The location was good for business, but dhaka traffic is dhaka traffic, so it was a pain to travel anywhere other than downtown. The staff were outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything was clean, and our room was cleaned daily. The only issue I had was that the bed was too hard, and I didn't sleep well the first night. I told the house cleaner, and immediately he brought a softer mattress and 2 quilts. After this, I slept well. I am a westerner and used to soft beds, my travel partner is Bengali and the bed was fine for her. So this will not be a problem if you are used to hard beds. As soon as I told them my problem, they solved it immediately. Such good hospitality. The roof top pool was refreshing and clean. The gym was very well equipped, better than some gyms I have been to.
Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka

This hotel should be the most luxurious hotel in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. It is the hotel where leaders of many countries stay. The breakfast is rich, and the service staff are enthusiastic and professional. Of course, it is also related to their high charges. If you buy breakfast alone, it is RMB200/person. Facilities: The hotel opened earlier, and the facilities are different from the same price in China, but it is very clean and hygienic. It is the kind of old but very clean. Environment: There is a huge swimming pool in the yard, and there is a small open-air restaurant next to it. Service: There are security guards wearing AK47 and shotguns at the entrance of the hotel yard. Cars entering and leaving must be checked for dangers and explosives under the car. It is one of the few hotels in Bangladesh where you don’t have to worry about someone breaking into your room and stealing things when you sleep at night.

According to European standard this is a lousy 3 star shabby place. If you look around outside in Dhaka it is a paradise. I was in a room without a window. The window was hidden behind a gypsum board. The noise from that blocked window was big. I think just the window behind was broken and you are on the street. It was very dirty. I asked for for another room. The new one was much better and cleaner. Internet is very slow. Connection is dropping from time to time. Breakfast is poor. Leftovers from dinner and some few very basic items. Service in the hotel is questionable. They treat white people as an infinite source of money. For a car transfer on same location in two different shifts with 2 different guys on reception I was asked to pay 500 and 1000 BDT. And none felt guilty for cheating us. The quality of the building is very poor- no sound insulation, air conditioning is working on a cold mode but you cannot control the temperature. Towels are smelling on mould. Elevator is smelly. From the hotel they arranged a city tour. Arrange is exaggerated. Just collected some money. The guy with the car was not speaking English and asked me for an address in the beginning of the “city tour”. Happily he called his boss who speaks English and we agreed on some kind of city tour. The only thing properly done was a free of charge transfer from the hotel to the airport. I think it was mainly because this shift was with the best man on the reception-he really was competent and reliable.

Decent hotel at the business centre of Dhaka and not too far from the Airport. I had booked an executive class room but was given standard deluxe at the front office. However, when i reminded they immediately changed it to the executive class (what if someone didn’t notice but had paid for executive - this should not happen). Breakfast buffet was good and staff member ‘ARMAAN’ at the restaurant served me really well. He was courteous and helpful. Other hotel staff were also good but they can improve a bit at the concierge. Wifi was good. A lot of eateries around the area so I mostly ate out, Especially, at the famous Star Kebab restaurant which is just round the corner. Better taste, options and reasonably priced. The room service and restaurant price were too exaggerated and on top of that you are charged multiple taxes. Overall comfortable stay but i guess if you are in Dhaka - go for apartments/AirBnb as there are limited good hotels and they are mega expensive.

Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden

”As an airline crew member, I've stayed at many hotels around the world, but my recent stay at the Radisson Blu Dhaka was truly memorable, thanks to the amazing staff, including Asad, Mahamud, and Haque. From the moment I arrived, the staff’s warm welcome and helpfulness stood out. They went above and beyond to ensure I felt at home, which was much appreciated after a long flight. The room was spotless, well-organized, and designed with both comfort and functionality in mind. After a busy day, it was great to come back to such a clean, quiet space to recharge. The food at Radisson Blu Dhaka was another highlight of my stay. The buffet offered a wide selection of both local and international dishes, all delicious and freshly prepared. Breakfast was especially satisfying, with a variety of choices to suit all tastes. The hotel’s facilities are well-maintained, and the pool area provided a relaxing escape. I also appreciated the hotel’s location, which is convenient yet still offers a peaceful ambiance away from the city’s hustle. Overall, my experience at Radisson Blu Dhaka was outstanding, largely due to the exceptional service from Asad, Mahamud, and Haque. I’d highly recommend this hotel to any fellow crew members or travelers visiting Dhaka!”

The room is OK, and the breakfast is OK. It is next to the airport road, so try to ask the front desk not to arrange a room facing the street. The picture shows the sky garden on the top floor, and the swimming pool is also on the top floor
HANSA- A Premium Residence

This hotel could be the best one in Uttara area. The service goes beyond the expectation, as you can feel the pure kind heart from their smile. Remarkably Mr. Asif and Ms. Rupa are very impressive. Their manager Mr. Raihan gave a gentle asking if I arrived back to China. Apart from the service, the facilities are also high quality. Gym, swimming pool, SPA, pub etc. are all well equipped. Highly recommend!
The Westin Dhaka

The hotel service attitude is very good. The room I stayed in on the first night was a bit cold, and the service staff and cleaning staff took the initiative to help find an empty room to change. There are many types of breakfast, the taste and standard are good, and there are a lot of fruits. I will choose it again next time I go on a business trip.
