In the past, Japanese people believed that the wind could carry people's wishes. During festivals, over 2,000 Edo-style wind chimes were hung within the grounds of Hikawa Shrine, each with a slip of paper bearing a wish written on it. If the wind chimes rang, it was believed that the wind was sending a signal to convey those wishes. The hope was that everyone, not only in matters of love, but also in family, friendships, and work, would find happiness and fulfillment.

The Saitama Fireworks Festival is a major summer event in the Kanto region, held simultaneously at three different locations within the city. The opening ceremony took place at Owada Park. This venue offers excellent views with virtually no obstructions, allowing spectators to fully enjoy the spectacular fireworks display. Various types of fireworks, including rapid-fire and starburst fireworks, illuminated the Saitama summer night sky with dazzling colors. The spacious park was fully utilized, allowing spectators to experience the breathtaking light and sound effects up close.

This is a traditional summer festival that opens the normally inaccessible Iruma Base to the public. Every year in early August, Asaka City in Saitama Prefecture hosts a three-day Flower Festival, culminating in a fireworks display on the second day. During the festival, the "Kanto Yosakoi Festa," a night dance party, is also held, featuring over 90 participating teams and creating a vibrant atmosphere. In addition, there are the Asaka Chamber of Commerce Festival, wind band performances, children's food stalls, and other activities, ensuring that everyone, young and old, can enjoy the festival. Approximately 9,000 fireworks are launched within an hour, creating a spectacular scene. The fireworks display in the city center is particularly impressive, adding to the festive atmosphere.

This is a long-standing fireworks display held in Yorii, Saitama Prefecture, since 1931 (Showa 6). The Yorii Tamado Suitengu Festival is known as the "No. 1 Water Festival in Kanto" and is held to pray for people to be saved from drowning. In addition, a fireworks display is held on the riverbank of Tamado, a designated scenic spot of the prefecture. The fireworks display starts at 7pm and attracts attention with exquisite performances such as starlight fireworks and special effects fireworks. From dusk, paper lanterns floating on the river and the lights of the lanterns are reflected on the water, creating a dreamlike scene together with the fireworks blooming in the night sky. The lights and sounds on the river and the night sky complement each other, and it is an elegant summer experience that can only be experienced in Yorii.

This traditional event, held since 1948 (Showa 23), is Saitama Prefecture's oldest fireworks display. The "Blessing Fireworks," conveying wedding and birthday wishes, are a major highlight. The venue offers a wide view, allowing for spectacular fireworks displays against the dark night sky. Approximately 500 food stalls line the riverbank, creating a breathtaking scene. About 10,000 fireworks are launched, including large-scale aerial shells and starburst fireworks. Highlights include message fireworks and the "Sukumum! Mega Starburst Fireworks," sponsored by several partners. The Tokyo Disney Resort® special drone show, "Aerial Magic," begins around 7 PM, with approximately 1,500 drones drawing Disney characters across the night sky for 15 minutes.
