This year's Shikkaku Hometown Festival will be held on August 22nd (Saturday) and 23rd (Sunday). In addition to traditional activities such as Bon Odori (a type of traditional Japanese dance), taiko drumming, Hongoko (a traditional Japanese palanquin performance), and a children's parade, the festival will also feature a new Shikkaku soundtrack, "Ebi-kai Festival Soundtrack," created as part of a project commemorating the 150th anniversary of Chiba Prefecture, as well as the annual fireworks display, adding to the festive atmosphere.

This fireworks display was held at Hakucho Beach in Oami-Shirasato City, Chiba Prefecture. Starlight and information fireworks were launched, with 3,000 fireworks illuminating the night sky over 60 minutes. Because it was held on the beach, the view was unobstructed, allowing for a beautiful view of the fireworks from almost anywhere. Enjoying the fireworks while feeling the night sea breeze was also one of the highlights of the event. Food stalls were also set up around the venue, where you could enjoy a variety of food and drinks. The most spectacular part was the underwater starburst fireworks launched into the sea. They looked like flowers blooming in the ocean, creating a fantastical world.

The Yachiyo Hometown Family Festival is being held in Yachiyo City, Chiba Prefecture, where dazzling fireworks illuminate the night sky. Various paid seats are available for those seeking the best views. Alternatively, regular ground tickets are also available for a more leisurely viewing experience. A traditional sky lantern release ceremony will also be held starting at 4 PM, along with various food stalls. As enchanting sky lanterns float in the air, 5,000 dazzling fireworks light up the night sky. The area surrounding the venue is filled with food stalls, creating a vibrant atmosphere at dusk, offering a chance to fully enjoy the summer festival atmosphere.

The Noda City Sekijuku Fireworks Festival is a renowned summer fireworks display in Noda City, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, famous for its dazzling fireworks displays over the Tone River and the vibrant local atmosphere. To enhance local residents' pride in their "hometown Puri" and strengthen bonds among them, a summer festival is held. At the festival's conclusion, 100 fireworks are set off to commemorate the 100th anniversary of watermelon cultivation, illuminating the Puri night sky. The festival also features various exciting Bon dances, such as "Dinosaur Oto" and "Puri Sauce Oto," for everyone to participate in; in addition, there are stage performances by local community groups, as well as a wide array of food trucks and stalls, adding even more fun to the festival.
