An Unforgettable Stay at W15 Hotel, Kandy Our stay at the W15 Hotel in Kandy was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and attentive care that set the tone for an incredible experience. The hotel effortlessly combines luxury with comfort, creating an atmosphere that feels both indulgent and inviting. The rooms were vibrant, tastefully designed, and offered every comfort imaginable. It was evident that meticulous attention had been paid to every detail, making each space a haven of relaxation and style. The food was nothing short of exceptional—a true culinary delight! Every meal was a celebration of flavors, beautifully presented, and expertly prepared. Dining at W15 was an experience in itself, and it was clear that the team takes immense pride in their offerings. A special mention must go to Navod, Tharaka, Prebod and the entire staff. Their professionalism, friendliness, and genuine warmth made us feel truly cared for. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, and their efforts made this trip truly unforgettable. Thank you, W15 Kandy, for providing us with some of the most memorable experiences we’ve ever had. We can’t wait to return and relive the magic!

The hotel itself and its facilities are fantastic. The rooms are nice and the food is absolutely superb. Unfortunately the service in the restaurant was really poor, which made this stay absolutely unpleasant. We were given dirty table cloths (and they didn’t want to replace it after asking for it), our table was given to someone else while we were at the buffet, we had to order drinks several times until finally served, we were given the bill to sign while still eating the main dish (not even dessert) and actually wanted to order more drinks, after being seated, we had to wait min 10 min to place orders for drinks or get silverware etc. From a 5* hotel we definitely expected something better. This is the only hotel during our trip, where we experienced bad service. which is a pity, as otherwise the hotel is really nice. We would not book it again.

Overall stay in radisson kandy was pretty pleasant and comfortable. Room was very clean and presentable. Had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and the dining hall was spacious and the food was tasty with a variety of dishes. Roof top restaurants have a good variety of dishes with swimming pool and very view of skyline with visible kandy lake, buddha temples, mountains etc. Staff was very pleasant and ready to help for any requirements. Only was the availability of drinking water. Supplied only 2 bottles of 500 ml each and water cooler/ dispenser not available and guest had to buy additional water bottles at very high cost (compared to market rate. Hotel management can have a look at an issue of availability of drinking water. Otherwise the overall hotel stay was pleasant/ satisfying.

Kandy Jetwing Gallery Hotel A quiet and comfortable place to rest, service details need to be improved Overall, it was a relaxing experience to stay at the Jetwing Gallery Hotel in Kandy. The hotel rooms are spacious and bright, with balconies. I was lucky to live in a room facing the pool with an excellent view. The room is very comfortable. Every morning when I wake up and open the balcony door, I can see the pool and the nature in the distance, which is very pleasant. The hotel is close to the famous Mahaweli River in Sri Lanka. The surrounding ecological environment is very good and the air is also very good. You can often see various birds and eagles, which is very suitable for people who like quietness and close to nature. The swimming pool is my favorite part. It is open almost all day. When swimming in the early morning or evening, I feel that the whole pool and the world belong to me, which makes people feel relaxed. The restaurant is also facing the pool. When dining, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and feel the tranquility of nature. After breakfast every day, I will sit on the platform to read or handle work. The atmosphere is quiet and the temperature is suitable. Looking back on the entire 20-day journey in Sri Lanka, this is one of the few places where I can read with peace of mind. The hotel is far from the city, and it may take 20 to 30 minutes of driving time for tourists who want to explore Kandy city. Secondly, the professionalism of service details can be improved. For example, there was a service staff performing local dances at check-in, but it was obviously perfunctory. After that, the hotel arranged a dedicated waiter and handed me a mobile phone for contact at any time, but her service seemed unfamiliar. For example, when I was in the room, I asked whether the curtains were manual or electric. After she answered that they were manual, she demonstrated and opened the curtains again. At that time, it was 6 or 7 o'clock in the evening. It was completely dark and there was no need to open it at all. The same waiter would ask me what I wanted to eat every morning at breakfast. I said that when I eat cereal, I always ask whether it is with coconut syrup or honey. I chose coconut syrup for four consecutive days, but I was asked again every day. They are all small things, but it can also be seen that service is more of a formality. In general, the Jetwing Gallery Hotel in Kandy is a place to relax and get close to nature. Its rooms, swimming pool and surrounding environment are all good, and the price-performance ratio is also high. If we can further improve the service details and provide proactive and considerate service, the overall experience will be more satisfactory. A Peaceful and Comfortable Retreat, but with Room for Service Improvement I stayed at the Jetwing Kandy Gallery during my visit to Kandy, and overall, it was a relaxing experience. It’s a great place for those who love peace and nature. The pool was my favorite part of the hotel. It’s open almost all day, and swimming in the morning or evening felt like having the entire pool and sky to myself, a truly serene experience. The restaurant also overlooks the pool, and dining there offers both visual and sensory enjoyment. After breakfast each day, I would sit on the terrace, read a book, or work. It was quiet, and the temperature was perfect—not too hot. This hotel was one of the few places during my 20-day trip in Sri Lanka where I could truly relax and enjoy some peaceful reading time. However, the hotel has some shortcomings in its service. First, it’s located quite far from the city center, which might not be convenient for those looking to explore Kandy. Second, the quality of service felt unrefined. For example, upon check-in, staff members performed a traditional song and dance, but it felt half-hearted. Later, I was assigned a personal service staff member and given a phone for direct contact. However, the staff member seemed inexperienced. For instance, when I asked if the curtains were manual or electric, they demonstrated how to close them but then reopened them, even though it was already 6-7 p.m. and completely dark outside. These small details reflected a lack of polish in the service. Another minor issue was at breakfast. Every morning, I chose cereal and was asked if I preferred coconut syrup or honey. I answered “coconut syrup” every time, but the staff still asked me the same question every day. While it’s a small matter, it suggests room for improvement in their service process. Overall, the Jetwing Kandy Gallery is a great place to relax and connect with nature. The rooms, pool, and surrounding environment are excellent. If the hotel could enhance its service details, such as being more attentive to guests’ habits and preferences, the experience would be even better.

Kandy Victory Eco Resort is truly a hidden paradise surrounded by a range of green mountains and birds. Overall Worth it, the room, petite balcony, and the view (I suggest changing the sitting concrete to a comfy chair pls), and the food was served warm (the presentation & taste were beyond expectations). Sudara the manager is fresh to the place and I was surprised by his clients handling the talent. All the staff were very friendly and treated us like a part of the family. Originally booked Grand, who knew that it was cancelled without reason before check-in, it was really speechless, and then I was forced to change this one when I was playing. This one has a good environment, but the location is too biased and there is nothing around. Originally, Kandy is the mountain city, eating is not convenient, The overall view of the top of the mountain is not as good as I booked before, but I can't see anything, because I went out to eat and passed by, the grand location is excellent. The room facilities are old, the roof is covered with foam, the service is not bad, the price is high, and the price is not high. Breakfast is also ordered.

I really enjoyed this hotel. It is directly across the street from the Sacred Tooth Temple. In front of it is a beautiful lake. It's great for a walk. The hotel itself is very cool because of the antique charm. I have never seen anything like it. It is a unique experience if you're looking for obe.

From the moment we arrived at this hotel, the service was truly excellent. We arrived early, but were still able to check in. We were greeted with cold refreshing coconut drinks and snacks, and the most helpful, lovely staff. Our room was beautiful, very stylish, with a small balcony, lovely bathroom (great toiletries!) and extremely comfortable bed. Perfect! The breakfasts were delicious, such a varied choice of food, with good coffee! We are vegan but there was plenty for us to eat. Day 2 we had freshly prepared hoppers filled with lentil dahl - so yummy! Location is ideal, very close to the lake and not far from the train station. We bumped into a gentleman who works at the hotel when we were out exploring (he was off-duty at the time but recognized us from when we checked in) and he was SUPER helpful, walking with us for a while, pointing out some interesting places to go, and he even helped us buy tickets for a traditional dance show. We were only in Kandy for 2 nights, but really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Highly recommend.
