No major issues. The room was really spacious, bigger than my own home, and it even had three bathrooms, so everyone in the family could use one at the same time. The kitchen was quite convenient to use. The air conditioning was a bit too cold, though.

The rooms were generally good, but it was incredibly noisy, making it completely unsuitable for a business trip. Every night, I could hear loud club music. One night was particularly outrageous; at 11 PM, the banquet hall downstairs was still blasting music for a party that the entire hotel could hear. When I called to complain, they said it was a wedding and would be over in 15 minutes, showing a complete disregard for other guests' comfort. We had two twin rooms booked, but were given king-sized beds instead, and the hotel refused to acknowledge their mistake. Even after we repeatedly expressed our dissatisfaction and showed them our English booking confirmation (for twin rooms), they still insisted we contact our booking agent. We finally compromised and got an extra bed, but by then it was already 2 AM.

Check in was smooth and was attended by Rash. She was courteous and helpful in getting the room. Was given a room on a higher floor facing partial Dubai frame. The soap etc is very poor quality and bed sheets not white, something not expected of such hotel. Bikash at concierge was rude and I feel need training on customer relations. Gave him the card and instead of handing back, he just placed on the table. Valet parking was also slow and disorganised. Imagine waiting 30 mins just for them to pick up the car. I don't see this in Sofitel Downtown or the JW Marriot. Location is ok but there are definitely other better hotels around the area. Other facilities such as steam room and pool area are quite old.

Stayed at Hyatt Regency Deira recently. Overall it was a good experience. The rooms are spacious and clean, staff is polite and helpful, and the hotel has good facilities like a pool, gym, and restaurants. Location is convenient if you want to stay in Deira near Gold Souk and the metro. The hotel is a bit old compared to newer Dubai hotels, but service and cleanliness are very good. Breakfast was also nice with many options. Overall, good value for money if you want a 5-star hotel in Deira area. Recommended for business trips and family stays.

Overall review: Highly recommended! Firstly, the location is excellent, right in downtown Dubai, making it very convenient to travel by car for errands or to Dubai Mall. Secondly, the rooms are spacious and beautifully designed; staying there is truly a delight. Thirdly, the breakfast is absolutely superb, and all à la carte and buffet items have Chinese labels, so guests who aren't fluent in English don't need to worry. Fourthly, the cleanliness is outstanding; even the light-colored bathroom showed no signs of dirt, indicating a very diligent cleaning effort. Additionally, I initially wanted to switch rooms due to personal dissatisfaction, and the Trip.com customer service actively coordinated the change, allowing me to move to a preferred room the very next day. This experience further boosted my pride as a Black Diamond member.

I was worried about the bad comments after making the quick reservation. The price was not the best but being close to metro station was my reason of choice. The welcoming was really nice even I do not understand the hindulish. The room was quite but you will hear planes landing all the time if you are on 6th floor. The kettl and irone did not work but it was late to ask for a new one to drink tea or ironing. The hair drier was hidden under the table , the room was freezing cold even I turned off the AC. The room was moderate in clean but the room needs restoration which is very low than Ramada standarts. I am happy with staying here but it deserves more interest.

Stayed here recently for a short staycation and overall had a pleasant experience, particularly considering the very reasonable rate we paid for a suite. The hotel itself is certainly impressive visually, with its distinctive golden tower design and famous status as one of Dubai’s landmark hotels. Check-in and valet parking were efficient, the elevators were surprisingly quick for such a tall building, and the room itself was clean and well maintained. We also ordered room service during our stay and found the food tasty, reasonably priced, and delivered promptly. One thing I did not realise when booking is that this is a dry hotel, so alcohol is not served anywhere on the property. That was my oversight rather than the hotel’s, but it may be useful information for future guests to know in advance. Our suite was spacious and more apartment-style in layout, with a separate bedroom and kitchen area. However, the overall setup felt quite minimalist in terms of amenities and furnishings. Although the suite includes a kitchen, there are notices advising guests not to use it, and aside from two drinking glasses there were no utensils, crockery, or cutlery provided. Similarly, amenities throughout the room felt limited to the basics: two guests but only two bath towels, two rolls of toilet paper across two bathrooms, and minimal additional furnishings such as sofa cushions or dining seating around the kitchen counter area. The room itself was comfortable enough, although there were a few practical details that impacted sleep quality for us. The illuminated touch-panel light controls remain quite bright overnight, and once your eyes adjust the room never becomes fully dark. There was also overnight construction noise nearby during our stay, although of course that may be temporary and outside the hotel’s control. Guests sensitive to light or noise may wish to keep this in mind. Another thing worth noting is that many rooms appear to face sideways toward neighbouring towers rather than directly toward Sheikh Zayed Road or the coastline, so lower-floor rooms may have fairly limited views depending on their orientation. Overall, I would say the stay represented fair value for the price we paid. While it may not feel especially luxurious or fully equipped compared with some other Dubai four-star properties, it was clean, efficient, and suitable for a short stay, particularly for guests looking for a well-located and affordable suite-style hotel experience.

This was a mixed bag. There were good things and there were things that could've been better. On the good side were the staff downstairs. Maria kindly gave me late check out and Genelyn was a lot of fun. She organized a driver for me to look around Dubai. The room size was good and the pillows allowed for a comfortable sleep. On the other hand, my room looked a little unclean. There was water on the carpet. I only found out after standing on it and getting wet socks. Parts of the room looked a little old and used. The room was pretty decent for being in the city. We booked the half-board option, choosing breakfast and dinner. However, there was a discrepancy regarding dinner; the front desk and the restaurant staff told us different things. We were initially told both the second and third-floor restaurants were options. When we went to the second floor, they said no, and it took some back-and-forth communication to resolve it. Then, at the third-floor restaurant, they also said no, despite the front desk confirming it was fine. We went back to the third-floor restaurant, and again, they refused. Isn't this something that should be synchronized internally within the hotel?

Wonderful Stay with Great Facilities and Service – Some Areas for Improvement We had a very good experience during our stay at the hotel. The highlights of our visit were definitely the water park, lazy river, pools, and various family-friendly activities—they were all well-maintained and enjoyable for all ages. We especially loved the dinner buffet at Suan Bua Thai Restaurant. The spread was extensive with a great variety of delicious dishes. The buffet breakfast was equally satisfying with a wide selection of tasty options to choose from. The spa facilities and services were also excellent and added a nice touch of relaxation to our trip. However, there were a few areas that could use improvement. Despite having a confirmed room booking, our check-in was delayed and the room wasn’t ready until 5:30 PM, which was quite inconvenient. The hotel did try to make up for it by offering a late check-out by two hours, which we appreciated. Another aspect that could be enhanced is the ambience and interior design of the hotel rooms and restaurants. While clean and functional, the decor could use a refresh to better match the overall experience. One small suggestion: we couldn’t find a nice spot in the lobby or common areas to take a family picture with a good background or hotel name. Adding a dedicated photo wall or scenic corner would be a great idea for families and guests wanting to capture memories. Overall, a great stay with lots to enjoy, and we would consider returning again with hopes that a few improvements are made.

As a regular Accor guest globally, I was extremely disappointed by my recent stay at Rixos. This was a birthday suprise for my GF and there there were issues throughout the one night stay: • Valet arrival experience was poor. We waited around 10 minutes for someone to take the car and assist with luggage. • Check-in took almost one hour to be seen, which is unacceptable for this category of hotel. • No one escorted us to the room. • Luggage took approximately 45 minutes to arrive after multiple follow-ups. • Pool service was extremely slow, with around one hour waiting time for drinks and only one staff member serving guests. • Restaurants were closed, only the buffet or 4 dish options in a pool restaurant or an Italian at night that we was informed only when booked its exclusive to guests with 4 days or more so don’t be fooled by the marketing claims online, you will only access a buffet. • Breakfast buffet is like something you would see in Benidorm. Disorganized, tables not cleaned or ready for the breakfast rush and many empty display trays so you are left to find scraps (see photos taken at 9.30am) • On departure for our evening at Atlantis Royal, we waited approximately 25 minutes for valet to bring the car, causing us to arrive late. • On return to the hotel, there was again no valet team present, only security, and we waited another 10 minutes for a driver to attend. Overall, the stay felt badly understaffed, poorly coordinated, and nowhere near the standards expected of a premium luxury property under the Accor brand. This experience honestly made me regret choosing the hotel for a special occasion. I genuinely believe the property should be reviewed directly by Accor’s central management team in France, because in its current form it does not reflect the standards associated with Rixos Ultra or Accor luxury positioning. There are many nice hotels in Dubai, please do yourself a huge favor, spend your money in any other but this one.

① Location: The hotel is right by the metro exit, making it easy to find. (There are two exits on one side; one leads to the second floor, requiring a short walk, while the other opens directly onto the hotel's side entrance on the ground floor.) There's a free government-run bus service outside the hotel to Yas Island/Louvre, which you can board with a ticket. Currently, it runs once a day. ② Room facilities: Quite old, feels like it hasn't been well-maintained since it was built a long time ago. There are many guests, usually families, and the elevators are insufficient. You often have to wait a long time (there are elevators on two sides, and the one for long-term guests on higher floors can go down). ③ Other: A 500 AED cash deposit is required upon check-in. Before getting your deposit back, you'll need to allow 10 minutes for a room inspection. I recommend taking photos at check-in to document the room's condition. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to attractions, but it needs to be booked a day in advance on a first-come, first-served basis. I originally booked this hotel for its convenient location to catch the free bus to Abu Dhabi, but it's really quite dated. If you're considering it for the same reason, I'd suggest looking at other hotels nearby, as there are plenty of options within walking distance.

Entry into the sea is normal, but a bit deep and it will not be comfortable with children right away, since they can only splash around near the shore To sum it up - the hotel is a 4 with a minus or a 3 with a plus

The check-in experience was very pleasant and quick. Enor and Harsh were friendly and professional. We were given a high floor as requested and upgraded to a double bed without being asked. The room had a good view of the city and had everything one needs and expects from a hotel when on holiday. Breakfast had a huge spread. More asian and salad options would be great. There were some healthy choices, skimmed milk and Indian masala tea too. The hotel looks good from the outside with 26 floors, a clean swimming pool, a gym and an elevator that gives you a view through glass. It had an event for NYE too. We saw a lot of people partaking in it. It is an easy walk to Dubai Mall and the Burj. There are 2 convenience stores nearby, a cafe inside and easy to get taxis (Bolt, Careem, Uber). Jabed who cleaned our room well was cordial and professional and checked on our needs. Overall, we had a great stay, better than expected after reading older reviews. The staff that work here are friendly and want to help, including the breakfast staff. I left some minor written suggestions with the lady at the desk when we checked out at noon on Thursday. I love the Millennium brand hotels and Millennium Central Downtown can go from great to extraordinary! I would definitely recommend it to friends and family. Veronica

Extremely satisfied with this shopping experience! I highly recommend it! We brought our kids, and it's a very fun hotel. The beach, pool, and kids' playground are all well-equipped. It was a great experience.

The hotel's location is great, right in Dubai's new city center, with excellent amenities nearby and not far from the metro station. Upon arrival, they proactively helped with luggage, and check-in was smooth. All the hotel staff were very polite. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and a good variety of food. The rooms are spacious and bright. The only thing was that the balcony door was locked, which they said was for safety reasons. I later asked the front desk to unlock it for me, but I had to sign an agreement. Overall, I'm satisfied. The only regret is that this trip to the UAE coincided with the conflict between the US, Israel, and Iran, and neighboring countries were all somewhat affected. I hope peace returns to the Middle East soon.

This is a massive resort, located at the very tip of the Palm Jumeirah. The architecture is grand, stately, and very well-designed. There are pools, a beach, a water park, various activities like ping pong and a golf practice range, and an abundance of facilities for children. Our room was a high-floor, sea-view room, and standing by the window, the view outside was simply breathtaking. Even though the resort has been operating for 18 years, it's incredibly well-maintained. Despite the large number of guests, especially children, everything runs smoothly and is very well-managed. All the glass doors and windows are immaculately clean, not a single fingerprint, because staff are constantly wiping them down. We discreetly counted several swimming pools, and one of them alone had eight lifeguards on duty. There's a great variety of dining options, including Michelin three-star and one-star restaurants, as well as two buffets. Breakfast was generally good. A special shout-out to our dinner at the Michelin one-star Hakkasan – the food was delicious, the quality was excellent, and the ambiance was very elegant and upscale. Next door, the new Atlantis The Royal has opened, and guests staying here can take a shuttle to visit it. The staff are all incredibly proactive, enthusiastic, and super patient. They always make sure to diligently complete whatever you ask of them before moving on.

This was our third time staying here. Overall, we like the hotel, but we were very disappointed with the water situation during this stay. We informed the staff that there was no cold water available. Considering how hot the weather is in Dubai, guests should at least be able to take a cool shower. Unfortunately, even with the cold tap turned on, the water was extremely hot, almost like boiling water. After spending time outside in the heat, being unable to take a proper cold shower was very uncomfortable. We hope the hotel can address this issue, as it significantly affected our stay.

I absolutely love this hotel! I stayed on the club floor which included an amazing view of the Burj Khalifa, an exclusive lounge on the 24 floor where you can have happy hour, afternoon tea, and breakfast, as well as having a personal butler 24/7. I loved the service I got on the club lounge as well throughout the hotel. I loved how there was a shuttle to take you to the Dubai mall. The shuttle runs every hour expect for 6pm. You can use the shuttle bus as a starting point for the big bus hop on hop off tour which is what I did. The shuttle was punctual, driven safely, and always had room. The Dubai mall’s food court is definitely worth checking out! But anyways, this hotel is definitively worth staying at! The breakfast is also amazing, both on the club floor and the main breakfast area! I am so excited to return soon! Special shoutout to Meg as well as his colleagues on the club floor who took care of us! Thank you and see you again soon!!

The hotel is wonderful, everything is excellent: location, rooms, food, staff. The room had all the amenities, a great view, it was clean, and the furniture was good. Both the hotel and the rooms are well-maintained. The staff is attentive and friendly. A huge thank you to the front desk employee (unfortunately, we didn't catch his name). Due to a flight schedule change, we arrived much earlier in the middle of the night... he accommodated us and our child in a waiting room, and in the morning, he checked us in at the first opportunity. He kept checking on us and asking us to wait. We will definitely stay at the Ramada Hotel again if we're in Dubai. We wish you all the best!

The hotel has very friendly staff at the reception, housekeeping and restaurant.. the room is spacious and clean however, in the bathroom the bathroom had a few cracks on it .. other wise it was a pleasant stay.. Breakfast spread was an okay okay types because most of the food was cold example , the pancakes, French toast. The breads and muffin seemed to be stale as they were very hard and dint look very pleasing. Otherwise it was a comfortable and relaxing stay !

I had a wonderful stay at Residence Inn by Marriott and would highly recommend this hotel. Though I booked a deluxe king room on the 2nd-5th floor, I was pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a spacious deluxe room on the 30th floor with two twin beds, as well as complimentary late check-out. The room was well-equipped with a kitchenette, washing machine, and a standing shower. The staff, from the reception, housekeeping to restaurant teams, were incredibly warm and attentive. The only downsides were the slow lifts (only 3 out of 5 were working during my stay) and the really cold temperature of the room despite adjusting the air-conditioning (possibly due to a central system). While I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, the hotel offers several dining options, including a restaurant on the 43rd floor, as well as a cafe and Starbucks on the ground floor. There is a small convenience store on-site, and a larger supermarket just a few minutes' walk away. The location is excellent - only a 4-minute walk to the Financial Centre metro station, and easy access to Ubers for exploring the city.

The customer service was awesome, very friendly and helpful, but the location is too popular and far away from the main attractions of the city. Also, the quality of the breakfast (sausage and mortadela) could be better. The green metro line is 12 min walking. To sum up, I would say it is a budget hotel but not 4 stars.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel itself is nice, but the staff are what made it fantastic—they were so helpful the whole time. The amenities are standard but everything was clean and in good order. The location worked well for me: you're sort of between the Marina and downtown. Each is about a 20-minute taxi ride away, which I preferred over figuring out the metro. A real highlight is the restaurant's terrace off the lobby—a perfect spot for morning coffee or an evening drink.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The hotel's location is unbeatable, within walking distance to Dubai Mall and the Fountains. The most amazing highlight was the infinity pool on the 54th floor; taking photos with the Burj Khalifa from there was an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experience. The room was spacious and tidy, the bedding comfortable, and the breakfast was varied and delicious. Every staff member provided meticulous and thoughtful service. It was an impeccable stay, and we would definitely choose this hotel again.

I had a great stay overall and would come back again after the renovations are completed. The staff were very friendly and always greeted me, which made me feel really welcome. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day — fresh towels and a nicely made bed. I also appreciated being allowed to check in early (with a charge), which was very helpful since I arrived early. The location is super convenient, close to the MRT and directly connected to a mall. A couple of small issues: the room was a bit dusty at first, and I wasn’t informed about the ongoing renovations. The drilling noise was quite disruptive when I was trying to rest. Overall still a very pleasant stay!

Dubai Connect vs. Booking Your Own Hotel

Emirates

Dubai Connect is useful, but it may not be suitable for every traveler.

Choose Dubai Connect If:

  • Your Emirates itinerary qualifies
  • Your connection is between 6 and 26 hours
  • You want to save money on accommodation
  • You only need a place to sleep, eat, and shower
  • You do not mind which hotel Emirates assigns
  • You are comfortable using the scheduled coach transfer
  • Your UAE entry visa is approved

Book Your Own Hotel If:

  • Your booking does not qualify
  • Dubai Connect rooms are unavailable
  • You want to choose a specific hotel
  • You prefer a particular room type or location
  • You want more flexibility with check-in and transport
  • You plan to explore Dubai during the layover
  • Your connection is longer than the Dubai Connect limit

Remember that booking your own hotel does not remove UAE visa requirements. You still need permission to enter the country.

Pro Tip: Stay connected during your trip with an eSIM. Explore available plans and choose the best option for your journey.

Tips for Using the Emirates Transit Hotel

  • Choose the shortest connection: A deliberately longer layover may make your booking ineligible.
  • Check before paying: Look for Dubai Connect in Manage Your Booking before assuming the hotel is included.
  • Request the service early: Book at least 24 hours before the incoming flight to Dubai.
  • Prepare your visa documents: Visa processing should be completed at least 48 hours before arrival.
  • Check passport validity: Your passport should have at least 6 months remaining.
  • Pack a transit kit: Your checked baggage may go directly to the final destination.
  • Save screenshots: Keep copies of the voucher, visa, booking reference, and flight details.
  • Bring a payment card: The hotel may request one for personal expenses.
  • Confirm the return coach: Ask the hotel what time you need to leave for the airport.
  • Allow enough airport time: You still need to complete security, immigration, and boarding procedures.
  • Have a backup plan: Visa approval, hotel rooms, and Dubai Connect confirmation are not guaranteed.
