Needs maintenance and it needs air conditioning, We stayed in room 121. Ground floor and it had no air conditioning. Also paint in ceiling in the shower was falling off. Breakfast was typical continental with some options for fruit. Staff tried to help but could not move us as fully booked. Thanks

Check in and breakfast is located in the sister hotel, 5-10min. We chose the free park because it was cheaper. For the price we paid, we were enthusiastic! The bathrooms are relatively new, everything is very clean and you benefit from many places from 4-Stern Service: For example, it has various care products, snap set, shaped set, water bottles on the room etc. Breakfast was also very delicious and the staff was very friendly & premature. It was no problem for us to go a few minutes walk to the sister hotel to breakfast and check in, it was the price difference. All in all absolutely recommend!

I stayed at this beautiful hotel in May 2022. The hotel itself is beautiful. The interior tastefully decorated and the staff very attentive. I was in a single room which was fine. There was plenty of space for my clothes and a desk to work from. The shower was lovely. The only downsides: you could hear the toilets flushing in other rooms and my bed was particularly uncomfortable. In fairness I should have asked to change rooms which I’m sure the hotel would have facilitated. The price for a single room was slightly on the high side but this is Zug old town and the location of the hotel is very well situated. The station is a 10 mins walk away. Stay there again? Yes, but I would ask to see the room first and try the bed. That’s the only reason I’m rating this hotel 3 as opposed to 5. Had the bed been fine it would have been a 5 without any questions.

PRO: Freundliches Personal, gute Lage, einfaches Parken, geräumige und moderne Zimmer CONTRA: Das offene Bad verhindert jegliche Privat- und Intimsphäre. Dadurch, dass wirklich überall Spiegel angebracht sind, sieht man immer jede Ecke des Raumes und wird auch gesehen. Das WC hat zudem in meiner Wahrnehmung keine richtige Tür, sodass man an ”allem” teilhaben kann. Andere Punkt: Im Gebäude und insbes. im Erdgeschoss riecht es IMMMER nach Küche und insbesondere nach kaltem Fett aus der Fritteuse. Ich war mittlerweile mehrfach und es ist wirklich penetrant, auf mich gar abstoßend.

Thank you Ibis Baar for a very comfortable stay and an overall wonderful experience of our 3 weeks stay with you. Yes the facilities are basic and the lift can do with a touch up but its comfortable. The staff members are the sheroes at ibis Baar…ever so helpful, kind and generous. The location is brilliant. The Baar station is directly opposite and the Coop / Migros are adjacent with more than 10 restaurants/ cafés around for any meal you need.

I was very pleased with my stay here. The hotel is thoroughly modern and comfortable by American standards. Rooms are large with comfortable bed and lots of light. European plugs abound just bring your converter. Hotel is extremely quiet so no problem taking a nap after long flight or getting a good night rest. Restaurant is very pretty and breakfast quite pleasant and not crazy expensive for Swiss. Will happily return next time business brings me here. Winter view from my room shown.

We stayed here for a night; I think that if you want to have two businesses, you must make them both work well; otherwise I don't see why not only one but impecable. This to say it is really uncomfortable to go the other side of the road to the hotel where check in, breakfast etc actually takes place (extremely over priced for such a service, 17 francs per person per night), It is also uncomfortable to go there at the reception if you find any problem. The hotel's reception is inexistent, so we must forcefully turn to that twin for anything, but it does not seem normal or comfortable to get up in the heart of the night in pyjama and to go 5 minutes walking to ask for a In addition, it was impossible to sleep for the warm, but literally impossible. We called the reception asking whether it was possible to have a portable air conditioner or a fan but we were told to just open the windows (Captain Obviously, as if we didn't do it as soon as we arrived).

All worked as discussed and the hotelier Willy Graf is an engaged host with heart. For our 7-person workshop we used the Wildspitz room with good infrastructure. The atmosphere of the Dialogue Hotel was very pleasant and particularly positive for me the various tasty and modern seats and the generous and versatile offer during the break. The room was quiet, clean and functional, with a comfortable bed. Breakfast buffet was very diverse, including with fine touch, still warm soap and an excellent coffee. Dialoghotel Eckstein in Bar - very happy again.
