Great location quayside with the restaurant right on the waterfront and a really short walk to all the places of interest. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food and drink was good from the restaurant and the breakfast good also.
This hotel is more like a three-star than a four-star hotel. Everything is average except that the bathroom is very new and beautiful, and the shower water pressure is sufficient. The prices of hotels in this city are all about the same and you can stay there for one stay.
The Granville Hotel is a 4-star hotel in the centre of Waterford city and, from our experience (4 couples who stayed there for 1 night in 4 double room), it is worthy of that star rating. We ate dinner together in its lovely Bianconi Restaurant and were very happy with the food and drink we were served and with the excellent service. Breakfast was also served there, and the level of service and choice of fare offered were also very good - including the hot food options which were cooked to order and brought to the table rather than delivered via a self-service buffet. We stayed in standard double rooms which were quite spacious, well decorated, clean and well heated (we were there in February), Our rooms also had air conditioning, which we did not need to use. Here are another couple of things to be aware of: The Granville does not have its own cark park but has an arrangement with the Clock Tower Car Park across the road. Bus Eireann's Expressway bus terminus is a short walk away on ther other side of the road, while Waterford's railway station is on the other side of the River Suir (walkable at a push). It doesn't have a swimming pool or a spa but that didn't bother us.
Whether it is the location of the hotel or the cleanliness of the room, it is very satisfactory, except that the waitress at the front desk and the restaurant is not very good, the others are very good!

Environment: OK

Don’t have high expectations for hotels in the UK, the natural environment is really nice. After all, in developed countries, the environment is really good
In the heart Waterford City, with wonderful views of the River Suir, the hotel offers free Wi-Fi and parking, 2 restaurants, a riverside bar and 66 ft deck level swimming pool.
Located directly opposite Reginald's Tower on the Mall, 328 feet from the House of Waterford Crystal and Waterford Museum of Treasures. The hotel is also just a short stroll from countless shops and other local attractions.
With a great location for touring South East Ireland, the Waterford Tower Hotel & Leisure Center is just a little over 75 minutes drive from Dublin and 45 minutes' from Rosslare Harbor.
The hotel is close to some of the finest golf courses in region, as well as the charming fishing villages of Dunmore East, Passage East and Cheekpoint.
The leisure and fitness center has a well-equipped gym, 20-yard deck level pool which has a separate kiddy’s pool.
We absolutely loved this hotel. Very convenient for the centre. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic. Lovely pub downstairs. My only complaint would be that the room was unbearably hot. We had to have the window open in December to cool it down. Not so good for the environment. Would definitely recommend though and would absolutely book again.

GGuest UserNice room, ok service, nothing remarkable. Clean and convenient, the restaurant has a nice variety and good service. Not much in the way of amenities, but all in all it was quite cosy and comfortable.
SStarryxinThe room was clean and spacious. Ample of parking lots. The duty staff was very helpful to assist us as we had a punctured tyre. Appreciate that.
