If you dont have to wait 35 minutes for your room to be ready. If there was a comfortable chair in the room instead of two straight backed ones. If the golf cart wasn’t out of order after dinner to take you back to your room 100 meters away. If the cushions for the lounges at the pool were available instead of having to lie on hard wood. Very hard wood. The cushions and pillows were stacked up and wrapped in plastic covering even though it was a sunny day. All day. If the food was more than just OK at the pool side restaurant. The power failure was not the fault of the hotel but it’s still a long way down from floor 8. If the fifth floor rooftop bar that is listed actually was open. If the massage was actually available as listed. Overall this is a nice enough place but it just needs to address some of these minor issues that perhaps individually are not important but that cumulatively add up to a sometimes frustrating stay.

What a bad hotel could be from a level of 4* to a price of 2* with just a little service like a laundry service, a even paying shuttle to go to the old town (2kms), bikes, a place or take a hot drink on the edge of the very chlorious swimming pool a international TV channel of the better placed showers because next to the reception without any intimacy like the pool face to the lobby, Finally a staff speaking well English at least at reception... But it is a beautiful hotel with style, quiet with rooms side river offering in excellent comfort ( bed-draps-sdb-balcon-wifi-deco) good breakfast served on the base, resting frame and staff Devote ( spoke a bit of Thai help).

When I was about to check out, I heard the commotion right outside my room which was on the third floor. When I opened the door, I saw the minor flood over the hallway, caused by the leaking, hanging, pipe. Among a few staffs actively taking care of the flood, a lady turned to me and said ”Please be very careful” so many times with soft, but concerned, voice. What impressed me the most is when she saw that I used the walking stick, she grabbed my arm and helped support me all the way to the elevator. I could tell that she has a genuine heart; very caring and attentive, and I found out later that she is the owner of the hotel, who came to take care of the leaking issue. I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you once again to the management and the staff of the hotel, and hope that the leaking problem has been fixed. In addition, I would like to make a note about the breakfast. I love the taste and the idea of bringing local food and dessert to the table. However, if some of the dishes, such as pork noodle and boiled rice, had been served hot, taste would be perfect.

Excellent resort. My wife and I rented a deluxe room for the king size bed for several nights while visiting, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Right by the beach, they have many units privately tucked away, and our “house” came with a cozy porch that we used to soak up the sun and get some fresh air. Beachside hideaway. There’s a pool and bar and even the theme is very cool, you can swim in it. Delicious breakfast, and top notch attentive staff - we called front desk for help with our bags and the guy was in front on a golf cart in seconds. Even from the beginning the GM Pom helped arrange for transportation from Bangkok and answered every question we had. Thank you and your world class team.

We had a coffee in the room with two bottles of water per day, a small refrigerator and the wifi worked well. The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. There is a parking in front of the hotel where we could park our rented bike safely with a night and day garden. We enjoyed the lift because with the outside heat, climbing can become a disgusting exercise. The air conditioning worked well in our room. Breakfast is served from 6:00 to 10:00 on the second floor. We stayed 1 night while on our way to Koh Chang. The location of the hotel (a rundown soi at this moment) does not suggest a ”Boutique” experience, but in fact it was a nice overnight stay. Very friendly staff at reception. We took a room with river-view and balcony. Room was very spacious and all facilities in good working order: enough power-outlets, bedside lights, excellent rainshower. Only thing not working properly was the (small) fridge. there is a nice new promenade that runs alongside the river (accessible from the nice hotel garden), but if you follow it in the direction of the bridge (city-center) it's a dead-end and you need to exit by going back to the hotel or cross a building site. Other side of the bridge is a busy nigh-market with lots of food-stalls, but I recommend the Japanese restaurant on the right side of the road just before you cross the bridge (around the corner of the Robinson Shopping Cr). Excellent japanese food and just a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Breakfast (buffet) at the hotel can be taken in the garden. All in all a good deal.

Impressed by every part of the resort 1, after check-in, there is a complimentary Afternoon tea mini set served to the room. 2 Stay in the pool view room as a door to play in the pool. 3 Quiet atmosphere, clean, warm receptionist. Smile, speak lovely 4 spacious rooms, good bathrooms, design 1 Breakfast has a lot to choose from. ' Dry boiled rice' is very delicious. 2 parking spaces in the resort area are convenient and safe. There is a restaurant called 'Chip' in front of the resort.

We stopped here for one night with a group of friends on the way to one of the local islands. On the positive side, service was excellent. There is lots of parking. The resort has a very large pool and fitness center. The gardens are beautiful. The decor is of an older, classic style but the property is clean and nicely maintained. They have some special function rooms for large gatherings but we did not see inside them. Our standard room was spacious and clean with a wood floor and a lovely large balcony overlooking the gardens. A large couch and coffee table faced the TV, and there was a work desk and lounging chair situated near the balcony sliding doors. The king bed mattrass was hard as is the rule in Asia. There was an in-room coffee-maker and fridge. Air con worked well and there was an extra large portable floor fan which was handy so that you did not need to have air con on alll the time. Bathroom was quite small but the shower was spacious and had great pressure. Our dinner experience in the in-house restaurant was excellent - menu is extensive, food was delivered quickly and it was very tasty. I appreciated the great vegetarian menu and found the noodle wrapped herb rolls with green sauce particularly tasty. There was a large bar separate from the restaurant but we did not try it. On the negative side, internet was extremely slow and spotty - which made staying in touch with work difficult for us. There was no safe in the room. There are no elevators and this makes it a challenge to get to your room if you are on the second or third floor. Thankfully it was not very busy and the bell staff took care of moving our luggage to the room quickly. In general there are a lot of stairs to navigate so if one is older or has limited mobility this can be a problem. Breakfast was free but it was cold and unappetizing. This could have been due to a power outage that hit the area due a bad thunderstorm, but still, they should not be serving cold food that should be hot. All in all it was still a pleasant stay. But the internet was the dealbreaker for us - if they fix it, we would consider staying here again.

For many years, we have always been happy to finish our 3-month Thai tour to this hotel that is very quiet on the river. The rooms are comfortable and clean, breakfast is mainly oriented to Thai but it is in Thailand and not in Europe. The only negative are the cold eggs, also the prepared meals are not warm but good. Unfortunately, it is not understandable in the restaurant with the English knowledge that you don't want to have the fresh-maked mirror swept on both sides, but that was almost every hotel outside the tourist areas. We simply don't understand why young people don't speak a word English when it is allegedly learned in schools.

We have traveled to Chanthaburi. Go to stay at the house by the bay next to Bang Manao restaurant I really like the rooms here, new rooms, spacious, clean, beautiful, hospitable staff, everyone. More importantly, there is a cute corner. To take a lot of pictures I like people who like to take pictures like us ^^ Going for the first time was impressed. The room we stayed in is a Deluxe Grand room. The back of the room opens the door to feed the fish as well. In the room there will be fish food for you. During our visit, there are activities and seafood baskets as well. Tell me it's worth it. There are many activities in the accommodation, including kayaking, paddle board, pedal boat. You don't have to go out anywhere. Also, the swimming pool here is very big. The pool is close to the bay. You can soak in the water and look at the panoramic view of the bay. Anyone who comes to stay here, do not forget to bring a beautiful swimsuit attached. Let's go and stay here. I recommend ^^

My wife and I stayed 3 nights from December 30th. Positives first, we had a pool access room which was great, the pool was very good and the resort generally good. Nice beach which they appear to clean which should be mandatory for all beach hotels, but so few actually do. The negatives are all food, beverage and service related. Breakfast generally was very poor, my omelette on the first day was cooked by a girl who was clearly being taught on the job, it was awful. On NY day we received a call in the room saying breakfast was extended from 9.30 until 10 am, we got there at 9.35 and both the Omelette station (yes i was prepared to try again) and Fried Egg stations were closed so we could not get either. I was offered 2 fried eggs both of which were stone cold. On our first night i bought their last bottle of a particularly good Red wine (THB2100) we wanted on NY Eve to go with a Steak we had seen on the menu. On NY Eve at 7.30 pm the wine came to the table to breath and we shortly afterwards tried to order, Starting with the Steak, this was sold out, we then tried to order 4 other items which would go with the wine, non of which they had. We ended up with a Chicken dish which neither paired well with the wine or tasted nice. Whilst there were some senior staff, many were no more than children, and whilst polite, they had no idea of service. Trying to order a vodka and Coke was a particularly interesting experience. No Gin and Tonic and only 2 Beers to choose from. I place no blame on the young staff, the blame is entirely aimed at the management and whoever is responsible for teaching them, or not in this case. Yes it was New Year and yes it was busy but that is no excuse whatsoever, this wasn't the first NY Eve the resort has had. To add insult to injury on checkout they charged me THB 120 for a glass they say was missing from the room. We never used the glasses the entire stay, so it was clearly missing to start with, i had no appetite to argue so just paid it and left. So many good hotel restaurants along this beach such as Taosong Beach, so will not be visiting here again.

A little short on upkeep for this property. Stayed one night after the long drive from Bangkok. In the morning the entire front desk staff said we had a flat tire. They immediately called a repair shop and told us the fix would be 600 Baht!. The truck came immediately and returned with the repaired tire. Apparently this is an outrageous price and we got suspicious. We asked the staff nonchalantly if this happened often and some blurted out “yes”. We were scammed.

Spacious, comfortable, there are options for both rooms and bungalows as you like. The price depends on accommodation, good service, polite staff, delicious food, can stay from couples to seminars. In front of the accommodation there is a shrine of King Taksin to pay homage to the prosperity. As for the way to ask Aigu

We have regularly (annually except for Covid) made a point of spending a few nights here, and have never been disappointed. Beach-side accommodation for us, Breakfast is good selection of Thai from buffet, eggs fried to order. Generally out and about during the day Chanthaburi is not far if you have a car, but taxis are available -- contact reception. Restaurant open evenings for dining inside or outside by the beach. Evening relaxing listening to the sea, bottle of Singha, what's not to like. Also not many Farang, although the description applies to me, I prefer Thai company!

From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and comfortable, The superior cottage was comfortable and the air con blasting cold if you wanted that. Poolside was exceptional, view and fresh ocean air. Big breakfast if you wanted and peaceful evenings. Stayed 3 nights. Definitely worth a visit.

Our room cost a ridiculous 5,500THB, and was normally 6,000! Not a family room just 1 double bed. We booked 2 nights but within 5 minutes in the room we decided to stay only 1 night but we were still charged 50% for the second night which we didn't stay even though the hotel was near empty. On entering the hotel building the ground floor looked like an abandoned and derelict building. Before going up the stairs we were told to take off our shoes and leave them on a rack downstairs - my wife refused! It was easy to see the dust on the floor. The room was reasonably clean and probably nice a very long time ago but was totally outdated and the windows sucked in the heat so the curtains had to remain closed all day even with the moldy smelling air conditioner on. The windows on the outside had a lot of bird pooh on them and clearly hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The wooden window frames had lost their varnish. No hot water in the sink. The shower glass separation was removed and without a replacement leaving the fixation holes visible. The light bulbs above the sink had been removed without being replaced. The blinds in the bathroom were near impossible to open and close. The view of the beach from the resort had gone as a small room rent has been built on the beach blocking the view. Other building construction was ongoing on the beach in front of the resort. The water heater wasn't working but was quickly replaced by a kettle and 2 new bottles of water. Around the grounds and the swimming pool maintenance equipment and general rubbish were left around for all to admire - literally broken parts of the resort and rubbish bags lying around in all the areas of the resort. It's amazing that the management don't recognize this! The cement floor around the swimming pool was green with mold. The water was murky. A building construction was ongoing very close but behind one of the hotel buildings with rubbish lying all around. The beach restaurant was fine although maybe a little bit on the expensive side. There was no breakfast buffet just a choice to be made the day before. The breakfast restaurant was in a terrible condition; broken ceiling, broken utilities, dirty floor, broken decking, worn out furnishings and old gaz cookers lying around. Rubbish was also thrown under the decking. No hot water in the shower in the morning but took a shower anyway; and then suddenly no water at all while I was covered in soap! Fixed after a phone call to reception. This resort was probably very nice many years ago but requires a serious renovation to bring it back to an acceptable standard - the current prices for this resort are ridiculous when comparing it with the quality and the services! Definitely not value for money. It's unbelievable to us that this place is charging Marriott, Novotel resort prices for a rundown resort. Our second night we spent in a modern resort about 1km away with a big room with a sea view and balcony, good breakfast and plenty of f

Management customer service was poor. As an example we booked six rooms for family, one room aircon was not working, Asked to change room ans was refused - this was on a very hot day. Only relented when stated we would cancel booking. There were other instances of negative responses. Suggest people think about an alternative until change of management.

advantage: 1. The location is good, 15-20 minutes away from Chailao Beach Motorcycle, and a five-minute walk from the Blue and White Temple. There are supermarkets and restaurants around, which is more convenient, but it is more convenient to rent a motorcycle or a car. The hotel has I have a bicycle but I can’t go to places that are too far away. 2. The hotel has complete facilities, the rooms are neat and clean, and the environment is very good shortcoming: 1. Tian just fell there and suffered multiple bruises on his arms, fingers, and back, which brought a lot of inconvenience to the rest of the journey and seriously affected the mood of the trip. 3. Accommodation near the beach, quiet, lots of places to eat, location gives full marks for the price, but points were deducted from the room you stayed in because the air conditioner wasn't cool. On the day you stayed, the water didn't flow. It was too late to fix it.
