Overall, it was a very good stay. The hotel is newly opened, the room was spacious and clean, and it was excellent value for money. I also appreciate the hotel for upgrading our room during this stay. The breakfast offered a wide variety, the sea view was beautiful, and the atmosphere was peaceful. There was also many parking space. However, the taste of the Thai food could be improved.

Hotel building is very nice however rooftop bar tables and chairs are falling apart. Once we got into bed we noticed the sheets were heavily stained and the towels were falling apart. Very unsatisfactory.
The hotel is after renovation and still under renovation! The rooms are clean, everything is snow-white, both linen and walls, new plumbing, but the staff remained as at the old hotel, namely, they do not take care of everything that was built. The rooms are cleaned well, but the common areas - the corridor, elevator, entrance group are dirty. I hope when the hotel is completely renovated, they will do everything as it should be. The breakfast is very good, buffet. Overall, we liked the hotel and I can recommend it for a vacation, if the price does not change!
Nice hotel with awesome sofa overlooking either ocean or mountains. Staffs are professional and friendly. Only drawback is location. Impossible to get grab or taxi other than calling one from hotel staff for 2.5x normal price
Novotel is a great choice for an out of town location. Breakfast can be improved ,beach area and water was great with lots of lounges around pool and grassed shaded areas at the beach.rooms are basic but clean and comfortable, hotel upgraded us to deluxe rooms oupon check in, there's a beauty of a restaurant across the road, very good food with cheap prices and lots of everyday items for sale,
This was our second stay at this hotel, as our first experience was excellent and encouraged us to return.
However, we were unaware that the hotel had expanded with a new area located approximately 500 meters from the original buildings, making it inconvenient to walk between the two zones. We booked the same hotel but ended up in the wrong building. It would be helpful if the hotel clearly labeled this new area with a distinct name, such as ”New Building,” rather than ”Garden Wing,” which caused some confusion as we previously stayed in the original garden zone.
The hotel is now much larger, and the rooms are spacious and well-equipped with essentials. Unfortunately, cleanliness fell short this time, as we noticed some stains on the blanket and towels. We chose not to raise the issue as we wanted a hassle-free stay.
The location is not ideal for visiting nearby attractions like coffee shops but is conveniently close to a 7-11.
While we appreciate certain aspects of the hotel, we might not return for a third visit and would prefer staying in the ocean zone instead.

An excellent hotel with excellent service on the most beautiful beach of the island. Regardless of the chosen accommodation option, you will have the opportunity to enjoy nature and relaxation in exceptionally comfortable conditions, and the hotel staff will sincerely do everything possible for this, starting from meeting you in your own station area before transferring to the island. The organization of the hotel is at its best. Cleanliness, comfort, quality of bedding, friendliness and responsiveness of the staff, security, attitude towards guests, breakfasts, a restaurant for lunch and dinner overlooking the beach, a bar with drinks, two different beaches, a large territory - everything is equipped and done so that guests do not want to leave the hotel throughout their stay. In my opinion, the hotels of the Samedresorts chain and in this case Sai Kaew Beach Resort are one of the best pages of our frequent vacation in Thailand. This time, our large group of friends with children and parents (23 people), vacationing in Pattaya, rented 8 or 9 separate deluxe cottages in this hotel for three nights. Despite the different ages of the vacationers (the youngest tourist was 2 years old), everyone had the kindest and most positive memories and impressions of the trip. Once again, many thanks to the management and the entire large team of the hotel for the warmth and truly heartfelt welcome. It was a complete Sabai. Special thanks to Mr. Lek, now our friend Lek, for his daily attention, kindness, care and those feelings that brought tears to our eyes upon departure. We hope that our separation will be short-lived, we are looking forward to our next vacation. On behalf of our entire friendly company, Aleksei B.

Silversand Resort offers a wonderful beachfront experience with an unbeatable location right on Ao Phai Beach. While only a few rooms are directly sea-facing, we stayed in a garden view room that was still well-appointed and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay.
The buffet breakfast features a decent variety, including a live egg station, salad bar, breads, pancakes, rice, curry, vegetables, and fresh coffee. One small note is that the 10:00 AM cutoff for breakfast felt a bit early given the laid-back island atmosphere—perhaps a slightly extended timing would better suit guests on vacation mode.
The resort maintains a no-smoking policy in its restaurant area (except some designated corner space), including the beachfront section. While this is appreciated from a health and family-friendly perspective, it may feel a bit restrictive for guests looking to fully unwind in an open-air setting.
That said, the overall experience—from the location and food to the service and accommodation—was excellent. It is on the pricier side, but the quality and beachfront charm make it a worthwhile choice for couples or anyone seeking a relaxing island escape.

A very disappointing stay and would not recommend it to anyone. The accommodation is very tired and in need of an extensive overhaul. We felt very enclosed in the room with no view other than other rooms and peoples washing . We were expecting a pretty little, scenic climb to our room but it was not like that at all.
We paid top price for a poor standard of accommodation and lots of bad smells at times.
On a plus side the staff were a lovely and the beach area is pretty but very squashed in.

The location is excellent, not far from the bus stop, right next to Sai Kaew Beach at the beginning of the beach. The beachfront is shady with trees. The resort is spacious and not crowded. Breakfast is a set menu with plenty of choices, making it filling. There are some construction noises at times, but the staff are friendly and attentive. The rooms are spacious. We stayed in Forest 10, a family room for 3 people. The room was hot because it was on the side that received all day sunlight. The TV in the room was broken and difficult to turn on. The remote control had new batteries, and the mosquito netting wouldn't turn on. Although the room wasn't very comfortable, the staff were attentive. My child had a fever and a headache, so I called to ask for medicine the first time, but no one answered. I tried calling twice more, but someone answered and quickly went to get me some fever-reducing medicine. Thank you for your promptness and attention.

Very Good
MMJ98Cleanliness - The room was fantastic, spotless in fact, 5/5.
Location - I give this 3/5 because the hotel is located at a beautiful beach. However, the street around the hotel has nothing else on it (not the fault of the hotel obviously). The beach itself is beautiful, I will repeat, but only immediately in front of the hotel. The rest of the beach is very dirty.
Service - This is where this hotel becomes a real disaster, and if I could I would give this section 0/5. We checked in around 11pm to 11:30pm. The staff came to the counter while watching a movie on his phone and left the movie playing full volume whilst looking for our key. After a very long process of checking the computer he led us to a room. He stumbled a lot on his way and appeared drunk. When we got to the room, he looked inside and told us it was already occupied. He told us that our room had been sold to someone else because we were late checking in and led us back to the reception where he walked off somewhere without telling us any more information. We stayed at the reception and used the bathroom facilities in the meantime. I also proceeded to contact trip dot com's customer support to let them know about the issue. After a while had passed he came back and walked past us to the bathroom. After coming out of the bathroom he led us to a new room and told us that this room was now available. The whole thing was bizarre and we were caused to worry unnecessarily by being told that we didn't have a room. I cannot think of any justification for his actions and it started off the stay at this hotel very poorly.
Amenities - The amenities provided by the hotel were adequate. They included a bottle of water in the room. I do like when hotels provide toothbrushes and other smaller things so that would be the difference between me providing a 4/5 and a 5/5 for this part.

ZZeeinchinaChef in kitchen on egg station was extremely rude and I had to speak to guest relations manager twice about his attitude. It didn't help and he still smirked while ignoring me chatting to him to get more waffles made for the waffle station
SSam DockseyWas a reasonable stay for one night and the breakfast decent range of choice. Room was clean but the only thing which made me concerned was when it came to booking the grand deluxe room
It stated sea view room you can only see a little bit just a heads up for anybody staying here. Would stay here again in the future.
GGuest UserLovely location with beach access. We stayed in a Cottage room, which had a large king-size bed and a single bed. The mattress was firm. Although the room was more than adequate for our stay, it is not luxurious. No room service is provided, but rooms are cleaned daily.
Breakfast was included and offered thai food and western based breakfast items ( although it was luke warm at best)
The dinner menu was very thai, fish based, but they did have pizzas or burger and bbq items. I ate mainly thai.
Staff are very friendly and welcoming, although a couple of times we ordered food or drink for it to never appear.
Beach .. sea was lovely and clear , and sand was soft and clean. You can walk over to the neighbouring bay for more restaurant options.
The usual downer is the people that insist on reserving sunbeds and barely using them... frustrating when they are unused for 4 or more hours.
GGuest UserThe service was excellent. I accidentally left something in my room, and a staff member quickly ran to bring it to me. The staff were lovely, and the view was absolutely stunning.
TTeeks I stayed at a quiet mini resort, which was great for peace and quiet. The best part was the chocolate cabin in the woods behind it. The infinity pool was mostly quiet and the rooms were cleaned well, which was important to me as someone with OCD. Despite being on the ground level with a sea view, I didn't encounter any bugs or ants inside.
The staff was decent, but not overly welcoming or friendly. Jik, who worked at the reception, was helpful and booked reservations for us at restaurants and other Samed group resorts. However, the resort was a bit far (15-minute drive) from everything else, making it quite a ride by motorbike or taxi. The distance felt longer when traveling around the island.
My least favourite thing was the breakfast restaurant. The Japanese style seating, while great for lunches or dinners, became annoying after a day or two, especially during breakfast when I needed to get up several times and bruised myself getting up. The restaurant also had an ant problem, which made me feel very uneasy and ruined my enjoyment of breakfast. I wished we hadn't included breakfast at the hotel. I felt that the same hygiene methods used for the rooms should be applied to the restaurant to prevent the ant issue.

LLaiaaaaGreat stay here! The service is excellent the rooms are clean and have beautiful views of the sea
Nice quiet beach area but the waves are quite big compared to the other side of the island
The transfer service to the boat and to the mainland is very well organised and professional
