Excellent Service , however be aware that i purchased through trip.com the hotel did try to charge me an extra £100 euros , because the deal i paid for wasn’t the price set by the hotel, however after the Receptionist spoke to the manager , they honoured the price i paid , all in all from start to finish took about 20 mins , the Room with a sea view was absolutely stunning, i thought the room had no electric , however a quick pop to the desk explained that the key card you use to get into the room goes into a slot in the entrance way to turn it on , ( quick suggestion to the hotel maybe explain this when you give out the room cards ) Having stayed in a different hotel previously i didn’t know what to expect , i’m happy to say i will be back , its at least 2/3 minutes walk to the beach , has disabled access which is great , lifts are in the lobby to allow higher floors, they have a chill out zone thats open from 9am which has rooftop jacuzzi’s ,sauna and stunning views over the sea , it also has two pools one inside the complex and another outside, The breakfast while inconvenient at times having to go downstairs to eat, ( they do have room service however at €10 was not something i wanted to pay personally it was a nice touch though ) was plentiful to say the least they had a large variety to cater to everyone . The receptionist were brilliant even with a slight language barrier , some are multilingual in any event , my advice learn some words in Spanish helps a lot ! The Room itself was absolutely spotlessly cleaned , fresh towels and bedding changed daily by the cleaners , with little heart chocolate’s was a nice surprise one slight issue for me unless you want to be woke up at 8/9am with the drinks bar i would fully use the do not disturb sign , The hotel has a massage and therapy i used the 2 hour service and both the husband and wife are an excellent edition to the hotel , they cater to a range of injuries , we even joked that my back was as hard as wood , they worked in tandem and gave one of the best massages i have ever had and i’ve had quite a few over the years. There are quite a few places to eat , however the restaurant which is about 1 minute walk from the hotel has the most amazing staff and the food is great, the prices are reasonable to. Now i know this is an adult only hotel so i was expecting the hotel to be loud in the evenings until the early hours , and while this was at the end of June 2024 i heard little in the way of noise passed 1am. Being the night owl having the sea view and listening to the sound of the waves at 1/2/3 am in the morning is the most peaceful i have felt , thank-you Ezra Mar for the Wonderful Memories. All in all it was an Excellent stay , I Will be back thats for sure , Thanks to all the cleaners and staff at the hotel , what a pleasurable experience.

Room - Junior Suite I was looking forward to spending some time in the garden which had a balinese bed sun longer. I contacted the hotel 6 weeks prior to our stay and requested a sunny aspect, which they said they would accommodate, however our garden got no sun at all throughout the course of the day. The Junior Suites opposite got the sun all day, so it's 50/50 as to whether you'll get a room with any sunshine. Requested another room but was told the hotel was full. The garden itself was fine, though it wasn't appealing to sit out in the the shade in December. We spent most of our time outside if the hotel for this reason as were not ones to sit around a busy pool all day. The room itself was basic and in need of some tlc. Definitely not a 4 star as advertised on their website. However the cockroaches were the real low point. My daughter put her shoes on and a minute or two later took one off as she felt something inside, and a cockroach fell out! There was also a cockroach in a suitcase (that was kept off the ground for the duration of our stay) and climbed up my arm when I was packing! My daughter saw one in her bed and refused to go back to sleep in it after we made sure it was gone. We found around 12 cockroaches in our room over the course of our 6 night stay. Food - It's a standard buffet style restaurant. Plenty of choice, nothing amazing but you'll always find something to eat, though it was never hot. The chef cooking the omelettes on a morning has to be the most miserable man I've come into contact with. Entertainment - we watched one show and decided not to watch any more. The kids enjoyed the floating thing in the pool that you had to run across though. We didn't bother with the kids club. Beach - 5/10 minute walk and lovely calm, clear water, safe for the kids to play in. We did the glass bottom boat, saw barracuda and manta rays amongst many other fish. The kids did the inflatable water park. The 9 year old loved it. The 7 year old, not so much. They both enjoyed the sea lion experience at the marina too. Mini golf at the Barcelo hotel was also good fun. Restaurants - there are plenty within close proximity to the hotel. Many were British style cafe/pubs aren't our thing. But we did eat at the restaurant on the marina a few times which is part of the Barcelo hotel. The food was excellent. We were half board at our hotel, but ate out for most meals after a few times in the hotel restaurant. All in all, I wouldn't return to Broncemar Suites.

The place is good, but maybe there are better hotels for the same price. Caleta de Fuste Beach is ideal for exploring the island because it is in the center of it, with a car you have 1 hour up and another hour down from this hotel to go to the best beaches. You can also relax on the hotel's beach with a very beautiful artificial pool made by the sea.

The rooms are basic and clean, the level of cleanliness is good. Thou when we were there there was a lot of maintenance ongoing. Which you have to appreciate has to be done in the quiet times. What was annoying was by 8am there was drilling, not a great start to the morning. The building was getting area plastered and painted. There was days all you could see was a cloud of dust. The guys were doing a great job! The food was poor, we are not fussy eaters but we struggled. The snack bar food was worse. This could be due the time of year but was such a disappointment. I cannot fault the staff as they were all lovely people.

I arrived at Castillo in the early evening of October 2nd 2023 as a solo traveller. Having left home some 8 hours previously, I felt tired , hungry , and thirsty and was therefore looking forward to being welcomed to my apartment quickly and efficiently as a holidaymaker. Instead I found myself face to face with a surly and charmless young man who ran through the check in procedure in a bored and disinterested fashion before thrusting a grainy and badly photocopied map into my hand in order to find my apartment myself amongst hundreds of similar white bungalows in the complex At this point I might add I’m the only traveller checking in at that point. Some 45 minutes later I find my apartment after walking round the complex umpteen times , if the check in guy had removed himself from behind the desk and simply pointed to a gate 50 yards up the road all this could have been avoided. The apartment was tired looking , sagging curtains , broken sofa bed , the main beds were uncomfortable metal frame affairs with a mismatched wooden headboard jammed up between them and the walls No air con , simply antiquated ceiling fans/lights which were hard to figure out to keep running without the lights on. Kitchenette appallingly equipped . Something scuttles when I open a cupboard Blocked drains emitting foul odours in the bathroom The roads around the complex are shocking , featuring broken manhole covers , broken electrical boxes , discarded rubbish lying around , and oh watch out for cars randomly crossing your path without warning from the strange little mini roundabouts which allow cars to zoom in front of people in a pedestrian zone. Also beware the electric scooters hacking around everywhere I think I had 3 room service visits in a fortnight , and despite paying for late checkout on my last day I then had a cleaner wondering why I was still there at 12 , I had to google the words paid late check out to get rid of her , obviously someone hadn’t done their job! Finally if you come here and are not particularly fit , it’s approximately 1 1/4 miles to the nearest beach , despite saying beach resort and a steep uphill climb on the return I’m sure Castillo will give the standard reply to this review , but you need to revamp your rooms , employ staff that are good with people , repair your roads , look after your grounds properly , including using the irrigation system in order to avoid the eyesore of dead plants everywhere, last but not least some general information given to guests and proper signage around the place would greatly help!

Managed to get a one bed bungalow last minute. The area itself is only £15 euros in taxi from airport Arrived and the lady on reception was miserable. Not particularly helpful. Anyhow found our bungalow. In block B and nice and quiet. Spacious. Shower worked well cleaned very well. We did have to unplug fridge to plug in kettle but didn’t bother us. The fridge is extremely small so cannot stock too much at one time. Pillows of plenty and blankets if cold. Towels maybe could do with an upgrade as hard/rough. The pools : in block b you you had to reserve. The bar area was good though food dire. All very clean and spacious. Main family pool up the top block apparently was rammed. Crowded with families but I guess perfect for children. Two bars up there with branded drinks. Third pool across road from block b and was very quiet. Lots of beds to choose has a help yourself soft drinks area. All staff friendly and helpful When you walk into the restaurant you think omg as it’s continually busy and loud. But the staff work tirelessly and somehow it’s organised ! Plenty to choose from and lots of lovely food. The New Year’s Eve gala was lovely too and well organised The hotel is about 10 mins walk down to main square bars and restaurants. Molllys bar the view bar and chaplains are all good which is 2 mins up the road. The supermarket there and a few other eateries.. As a base I think it’s good. They just need to update a few bits. It can be quite a hike to eat in restaurant if in block c just a bit of a strange set up
