Malak Regency Hotel
4.4/547 Reviews
Loved everything about it in particular the spotless bedsheets. The hotel is clean and beautiful designed with Arabic touches. The room was huge , the floor of the room was covered completely by carpet , a small window is present and a big bed. Daily cleaning is done. There is a river in-front of the hotel which is a plus. Toilet has good size and is super clean. Location is good , very close to the airport and you would roughly need 20 minutes to reach the center by taxi. Close by there is small mall and loads of restaurants across the corner. Old town is far from the hotel. Depending on traffic maybe roughly 20 to 25 minutes. Taxis cost like 20 KM one way. I saw two restaurants, one up for breakfast & the second located on the ground floor facing the river. You have a beautiful river In front of the hotel. I use to sit and do my readings every morning. Breakfast fantastic. Gym & swimming pool & the spa are all up to date and excellent. My best part was the room, the bed, the bedsheets and pillow. Super super clean . I stayed in 4 top luxurious hotels in Bosnia but Malak’s cleanliness is the top. Unfortunately the hotel will not provide you with iron but they do have laundry services. Customer service is just acceptable. Above all what was important to me personally “the room that gave me the feeling I’m at home” . Highly recommend you to book the hotel you won’t regret it.

Mostar Old Town
A short stay for a day, the hotel is quite close to Old Bridge , there are shortcuts to go directly from the hotel to the old street. The room was large and clean and tidy, and it was quite quiet at night. The hotel supervisor is very enthusiastic and has been chatting with you. The waiter will also help you carry your luggage to the room and help you carry your luggage from the room to the car when you check out. (Remember to tip) The nearest parking lot to the hotel is called: Parking 5 star. 12 euros a day, but the parking payment machine can use Bosnian coins. The front desk of the hotel will remind you very intimately and help you change the euro to Bosnian coins. The service is full! The hotel also offers dinner, very authentic Bosnian cuisine, fish and lamb recommended!
Hotel Grand

For those with time to enjoy Sarajevo Grand Hotel offers all you need as well as a glimpse into one of the many 'Grand' hotels with fitting that encapsulate the former Yugoslavia. Breakfast although basic was within expectations for the price point. The 'Sarajevo 1984' Olympic colors on the chairs I thought were a nice nod to the past. The room was modest but included everything I needed as a solo traveller and was cleaned every couple of days. Lack of AC was the only thing that made the trip slightly less comfortable. There is a bar on a maisonette floor that serves drinks all day till around 11PM. The staff were courteous and helpful. For those who don't have a car, taxi can be ordered from the front desk or you can walk 5 minutes to the Railway Station and nearest Tram/Bus stops. The observation tower is nearby, the Ottoman city is around 30 minutes on foot. I would stay again. 👍
Hotel No-1

Firstly, host Angelo is lovely. He showed us the room upon check in. He said there was an error in what we were quoted through Trip for our Diamond Tier room and we came to an agreement that was reasonable to both parties. However, for the price we paid, we would have expected a TV, wifi that worked in our room, a shower door that was all in one piece, no black mould in the shower, something to address the drain odour, an extra blanket and a comfortable pillow. Unfortunately, these were all small issues that added up to a less than perfect stay. On the plus side, the hotel itself was clean and the view of the town vines from the bedroom was delightful. The room was super warm, very quiet, very spacious, and directly opposite great restaurants, bars, St James church and the Risen Christ statue. Overall, it was a comfortable stay at a reasonable price. Thanks Angelo.
Hotel Holiday

Great hotel with an interesting historical background in a historical city; It's a little over 20 mins walk to the city center, however I choose this hotel because I have a car and this hotel has a very good parking lot for guest. You may take #6 tram to most city sights on this circle line. Hotel breakfast was very good, however the hotel facilities and deco look little dated, and internet was very slow on 8th floor when we were there.
Hotel Aziza

The hotel is in the perfect location, scenic and near restaurants, shops etc. It is walking distance to old town and a lot of the sights, like the cable car, the wooden fountain, historical mosques, city hall, eternal flame, museums, markets, etc. The hotel is super clean and the staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The room itself was huge, bed was very comfortable, bathroom was fantastic, you’re given toiletries and tea, coffee etc. Breakfast each morning was fresh and tasty, buffet style with a variety of juices and coffees/teas, ate so much! Used the sauna which is free and you book sessions with the reception staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again when I visit Sarajevo Bosnia again, loved it! Thank you :-)

Mostar Old Town
We were in Mostar during the off season and the hotel staff Ms Lela was kind enough to upgrade our room since the room we booked was on the top floor and was very small. It would be quite difficult to carry a luggage up the stairs as they did not have any elevators and both my husband and I are over 60 yrs old. The other lady on duty, Ms Elma was also very helpful in helping us to arrange for a taxi in Mostar and transport to Sarajevo. The location was near the old town..easy access to walk to the old bridge. Near a big supermarket . I would recommend Sinan Han . They are scheduled for some upgrading works and additional rooms so maybe there would be a elevator installed for easy access to the rooms.

Fantastic place for short and long stays with central location, walking distance from everything. The rooms are spacious, fully equipped and sparkling clean. Very friendly and welcoming staff and their breakfast is decent with huge variety of food and drinks.
Hotel & Spa Villa Meydan

This hotel is at a very central location, convenient to get to both the Old Town and train station. The room is very clean and modern, my biggest complaint is that the curtain is not blackout, so for someone sensitive to light like myself struggle to sleep well, this does seem to be quite common in BiH though to use non-blackout curtain. The breakfast at this hotel is decent with a handful of choices, what I enjoyed most is the swimming pool and the sauna in the basement, despite it is a small boutique hotel, so it was never crowded due to the small number of rooms here. PS: This hotel is on the Muslim side of Mostar, so alcohol is banned.
Old Town Hotel

The room is small but very clean. There are no toothbrush sets or paper towels. The location is very good. It is right in the center of the old city. There are many scenic spots around. There are many delicacies that can be checked in. It is suitable for lazy people to eat and go shopping
