 floor which has the walking escalator- and a display of the various places that have been listed as world heritage sites in Japan. Inside the main building, there is a glass church which is ideal for weddings. In the basement, there is a large onsen, and spa. It is certainly a good place for having a holiday. The overall condition of the rooms are good- and the rooms are of good size. My room faces the East and has a perfect view of sunrise! My sincerest gratitude to the professional service and helpfulness of the front desk staff in particular the Div. Manager, Mr. Atsuyoshi Kubota, who patiently search for available medical service during late hours for treating my wife's injury and also voluntarily arrange a staff to accompany us to the hospital. Ram Kumar, the accompanying staff, is instrumemental in our communication to the medical personnels and he is so kind to arrange late dinner for us at the hotel's discretion. They not only demonstrate the highest level of professionalism but also their genuine care of the well being of the customers. Love the private outdoor bath on the balcony! The food was good. We had both Western and Japanese dinners, but I'd go for the Japanese set if we only had one day. Breakfast was plentiful. Parking was easy. The room looked a little aged, but it was clean and well maintained.

Check in and encounter seismic intensity 5 immediately The room was on the 10th floor, so the actual shaking seems to have been more than that, but fortunately the building was solid, so I was able to spend it with peace of mind after that.

Typical Japanese-style room, beautiful view outside the window. The camellia in the hotel is in full bloom. Akamatsuyu is great. I saw it twice during my stay at the hotel. It was a pleasant surprise. It was snowing, and it was wonderful to soak in the hot spring in the snow. The meal was also good. The dinners were different for two nights, which was considered for the guests. The hotel has its own hiking root, and you can see the waterfall when you walk over. The overall feeling is great.

I finally got to try out the hot spring hotel of the Hoshino Resorts Group. The room is huge and has a 180-degree view. It’s really touching🥹 A very special experience, taking the monorail to the hot spring hut is very interesting and feels like one with nature!

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in is an old hot spring hotel. It is said to have been passed down from generation to generation. The Japanese-style garden design is very beautiful. The Japanese-style room we booked was very spacious and included breakfast and dinner. The hotel has its own farm and ingredients. They are all sourced from their own farms, and Wagyu beef can be delivered all over Japan. The breakfast is very exquisite, and for dinner you can enjoy Kaiseki dishes such as Wagyu beef and lobster. The dining service in the room is very good, and you can also choose to eat in the restaurant. The hotel service is very good, providing daily pick-up and drop-off services to the airport, Hayato Station, and Kokubu Station. The hotel staff will proactively ask if you need to make a reservation for pick-up every day, and provide one-on-one pick-up with high-end vehicles. There is free freshly ground coffee in the lobby and free minibars in the rooms. There is a private bath in the room, which can be used indoors or outdoors. The stay was average. Ample car park space. If there isn't, just ask front desk and they will direct you to park at adjacent site, which we did. Hotel did request we surrender car key to them, probably to move car in event of need. We chose not to. The breakfast spread was great, a typical Japanese full breakfast. Was pleasantly surprised by the generous servings and beverages. Room has musky smell so we had to use personal air freshener to at least sterilise the air in room. Else, all average. Thank you.

The environment is good. Maybe it’s because of winter, but there’s no loud noise. It’s quite peaceful. In order to not have to look for food around, I decisively decided to stay there and have two meals. Dinner was Kaiseki cuisine. I always thought I had a big appetite. Good guy. I'm so full of this meal! Although the portions are small, they add up to a small amount 😂😂. The breakfast is also good and beautiful, but the soup is not good, it is too salty. You can have a cup of coffee after eating☕️. The single hot spring room can be used by families or couples alone. There is a shopping street next to it, so those who want to buy things can have multiple choices.

If you don't mind, you can drive to the traditional hot spring bathhouse nearby for only 150 yen.

Really couldn't be better. We booked a sea view room for 3 people with meals. When we went there, the boss saw that we were two adults and one child, and immediately thought of a way to refund the extra fee (1,500 yen for children). The typical Japanese hot spring hotel is very Japanese style. His house is just opposite the sand hall. It is very convenient to eat. The hotel has its own hot spring soup, one indoor, one outdoor, separate for men and women. The next morning we had to take the 8:08 train to leave. The station that the boss personally took us to was really warm and recommended. I personally think it is much better than Baishui Pavilion.
