Really good place! They have a shared kitchen, which is great because cooking your own meals in Australia is cheaper and healthier than eating out. The bathrooms are shared, and they offer luggage storage. The management is strict, ensuring a clean and safe environment. Overall, a great experience, and its proximity to the Central Station makes getting around very convenient.

Customer Service is amazing. Everyone I met is amazing, including front desk, in room dining, and bars at levels 3 and 29. We enjoyed fireworks with desserts and cocktails at Bar in level 3. It was a great experience indeed. The hotel room is very spacious, and the bed is very comfortable. The only downside is the indoor poolthe water is so cold.

The location was perfect next to the China Town & convenient to CBD. Only 15-20mins transportation to Sydney airport. I checked around 00:00, only One staff at the front desk, he seemed tired & his hand writing was terrible, the WiFi PW did not work & no one answer the phone when I dial from room. Next day, another helpful staff wrote the correct PW for me. The room was spacious but no enough desk area, the bed was comfy. The hygiene was unacceptable specially the toilet. The cleaning staff only clean twice during my 5 nights stay , the hair was sticked on the ceiling , molds were terrible in the shower area. The hotel need to enhance the cleaning & interior environment work. Overall this hotel was not worthy for the price I paid. Disappointed.

We booked a room specifically for its Sydney Opera House view. However, there's a busy road right outside the building, and even though we were on a high floor, it was incredibly noisy. It felt like there were no windows at all to block the sound! After repeatedly checking, I realized the windows were fixed. I can't believe how poor the sound insulation quality is; the noise was simply unbearable!

The staff was very accommodating. We arrived early for check-in, and the receptionist kindly allowed us to use the vacant room I had booked. Since I was with my family, this made things much easier—we were able to explore the area without carrying all our bags around. The room was clean, and the location was perfect—close to everything and very accessible. We had a great day and would definitely stay here again!

KKatyExcellent location - extremely convenient. Quick and easy to get everywhere thanks to proximity to the light rail, along with being walking distance from darling harbour. Unfortunately the hotel messed up our booking and there was no family room available upon our arrival but we were upgraded to a suite which was great. A shame we had to wait until 3pm to check in which is rather late in comparison to most hotels. The room itself was clean and tidy though I would say not really ‘4 star’. Overall it was a solid stay for our family of three but I would suggest the hotel is being a little cheeky with their ‘suggestion’ that room cleaning only happens every 4 days- I want my rubbish cleaned out every day thankyou!

GGlobal Traveler DLI recently stayed at Wake Up! Sydney and had a great experience overall. The hostel is conveniently located right across from Central Station, which made getting around the city incredibly easy. The location is perfect whether you’re exploring the city on foot or using public transport. The staff were super friendly and helpful from the moment I checked in. The check-in process was smooth and quick, and they were always available to answer questions or give recommendations. I stayed in a [insert your room type – e.g. 6-bed mixed dorm/private room], and it was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Each bed had its own power outlet and reading light, and the lockers provided were secure and spacious. The bathrooms were regularly cleaned and always stocked. One of my favorite things was the social atmosphere. There were plenty of events going on, and the common areas made it easy to meet other travelers. The Side Bar downstairs was lively and a great place to grab a drink or join the nightly events. I also appreciated the on-site café – perfect for grabbing a quick coffee or breakfast before heading out. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Wake Up! Sydney to any traveler looking for a vibrant, clean, and well-located place to stay in Sydney.
