Restaurante S' Albufera

I have eaten at the restaurant several times so made a reservation as they can be very busy. The food, as usual, was lovely, but the service really let it down. Our order was taken both for drinks and our meal together. We sat for ages before our drinks came and watched several other tables get their drinks even though their order had gone in after ours. Eventually our drinks came and almost immediately after our food arrived. Once we were finished our plates were taken away but nobody asked if we wanted desert. After some time I stopped a waiter to request a desert menu. We sat for ages before our order was taken. Again our plates were taken when we were finished. We wanted to order cocktails but were surprised when the bill came to the table. I had to explain we weren't finished and had not asked for the bill. We received the cocktail menu and waited ages for a waiter to take the order. To have a main meal, desert and cocktail took about 2 hours 20minutes. So don't go if in a rush.

I can definitely recommend this restaurant, good food, friendly people and good service. We have been coming here for about 5 years now and have never been disappointed. We will be back next year.

Fantastic food, great atmosphere due to the interaction with the owner who cut a more than sublime chattaubrian at the table as it should be. Recommended at the playa de muro.

Booked by chance and absolutely don't regret it!!! Everything was great!! Service for all ages, delicious food and all at a fair price. I hope we'll be in the area again!!
