This hotel is located in the geyser scenic area, with an excellent location and beautiful environment. You can see the geyser eruption outside the window. The light pollution is low, which is convenient for taking photos of the aurora. You need to go to the main building of the hotel next door to check in. The front desk is quite enthusiastic. Breakfast is also served in the main building, which is relatively rich in Iceland. The public area in the main building is very high-end. Some of the room pictures in the reviews on Ctrip are actually from the main building hotel, but it is impossible to upgrade you to the main building during the peak season.
The room area is small, no toilet paper is provided, and the water flow for washing hands and taking a bath is small. Others are normal for Icelandic hotels.
The hotel is in a great location, with a lake and snow-capped mountains behind it, which is very beautiful. I also saw faint aurora at night. The room was clean and hygienic, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was particularly rich and delicious. The front desk service was warm and thoughtful. It was the right choice for this self-driving hotel.
My friend and I stayed in the Bungalow after a long trip from Reykjavik through the south coast of Iceland. It was the perfect stopping place on our trip to continue our journey on the Ring Road. The bungalow was perfect for what we needed. Two twin beds, shower, towels. There isn’t WiFi out at the Bungalows but the main hotel area does. Breakfast was awesome. Staff was all great. Also loved the lake walk in the back of the property.
Clean modern hotel situated near the entrance to the town. Large room but space mostly in the washroom (if you like big washrooms its great). Breakfast is BIG plus in Iceland, hot cooked American breakfast (bacon, eggs, sauteed mushrooms, bread and toast), lots of juices and milk, three cereals available. Avoid the espresso machine just get the brewed coffee made by the staff. Tea is sachet so dependable. Brilliant stop on the way to the east
Stay here, get up in the morning and drive for a while, you can see the gullfoss waterfall, very casual. The hotel has a meal bar, you can have a drink at night. The mutton rice brought by my husband, the staff is also very nice and hot, this is private. Sitting in the warm cabin and watching the snow outside, it is very good.
Overall was fantastic but the hotel is really short of manpower, I’ve waited for sometimes to checkin as there’s only 1 girl who is doing bar serving, checkin, room service, room cleaning.
Attention! If you are considering booking this type of apar**ent or guest house for your trip, be sure! Do not use Ctrip, it is very deceptive. This type of hotel is self-service check-in, and requires a four-digit code, but Ctrip does not provide it at all, and there is no explanation in the email. We were asked to call outside the hotel to check in.
I booked an apar**ent, the room is large, the facilities are complete, and it has a balcony. The only drawback is that the hot water smells a bit strange when taking a shower. Many hotels in Iceland have similar smells, and I don’t know the cause.
The facilities of this hotel are very good, the room is large, towels are provided in the toilet, the hotel also has breakfast service, Gym and so on! Highly recommended for everyone to stay

SSharlene666View and location was stunning, rooms very basic for the price, I’m guessing location n view was where my money went ! Also wish they was black out curtains as the blinds didn’t quite fit the window and doors and let a lot of light in but overall it was a enjoyable stay and the staff were very pleasant !
GGuest UserIt is Perfect hotel for traveller who are on road bewteen Reykjavik & Vik, even if going to Skatafell.
It is located on calm and peaceful position and gave me very comfortable mood who are tired.
More amazing is,
their good restrarurant.!!!!!
In the morning, serve free breakfast. It is already good.
But in the evening, you can enjoy fastastic buffet with acceptable price.
And they gave me very kind service with real smile.
There are small road to reach lake by 5~10 min walking.
When I walked, a lovely dog from hotel follows me and to try excising with him.
It also one of very happy expereince.
Lake sightseeing is also very good.
If someone asks me to stay again,
”Sure. Absolutely.”
환환석Pretty nice and extremely kind reception people. I love them.
As usual like other hotels in Iceland, you should take a ride to get here.
The hotel room was big enough and there were 3 beds in the room although I'm staying by myself.
I love the way how the room is formed. I had two doors, one led me to the yard side and the other one faced the other rooms as well as the reception.
IDK this is the general rule but the shower pressure was horrible. It took more than 30 minutes to take a shower.
Speaking of the Hot tub, it was pretty small and adorable. But if you have plans to visit either Blue Lagoon or Secret Lagoon, You'd better skip this Hot tub.

EEric Chien FengDisadvantages: The hotel room and floors are very dusty and not cleaned well. The soundproofing of the room was not good, and other tenants could hear clearly when they were talking in the corridor. Although the hotel is advertised as a five-star hotel, the breakfast is actually not as good as the guest house and three-star hotels we stayed in during this trip in terms of bread, yogurt, etc.
Pros: Breakfast included, big bathtub. The room is American country style and the size is okay.
When I checked out, there was an error that other guests charged more than 40,000 local currency for dinner in my room number. Fortunately, another service staff immediately said not to worry about it.
GGuest UserNice big room, beds are very good, pillow ok (soft). Shower etc. also clean and do not smell of sulfur. Good and very extensive breakfast. Restaurant is good and has tasty meals for a reasonable price. Service and staff friendly and helpful. Location is remote. Supermarket is far away.
Diamond beach Is relatively close (30 minutes).

GGuest UserThe hotel is clean with every amenity in need and even the call-up service for aurora. As we arrive quite late so we didn’t enjoy much. Personally think the price is a little bit high but if for all the amenities it still worths such value. The only point we were not that satisfied was that we called the reception for kettle to boil hot water but it took more than half an hour before we finally got the kettle to the room
