Super Hotel Saitama Kawagoe
4.5/544 Reviews
shortcoming: 1. The space in the room is about the same as that of a hotel in downtown Tokyo! 2. I arrived at 2:30 in the afternoon and asked the clerk to check in first, but the clerk only said that check-in could not be until 3 o'clock, so he walked back to the lounge without looking back. He had to ring the bell again to call him out and store his luggage. 3. It may be that everyone is expected to go to the bathhouse to take a bath, and the toilets are also on the small side. 4. Breakfast is finished at 8:30, which is a bit early. It may be reserved for business guests or customers rushing back to work in Japan, but it is not a hotel for leisure travel customers. 5. The bathhouse is small, but there are not many people in the ladies' side, which is okay, but the men's side is a bit crowded. advantage: 1. Convenient location 2. Facial masks, hair care, mouthwash and other care supplies are prepared for use. 3. Breakfast is good
Yokotei

4 Senior backpackers in Japan ”stumbled” onto this gem of a Japanese inn next to the Arakawa River. Less than 10 minute walk from the Kami-Nagatoro station and 10 minute walk to Nagatoro Station. We chose location due to proximity to river and start of river boat downstream river ride-sites. We were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality shown throughout our two-day stay. We were late in coming out of the mountains of Gunma prefecture (2 hour plus train ride away) and called the inn to notify and were subsequently told that this was no problem for check-in and supper. Fortunately we made up time lost and got to the inn earlier that expected and enjoyed the serene tree-lined river and men's and women's communal furo (shower/bath also in rooms) with outdoor views before dining. Then...we were overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of the dinner! A real treat to get a 7+ course Japanese meal featuring the specialty vegetables and protein of the region! Upon departure we chose to walk with packs back to Kami-Nagatoro Station, along the river, but the proprietor had the Inn van ready and waiting to take us to the train station. The included breakfast's were also multi-course Japanese style, with regional specialties. Granted, the hotel is somewhat time-worn, probably seeing its zenith in the 80's and 90's but all the facilities were cleaning, usable and safe. All staff went made a great effort to ensure that we were enjoying the locale and the Inn. This location, in our opinion is much more serene and ”touristy” than the main area surrounding Nagatoro station but is only 10 minutes walking from that action. If opportunity arises, we will return. The Saitama Museum of Natural is just across the street but this large and modern facility was not open on our late arrival and on Monday. We left on Tuesday morning, but wanted to visit this place also.
Hotel Miyama

Highly recommend! We had 2 rooms, one with a private bath, the other was the special room on the 6th floor. The special room appeared to have the original materials and fixtures, which we appreciate. Everything was maintained very well. If I could suggest one thing, it would be having the carpet replaced in the room, as well as in the public spaces. Breakfast had a good variety of western and Japanese foods. The fixed course dinner was exceptional, from the presentation to the taste. One memorable experience for us was the table tennis. Our whole family had such a good time! Last but not least, the service was top-notch. From the moment we stepped in the hotel, Kitabori was there to welcome us and ensured that we had everything we needed. His professionalism and attention to details truly enhanced our stay! We would definitely stay there again.
Super Hotel Saitama Wakoshi-Ekimae
4.8/56 Reviews
The hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes from Wako station and within walking distance of the airport bus pickup point for both Narita and Haneda airports. I booked a non-smoking single room. The room is compact but efficiently designed, as is typical of most Japanese hotels. Interestingly, it features a double bed along with a small extra bed suitable for a child. The hotel is clean, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and responsible, offering helpful recommendations during my stay. Complimentary amenities such as facial masks and pajamas are provided. Breakfast includes a satisfying Japanese-style selection: miso soup, eggs, salad, Japanese curry and coffee. The hotel offers excellent value for its price, and I would gladly stay here again with my family on a future visit.
Yu No Yado Wadoh

It should have been full during consecutive holidays, but it was very quiet and comfortable. I am very grateful for your perfect response to your request. The food was very delicious and I was impressed by the ingredients and cooking methods I had never eaten. It's very strange that you get very well when you enter this hot spring, and you will repeat it. I am also surprised at the deliciousness of the water you drink after getting out of the thick hot spring. The staff 々 is very nice and a great hospitality inn.
Toyoko Inn Saitama Misato Ekimae

I used Toyoko Inn for the first time. I stayed in a room with two single beds alone. The amenities were taken from the place on the first floor and entered the room, and some of them brought themselves, but I was able to spend it without problems. It was a very convenient location near Misato Station. I went out without eating breakfast. I want to use it next time.
Candeo Hotels Omiya

We love Candeo Hotel, staffs are responsive and helpful. We checked in late at night and have to store our luggages at the premise since we are travelling to other area and return to stay at the hotel again. Amenities including onsen is very nice and relaxing. Thank you for serving us during our stay there.
Musashino Grand Hotel and Spa
4.2/57 Reviews
Booked this hotel for overnite stay while on the way to Nikko. The are is quiet at night time. The room is just a standard Japan hotel room, though size is bigger compared to those in Tokyo downtown area. The hotel spa (or onsen) is actually few mins walk away (and need to go up to footbridge to cross the road). We drove to the spa mainly because there is a restaurant that we could have dinner. As we arrived late, we didn't try the onsen there. The spa looks good and staff there is very nice.

Easily my favourite hotel at all time Bang for your bucks Really clean hotel Basically close to brand-new The hotel staff are really polite The welcome Drink is really delicious. The public Bath onsen is really relaxing The quality is basically the same as those paid path house outside I will definitely come again Although the location isn’t too close to the main train station, but it’s a close walk for around 15 minutes.
Toyoko Inn Nishi-Kawaguchi-Eki
4.5/5110 Reviews
We stayed in a standard twin room. Smoking is allowed, but we don't smoke, so we chose this smoking room, and the smell of cigarettes was really strong. Smokers can choose this smoking room, after all, there are very few smoking rooms in Japan. In addition, it is not recommended to live here, because there are all kinds of small houses with colors that cost 10,000 yen per hour. The Nishikawaguchi side is relatively messy, so be careful. The soundproofing of the room is OK, and there is free breakfast in the morning, sign up for it!
