The Weintal is a clean, neat and tidy hotel that delivers what it promises. The location was convenient and central to the wineries and local attractions. The staff in the bar, restaurant and kitchen were outstanding! Such gracious and hospitable hosts that enhanced our overall impression of the venue. There was a stale water smell in the room but nothing terribly unbearable. I’d definitely recommend The Weintal and look forward to returning in the future.
We went to Nairne for a wedding, and chose to stay at Handorf. Loved it! Big, open, picturesque, and nice private cabins. Taking the family back for a holiday to enjoy the countryside, and we'll definitely be using the Handorf Tourist park again!
The breakfast is a set menu, the view of the lake is excellent, and the view from the terrace is also very wide. In the morning, you can see many boys and girls practicing rowing 🚣, btw, the sound insulation of the glass is also very good, so you won’t be disturbed by the outside world, but if you live next door With a loud voice, you can hear what they are talking about.
I was really impressed with this hotel. Staff were friendly, super comfy bed and the restaurant food was really good. I’ll definitely be back when I next work in Tailem Bend.
The display of cars in the foyer is amazing too!

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, however I had to ask for a room clean services on two separate days because they hadn't arrived yet - which was disappointing for a hotel in this level even if it was fully booked. Also, I had no help with my luggage when I arrived there, even though the bedroom had a sleeping gallery and I was a bit surprised to have to carry everything myself in a suitcase (with lots of steps). Overall, nice.

The hotel is in a good location, with convenient parking and a kitchen for cooking. It happened to be the Christmas holiday, and many stores were closed, so I could only buy groceries in the supermarket and cook for myself. It took about three and a half hours to get here from Melbourne. There were beautiful views along the way, and it was easy to find. It was a pretty good stay.
Can’t say enough how amazing our sleep was that bed in room 124 was friggin amazing
Bathroom good and great hairdryer the complementary nibbles a bonus
The food at bistro was good and breaks good.
Even though a lot of renovations we had the best nights sleep and amazing pillow
Thankyou staff were great and I’d be back if and when we come back to berri from Western Australia
A fantastic hotel, with quiet rooms and friendly staff. Rooms have everything for Travelers. Really tasty food as well - one of the best ”Schnitzel” in the World! (On some days with special food offers).
A warm atmosphere with some ”Art Deco” elements.
Highly recommend!

GGuest UserGreat location, breakfast in the morning smelt fantastic coming down to reception, lovely pool on the roof. Just don’t forget to pre book parking else you end up in the Wilson parking down the road which is still ok just not ideal.
GGuest UserNo car park attached to hotel, have to drive to car park yourself or pay $55 for a chauffeur to drive it. Room service menu was fancy stuff from the downstairs restaurant. Nothing simple. Not even room service breakfast available. On the note of the restaurant downstairs this is where the “buffet” breakfast was and I use that term loosely. Shocking variety. Even have to do our own coffees right in a tiny corner of the the room. One coffee at a time while the line gets bigger. We have to get a special order for eggs because the scrambled eggs are just mush. At least the toaster worked. And the space fits maybe 20 which is fine for a B&B but not for a 16 floor hotel. We had to have breakfast at 8 to avoid the crowds waiting at 9 and later. In the room itself (we had a suite), there were light switches EVERYWHERE. And they were all so confusing as you couldn’t see what they said. Then the one in the bathroom you had to walk in and close the door to access it. No fan ventilation for showers. Bath mats being so thin gets immediately soaked after one shower. No face washers. Bench was too low for a bathroom. Hand towels way too low. The size of the bathroom was nice though and the shower pressure was good. TV remote didn’t work properly, could not find all amenities like coffee, tea, fridge even etc. No nice hotel guide folder to help us out. The “desk” was the tv cabinet when there was plenty of space in the lounge area to have a desk. Then we had a balcony with no chairs or table to sit at (can easily have some out there and bolt them down for safety). The temperature stuff don’t even get me started. Uncomfy beds and flat pillows. I ended up sleeping on the lounger as it was more comfortable.
I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon. Wasn’t horrible but wasn’t great. The staff were nice though which was a nice change
YYYHKandMACAUThe location is excellent, right by Glenelg Beach. Supermarkets and restaurants are all within a 5-10 minute walk. Driving to Adelaide city center or the airport takes only 15 to 30 minutes. The hotel also has a casino and a bar where you can enjoy a drink or try your luck. While the hotel shows its age a bit, it's clean and the rooms are spacious enough. Breakfast was just average, with limited food choices, but the view was lovely. The paid parking lot is not in the same building as the hotel; it's across the street, about 30 steps away, so you'll need to carry your luggage over.

RRosie ZVery nice stay, comfortable bed, wanted to use the sauna but didn’t ended up using it because it closed when I checked in, why can’t it be open 24/7 like other hotels?
11xxaericI had a great stay at HotelMOTEL Adelaide! The location is super convenient, just a short walk to the light rail, making it easy to get around the city. The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable. The staff were friendly, and the check-in process was smooth. Perfect for a short stay!
GGohHKReview of Stay at Stamford Plaza Adelaide (24–28 August 2025)
The hotel enjoys an excellent location right in Adelaide’s city centre.
The front desk staff made a strong impression, especially Luke and Iris, who went above and beyond during my stay. On 25 August, when I developed a skin allergy, Luke responded swiftly, recommending a nearby clinic and checking in on my condition with genuine care. Iris was equally attentive — she quickly resolved an air-conditioning issue by arranging a room change, and later, when the lifts were out of order, she promptly guided guests to use the staff lift. Their professionalism and kindness were greatly appreciated.
Overall, the hotel would benefit from refurbishment to match the outstanding service provided by its staff.
However, while the service was commendable, the rooms did not meet basic five-star standards. Cleanliness was below expectations, and the shower design caused water to spill into the toilet area. Overall, the hotel would benefit from refurbishment to match the outstanding service provided by its staff.
GGuest UserThere is a small corner kitchen in the room with complete cooking utensils, the room is comfortable, and the mattress and pillows are very comfortable. Appreciate the leaflets of many surrounding activities in the hotel. Opposite the hotel is a supermarket and a restaurant. There is a beautiful lake and a library nearby. There are many bus lines downstairs, and it is close to the Mawson Lakes campus of the University of South Australia.
RRitaHighly recommend staying at YHA Adelaide Central. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The hostel is within walking distance of Central Market and public transport. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the hostel offers other common areas, too. I enjoyed my stay here❣️😊
PPaul BridgerI found the room to be old. Old furniture painted bricks, small ensuite bathroom with no power points inside the power points were located outside the bathroom area where the tea and coffee facilities were there was literally not even a metre between the end of the bed and the toilet door. When sitting on the toilet my elbow was pushed against the glass of the shower cubicle and the shoulder on my other side was pushed against the toilet roll. Very small area to do your business. The bathroom sink was very small and inconveniently placed. The showerhead was a massage head that shot in every direction but where I wanted it I thought that the massage head was half on so I tried to turn it to get a nice stream only to find that the poor stream or off with my only choices I have stayed in better places for the same amount of money. If I had no choice to get a bed for the night I would rebook with this one but if I’ve got a choice to go somewhere else, I will go.
