The facilities were old, but the room was very clean. The staff at the front desk and in the dining area were very kind. I called the front desk to confirm check-in time, but they were short-staffed and did not answer, but other than that it was perfect. I stayed alone on business. My reservation for one person was not communicated, so I was charged the hot spring tax for two people. When I explained the situation, they corrected it to one person, but I would have liked them to respond more clearly based on the guest name at the time of booking. There is a problem with trip.com's reservation specifications and I would like them to improve it.

Beautiful Onsen hotel. Visiting a friend at Yuda Onsen, and chanced upon Onn. Japanese standard of service and cleanliness, price is reasonable as well. I love how i could visit the onsen as many times I want. For those who are too shy, you can book one of the two private onsen rooms for ¥3500 per hr which is pretty reasonable in my opinion. Free flow of coffee at the coffee machine at the reception. Too many great things at this hotel to be written in a few words. Only downside would be the really tiny rooms but most Japanese hotels are tiny anyway.

　It is a family trip with 5 adults and 3 children over high school students. We stayed in a room with a garden away from us, which was very polite and very polite. It didn't seem to be the room I was asking for, but it was a large and very clean room. However, since the large communal bath and the end of the year are buffets, you need to move. The hot spring ♨️ has an outdoor hot spring and has a wide variety of amenities. Towels were also organized in individual 々 and were hygienic. 　The meal was a buffet, but the small bowl was just the right amount and the warm items were delicious. It was a pity that the only beef was cold. The futon was warm and sleepy There is a bowling alley 🎳 in the facility ､ It seems that the children enjoyed it ♪

Nice and clean hotel although room is a bit small. Free drinks and usage of dining area is a great welcome. However, breakfast is same everyday (across all comfort hotel). Got bored of the breakfast as we had the same breakfast everyday.

The location is great, and the view is amazing. It's right on the beach, with small islands right in front. The staff are incredibly attentive. The food is also delicious, showing the effort put into staying within budget. Dinner was delicious.

Very good stay experience, the hotel is clean and beautiful, the service staff is very friendly, specially arranged a little Chinese staff to be responsible for our check-in introduction and dinner. The dinner was good, and the rice steamed in the puffer fish soup was delicious. The room for 2 people is very spacious, and there is a Japanese style Lu Shiki gift.

Big room with nice accomodation and suitable price. Recommend to stay and don’t missed onsen (hotspring) in the hotel.

The room is functional and the Japanese breakfast and dinner are excellent. The hot spring has multiple special pools, but the hot spring water is not hot enough. It would be better if there is a vending machine selling frozen milk outside the hot spring door.

Smile Hotel Shimonoseki is right next to the JR station. Walk to the right and follow the station for two minutes. The JR station building is also the Daimaru Shopping Center. From the basement to the fourth floor are shops, restaurants and supermarkets. The bus station is right in front of the hotel. Buses 1 to 4 go to Karato Market. The seafood restaurants in Karato Market sell cheap salmon sashimi. Shimonoseki is a historic place and worth a visit.

Close to the station, convenient transportation, supermarkets, large shopping malls, food centers nearby, cheap hotel breakfast, microwave oven at the elevator entrance for guests to reheat , I will stay in this hotel again next time.
