The Dunhuang Hotel lives up to its reputation! It's located right next to the Shazhou Night Market and offers a wealth of dining options. The hotel's facilities are first-class, elegant, and beautifully appointed. I originally booked a king-size bed room without a window, but the hotel proactively upgraded me to one with a window, which was very thoughtful. The room was comfortable and cozy, and the front desk and housekeeping were attentive and helpful. I stayed four nights, and while the room was quite expensive, it was a great value! The only downside was the breakfast. While the breakfast setting was pleasant, the service was friendly, and the food looked plentiful, it was almost identical every day and not particularly tasty. The hot dishes tasted like leftovers. The cantaloupe wasn't sweet at all, and there were several canned fruits on display. It's harvest season, so why not have more fresh fruit?

Staying at the Fanli’er Hotel (Lanzhou Old Street West Station Branch) during my trip to Lanzhou was an absolute gem! It's located right within the Lanzhou Old Street scenic area, so as soon as you step out, you're immersed in a cluster of ancient-style buildings, immediately feeling the historical charm. The hotel boasts a New Chinese style, with beautiful ancient elements in the lobby and a very stylish lighting installation in the elevator area, exuding an artistic vibe throughout. The bedding in the rooms is incredibly comfortable, soft and fluffy. In the dry northwest region, having air conditioning and latex pillows is a thoughtful touch. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and amenities like a smart toilet and electric curtains are all available. The staff are warm and attentive, helping plan sightseeing routes. The hotel's beef noodles for breakfast have a delicious broth and springy noodles, with a rich variety of side dishes and fruits. 📍 The location is absolutely superb, right within the Lanzhou Old Street scenic area. Stepping out of the hotel, you're immediately greeted by the ancient-style buildings, feeling as if you've traveled back in time. It's breathtakingly beautiful when lit up at night; every casual photo turns out stunning. Plus, it’s super close to the subway station. A few stops will take you to Zhongshan Bridge to see the Yellow River, and to Baita Mountain Park for panoramic city views. Getting anywhere is convenient. Oh, and it's not far from the airport shuttle stop, so lugging luggage after landing isn't a chore. Its unique style is evident from the moment you enter the lobby, where a strong sense of art immediately greets you. The camel bell-shaped lighting installation in the elevator area is incredibly creative, with exquisite taste evident in every detail. 🍎 The stay experience was fantastic. I stayed in a viewing room overlooking the entire Old Street. Sitting by the bay window in the evening, watching the lights of the Old Street gradually illuminate, was incredibly relaxing, and it made for great photos (remember to use night mode). The bedding is custom-made by Airland, soft and comfortable. In the dry northwest, the room thoughtfully provides a humidifier and latex pillows – I absolutely loved it, had a great night's sleep, and woke up refreshed and ready to explore. There are countless delicious food options nearby. The hotel's back door leads directly to the Old Street night market, where local specialties like milk egg醪糟 (láozāo),灰豆子 (huīdòuzi), and甜胚子 (tiánpēizi) are all available.

There was a small problem during the booking process. Fortunately, I communicated with Trip.com and the hotel side very happily. The way to solve the problem was very refreshing, so that the experience of staying in was full! Check-in at the front desk was very fast, answering questions was very enthusiastic, praise +1! The parking lot is a bit small, but fortunately the security guard is very responsible, the command is very patient in and out of the parking lot, praise +1! The rooms are clean and the facilities are newer. It is the standard that four stars should have, praise +1! Overall, this stay is worth a five-star praise!

I stayed in Qilihe District for a temporary meeting and booked this five-story hotel by chance. After staying there for three days, I unexpectedly discovered that this hotel without a gorgeous lobby actually interpreted the word ”comfortable” so solidly. As a frequent business traveler, I would like to share some real experiences for reference. **Perfect space planning** Although the five-story main building of the hotel is not magnificent, the king-size bed room on the fourth floor is about 40 square meters. The floor-to-ceiling windows are equipped with double-layer soundproof glass. The green shade of the old sycamore outside the window just filters the street noise. I especially like the three-separation design of the bathroom - the shower area is separated to avoid water vapor, and the invisible clothesline on the side of the washbasin is particularly friendly to business travelers. The bedside control panel combines lights, curtains and air conditioning, and the actual response is sensitive and has no delay. **Humanized flexible breakfast time** The breakfast room is located on the side of the courtyard on the first floor. The meal time from 7:00 to 9:30 takes into account both morning runners and those who catch up on sleep. There are take-away paper cups next to the freshly ground coffee machine, which is suitable for guests who need to go out in a hurry. In addition to regular Chinese and Western meals, the hot food area rotates two freshly made local snacks every day (the beef noodles I tasted on Wednesday were particularly authentic). The waiter will take the initiative to pull chairs for guests with full plates, and the food traceability notice board hanging above the dining table is a plus. **Service granularity is worth savoring** When I returned to the room the next afternoon, the trash can in the room was replaced with a new trash bag, and the half bottle of mineral water I didn't finish was still in place - this thorough and restrained cleaning sense is very comfortable. **Differentiation value behind the price difference** Observing the room types of different prices, it was found that the basic room of 400 yuan is equipped with a smart toilet and capsule coffee machine, while the suite of 1,500 yuan is equipped with a mini conference room and air purification system. This pricing strategy that does not force consumption upgrades allows guests with limited budgets to get a complete basic experience. When checking out, I tried their fast track, and it took no more than two minutes from handing back the room card to getting the electronic invoice. 🌹 When I left the hotel, I saw a sentence on the green wall at the front desk: ”Let your stay become a slice of life”, and suddenly I understood their intention to make the toothbrush set into a drawer for storage. There is no butler-style service, but every link is like an automatic sensor light - it lights up naturally when needed. This kind of pressure-free comfort may be the gentleness that modern travelers need.

We stayed 2 nights. The hotel is very nice, clean, and centrally located. The staff was very friendly and helped us with all our requests. In particular the girl with the black glasses at the reception, whose name we don't remember, was wonderful. We like to say Thank you Again We highly recommend this hotel if you are in Dunhuang.

Very pleasant hotel for a longer stay. Our studio suite was spacious, well equipped, had a stunning view (floor 42), and was very clean. Pool and gym were excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Not all staff speaks english, but with the help of translation apps, communication was no problem. Breakfast was versatile with Chinese as well as international dishes, well prepared and for a very reasonable prize. Buffet and a la carte dining was enjoyable as well. Unfortunately, in the lounge wine was offered only by bottle not by glas. The hotel is situated in the University area, with a nice park close-by and a subway station in walking distance.

The Hyatt is the best Hotel in LanZhou. Not only because of zero distance to the yellow river, but guest services.  Because the guest room was not available, and we needed to visit provincial museums first, I’ve got guidance for luggage storage, provided local cuisine, tourist places, and reserved us a higher floor Guest room. Then we enjoyed our provincial museum, delicious local food, then we enjoyed the gorgeous view of lunch and the yellow river from the guestroom. I would definitely choose Hyatt again. And I appreciate Rita who provided very warm professional help for us! By the way, the breakfasts are very enjoyable with local special offers.

Picking this hotel is the right decision. The overall stay experience is very satisfactory! It is extremely suitable for my needs. 1. The hotel is conveniently located, only 15-20 minutes drive from the airport, which is a blessing for passengers on early and late flights, without worrying about the traffic problem of catching the plane; 2. The service at the front desk is considerate and warm, Miaomiao is warm and thoughtful and takes the initiative to greet, and the communication is pleasant😃 3. The room is large and clean, and it is very comfortable to live in, which adds a lot to this trip. Overall, this hotel is not only in a great location, but also has a good service. It is highly recommended to friends who need to catch a flight and pursue comfortable accommodation!

Hotel is 15 min from the airport, which is far from the city center. Stayed for one night for a short layover. Room was clean and new. Phone data connection the was very very weak in the area, although wifi was very good. Service was superb, as the front desk lady kindly arranged takeaway breakfast and suggested time to leave for the airport.

The hotel is located perfectly. It is in the center and on top of a shopping mall with many dining options. We were warmly welcomed by the staff. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast was very good and offered different dishes daily. Overall very satisfied, I would recommend this hotel to other travelers visiting Jiayuguan.
