This festival is held annually in August at the Kawaguchi Motor Circuit in Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture, with the theme "Let's Build a Friendly City with a Festival." The citywide enthusiasm for organizing the festival helped inspire the name "Tatara"—meaning "to get hotter quickly." Various civic and volunteer organizations, as well as local businesses, set up booths. The event is geared towards children and adults, and there's a "Challenge Corner" where the whole family can explore a haunted house and traditional games. Activities include parades, carrying palanquins (Japanese handcarts), and Nagashi dances, along with a fireworks display.

In the past, Japanese people believed that the wind could carry people's wishes. During festivals, over 2,000 Edo-style wind chimes were hung within the grounds of Hikawa Shrine, each with a slip of paper bearing a wish written on it. If the wind chimes rang, it was believed that the wind was sending a signal to convey those wishes. The hope was that everyone, not only in matters of love, but also in family, friendships, and work, would find happiness and fulfillment.

The Nagase Funtamama Festival, held in Nagase Town, Chichibu District, Saitama Prefecture, is a famous summer festival in the Chichibu region. Approximately 70,000 people visit each year. The festival originated from offerings to the water god by boaters to pray for safe navigation. During the festival, starting at 5:10 PM, boats decorated with lanterns play traditional Chichibu music; at 6:20 PM, lanterns are released into the Arakawa River, creating a dreamlike spectacle of interwoven lights on the water. The fireworks display begins at 7:15 PM, featuring approximately 3,000 fireworks, including various shapes and "Niagara-style" fireworks.

The Awa Odori festival began in 1985 and has grown in popularity, now being considered one of the three largest Awa Odori festivals in Japan, along with the Tokushima City and Koenji Awa Odori festivals in Tokyo. The festival features various types of dance, including the Nagashi Odori where dancers travel through the city streets, the Butai Odori where dancers perform on elaborately decorated stages, the Kumi Odori which allows for more personal expression, and the Wa Odori which features freer performances. These different dances are performed at multiple locations, making it seem as if the entire city is enveloped in the festive rhythms of the Awa Odori.

The festival culminates in a series of fireworks, creating a spectacular display of sparkling stars. The Ina Festival features a wide variety of fireworks, including the No. 4 fireworks, powerful starlight fireworks, and anniversary fireworks. The vibrant colors and melodious sounds of fireworks illuminate the summer night.
