Enjoy the "flowers blooming in the night sky" at Yokohama Port. Throughout the year, including winter, the night sky around Yokohama Port is briefly illuminated by fireworks, especially on weekends. Near Yokohama Port (Minatomirai, Osanbashi Pier), the Yokohama Night Flowers Festival is a five-minute fireworks display.

Yokohama Bay Area will host the summer illumination event "Night of Lanterns" from May 30th to September 23rd, 2026. Now in its seventh year, "Yokohama Night of Lanterns" has become a popular summer tradition in Yokohama. The event venue recreates the streetscape of Hoi An, Vietnam, creating a dreamlike space full of exotic charm, making visitors feel as if they are in a foreign land. To celebrate the museum's 20th anniversary, the number of lanterns decorating the museum has been significantly increased, reaching a record high of 1,000. This year's event is even more spectacular than ever before, with additional photo spots added to the main plaza and three other locations within the museum. These brightly colored lanterns, all handcrafted by Vietnamese artisans, will bring dazzling light to the entire venue. A new highlight is the approximately 4-meter-high "Lantern Cube." Stepping into this space surrounded by lanterns, one is immersed in a magical experience of interwoven light and shadow. In addition, a brand-new photo spot has been set up, inspired by the lantern stalls on the streets of Hoi An. Besides last year's popular Ao Dai dress-up experience and round-trip ticket raffle in partnership with Vietnam Airlines, this year's event also features a variety of programs, including a lantern painting experience for the whole family, and a special "Adult Night" program designed specifically for adults, allowing them to comfortably enjoy the evening.

Yokohama Hakkeijima Ocean Park will host a 19-day "Fireworks Symphony" fireworks display from May 30, 2026 (Saturday) to March 21, 2027 (Sunday). This unique fireworks show, created by the ocean park, uses digital control, with the fireworks synchronized with the music to an accuracy of 0.1 seconds. Approximately 2,500 fireworks will be launched over 10 minutes. The fireworks dance to the music, shining and leaping in the night sky, leaving behind a magnificent trail.

This unique fireworks show, created by the ocean park, utilizes digital control, achieving a synchronization accuracy of 0.1 seconds between the fireworks and music, launching approximately 2,500 fireworks over 10 minutes. The fireworks dance to the music, sparkling and leaping in the night sky, leaving magnificent trails. This immersive and spectacular performance transports every audience member into the world of the "Fireworks Symphony," leaving them in awe.

To welcome the 2027 International Horticultural Exposition "GREEN×EXPO2027" in Yokohama, the music and fireworks display originally scheduled for the summer in the Yokohama night sky, "Minato Mirai Smart Festival," will be temporarily renamed "Yokohama Green Expo Support 'Minato Mirai Festival'." The event will feature a spectacular music performance by DJ Tei, primarily active in Yokohama, interspersed with jazz performances, culminating in a magnificent fireworks show titled "Yokohama Sky Symphony (presented by Colowide)," illuminating the Yokohama harbor night sky with music and fireworks. In addition to the fireworks display, you can also enjoy performances by local nightclub DJs. The music and fireworks, set against the backdrop of the Yokohama harbor night view, create a grand spectacle that can only be experienced at Minato Mirai. The magnificent views of the surrounding skyscrapers and their reflections on the water are breathtaking.
