4 niche cities accessible by high-speed rail | 3-day 2-night relaxing getaway — traveler post in Songyang

4 niche cities accessible by high-speed rail | 3-day 2-night relaxing getaway

After working overtime, I just wanted to find a place that isn't crowded and doesn't require waking up early to travel. I've picked 4 cities with completely different styles, all accessible by high-speed rail, perfect for a short getaway to sleep in and explore at a leisurely pace. 🌿 Zhejiang · Songyang | The last hidden gem of Jiangnan 🚄 Transportation: About 1.5 hours by high-speed rail from Hangzhou East to Songyang Station. Take a taxi to the county town after exiting the station. 🍃 Overall feel: Avoid Wuzhen and Xitang. Yellow mud ancient villages and Songyin Creek offer a very rustic atmosphere, perfect for getting some fresh air and relaxing. 🗓️ 3-day 2-night slow itinerary Day 1 | Arrive and check in. Stroll through the Ming and Qing Ancient Street in the afternoon, see the old artisan shops, and take a walk along Songyin Creek in the evening to wait for the sunset. Day 2 | Yangjiatang Ancient Village. See the yellow earth houses and find a corner to sunbathe. No need to force yourself to visit all the villages; just go back to the homestay to rest if you're tired. Day 3 | Sit at Chenjiapu Avant-Garde Bookstore, take a light stroll through the village, buy local specialties, and head back. 🍜 Food: Salt-baked chicken, huizhi cake, sweet potato starch dumplings. 🏨 Accommodation tips: Prioritize the county town or Yangjiatang homestays. The ancient villages are quiet and remote at night; if you're worried about convenience, choose the county town. 💡 Quick tip: There is distance between the ancient villages; you can charter a car or take a taxi, don't try to walk. 🪨 Fujian · Taining | A city of water and Danxia landforms 🚄 Transportation: About 1.5 hours by high-speed rail from Fuzhou to Taining Station. Take a 10-minute taxi ride to the ancient city. 🍃 Overall feel: A quiet ancient city in northern Fujian, with clear water and Danxia landforms. Taking a boat to see the mountains is very healing, and there are no crowded tour groups. 🗓️ 3-day 2-night slow itinerary Day 1 | Arrive and take your time strolling through Taining Ancient City + Shangshu Lane. The old alleys are very quiet. Rest in the evening. Day 2 | Take a boat tour of Dajin Lake and see Ganlu Temple. If you don't want to rush, just visit this one spot and spend the rest of the time resting. Day 3 | Take a gentle walk in Zhaixia Grand Canyon to see the streams and rock walls, or just eat snacks in the ancient city. Head back when you have time. 🍜 Food: Youjiang tofu, nuangu buns, Jinhu clear water fish. 🏨 Accommodation tips: Homestays inside the ancient city; you're right in the alleys, making it convenient to eat. 💡 Quick tip: You must take a boat at Dajin Lake. Boat schedules are fixed, so no need to wake up early to grab the first one. 🏮 Anhui · Jixi | The origin of Huizhou culture 🚄 Transportation: High-speed rail from Hangzhou/Shanghai directly to Jixi North Station. 🍃 Overall feel: Avoid the crowds of Hongcun and Xidi. White walls and black tiles along the Dengyuan River, delicious Huizhou cuisine, and friendly prices. 🗓️ 3-day 2-night slow itinerary Day 1 | Check into a homestay near Longchuan, take a walk along the Dengyuan River in the evening, and see the riverside villages. Day 2 | Longchuan Hu Ancestral Hall, then go to Renli Ancient Village and spend the afternoon drinking tea at an old teahouse. Day 3 | Light hike on the gentle section of the Huihang Ancient Trail. Only walk the entrance section, no need to challenge yourself with high intensity. Head back afterward. 🍜 Food: Hu Shi Yipin Pot, Jixi stir-fried vermicelli, taguo. 🏨 Accommodation tips: Homestays in Longchuan Village offer great value; if you want more excitement, stay in Jixi County. 💡 Quick tip: Assess your ability for the Huihang Ancient Trail. If you don't want to walk, just skip it; no need to force yourself to check it off. 🍲 Jiangxi · Qianshan | A city of local life in Hekou Ancient Town 🚄 Transportation: Only 22 minutes by high-speed rail from Shangrao to Qianshan Station. 🍃 Overall feel: Close to Gexian Village, but much quieter. Local people still live in the Ming and Qing old streets of Hekou Ancient Town, and it's not very commercialized. 🗓️ 3-day 2-night slow itinerary Day 1 | Arrive, stroll through Hekou Ancient Town, take your time visiting the old merchant houses and paper mills, and watch the evening breeze on the Xin River. Day 2 | You can go to Gexian Mountain (optional! If you don't want to climb the mountain, stay in the ancient town to drink tea and eat snacks). Day 3 | Look for food at the ancient town's morning market, walk around, buy snacks like dengzhanguo, and head back. 🍜 Food: Dengzhanguo, Qianshan hot noodles, rice cakes. 🏨 Accommodation tips: Hotels around Hekou Ancient Town are convenient for travel and dining. 💡 Quick tip: Climbing Gexian Mountain is quite tiring. If your main goal is to relax, you can skip it. ✨ Final thoughts These four places correspond to: rustic ancient villages, Danxia landscapes, Huizhou-style villages, and the local life of an old town. You don't have to visit them all at once; pick the one that best matches your current mood. The core of a relaxing trip is: you don't have to visit all the attractions, stop when you're tired, and don't force yourself to complete a checklist.

[Preface] Don't swipe away just yet, friends ✨ I've been reviewing my post data recently, and dwell time has a significant impact on performance. If you have a moment, please take your time to look through the photos. If not, it's totally fine to swipe away! Fellow Trip.com creators, feel free to leave a comment—let's chat about how to improve our content! ✨ Best time to travel ✅ Top choice: September–November: Autumn in Lishui is incredibly comfortable! The temperature is perfect, and the rice paddies at Yunhe Terraces are slowly turning yellow, covering the mountains in gold. It's perfect for photography and a top choice for shutterbugs. ✅ Second choice: March–May: The spring atmosphere is unmatched! The terraces are gradually filled with water, creating mirror-like surfaces that reflect the clouds and sky. Often accompanied by misty rain, it's full of that classic Jiangnan charm. ❌ Not recommended: June–July: This coincides with Lishui's plum rain season. It's very rainy and damp everywhere, and mountain roads can be slippery, which significantly impacts the travel experience. Must-visit spots Lishui's attractions are quite spread out across several areas, so you can plan your route based on your time and preferences! · Yunhe Terraces: The largest terrace complex in East China! Be sure to catch the sunrise and the sea of clouds. For a relaxing experience, stay at a mountain homestay where you can see the terraces right from your door—the visual impact is stunning. · Jinyun Xiandu: A 5A scenic area where many period dramas are filmed, giving it an ethereal vibe. Don't miss Dinghu Peak and the popular morning scene at Zhutan Mountain featuring an old farmer leading a cow through the mist. · Guyan Huaxiang: The Oujiang River divides this area into Guyan and Huaxiang, which are connected by boat. It has a strong artistic vibe, and you'll often see people sketching. It's perfect for a leisurely day of exploring. · Songyang Ancient Village Cluster: A well-preserved collection of ancient villages in East China. There are over 70 villages, and most don't require an admission ticket! Yangjiatang Village is known as the "Golden Potala Palace," and there's even a Librairie Avant-Garde on a cliff. Every shot is Instagram-worthy. 🍜 Don't miss the local delicacies Every part of Lishui has its own specialty snacks that you must try: · Jinyun Shaobing: Crispy crust with a savory filling of preserved vegetables and pork. You can smell the aroma from far away · Lishui Paojingrou (deep-fried lean meat): A local specialty snack. The meat is firm, fragrant, and crispy · Suichang spicy ribs: Sweet and spicy, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. They go perfectly with rice · Lishui stream fish: Small fish from the Oujiang River. The meat is fresh and tender, and there are many ways to prepare them · Lishui Paofan (rice soup): A common home-cooked meal for locals. Leftover rice is boiled with vegetables and minced meat—simple and comforting 🏨 How to choose accommodation Choose where to stay based on your itinerary's focus. Here's a breakdown: · Lishui city center: Convenient transportation with plenty of dining and accommodation options. It's a great starting or ending point for your trip. I recommend staying near Wandi Plaza. · Yunhe Terraces: If your goal is to see the sunrise and sea of clouds, choose a mountain homestay where you can wake up to terrace views. · Guyan Huaxiang: Riverside homestays are the top choice. Falling asleep to the sound of the Oujiang River at night is a wonderful experience. · Songyang: If you want to experience the quiet atmosphere of ancient villages, stay at a homestay right inside one of the villages. 🗺️ Suggested itinerary ▫️3-day short trip Day 1: Arrive in Lishui > Visit Guyan Huaxiang, stay in Huaxiang Day 2: Visit Jinyun Xiandu, depart for Yunhe Terraces in the afternoon, stay at a terrace homestay Day 3: Wake up early for the terrace sunrise > Return in the afternoon ▫️4-day relaxed trip Day 1: Arrive in Lishui > Visit Guyan Huaxiang, stay in the city Day 2: Visit Jinyun Xiandu, stay in Xiandu Day 3: Head to Yunhe Terraces, stay at a mountain homestay Day 4: Wake up early for the terrace sunrise > Visit Songyang ancient villages on the way back in the afternoon > Return

Songyang Mountain Road Trip | Fit Jiangnan's Ancient Villages into Your Weekend — traveler post in Songyang

Songyang Mountain Road Trip | Fit Jiangnan's Ancient Villages into Your Weekend

Disconnect from the city's hustle and bustle for a while and dive into the rolling green mountains of Songyang ⛰️ Drive along the winding mountain roads, with clouds clinging to the ridges and yellow mud houses hidden among the sea of trees. No plans, no itinerary—following your heart is what matters most! Day 1: Chenjiapu Village | Tanghou Village ▪️Chenjiapu is an ancient village suspended in the clouds on the edge of a cliff ☁️ The rammed-earth houses are stacked layer by layer along the mountain, looking well-arranged from a distance~ You must visit the Librairie Avant-Garde. The space, converted from an old auditorium, has a unique atmosphere. Huge glass windows frame the boundless mountain scenery. Hold a cup of coffee and listen to the wind in the valley 🫧 The winding alleys are perfect for photos no matter where you walk 📸 ▪️Head over to the nearby Tanghou Village, which has a completely different vibe from the artistic feel of Chenjiapu~ It is less commercialized and quiet enough to hear the birds chirping 🐦 Ming and Qing dynasty houses, ancient ancestral halls, and moss-covered stone paths offer an authentic mountain living experience 🍂 You can also follow a guide for a traditional Chinese herbal medicine identification experience, identify local herbs in the surrounding mountains, and listen to locals tell stories about the mountain plants, immersing yourself in the fun of wild herbs 🌿 When the sunset washes over the mud walls, the whole village becomes soft~ Stay overnight in a mountain homestay and fall asleep to the sound of insects 🌙 Day 2: Songzhuang Village | Songyang Old Street ▪️Start your morning by heading to Songzhuang Village, a gentle ancient village hidden in the valley 💧 A stream runs through the village, and the iconic stone arch bridge stands quietly over it, covered in moss. The old houses on both banks are built along the water, just like the Jiangnan scenery captured by National Geographic~ Take a slow walk along the stream, listening to the murmuring water. It's ancient, leisurely, quiet, and healing 😌 The image of a little girl walking on the ancient bridge is just so beautiful~ ▪️In the afternoon, head to Songyang Old Street, known as a living "Along the River During the Qingming Festival" 🏮 The old street paved with bluestone is lined with old shops—blacksmiths, traditional pharmacies, and snack shops are bustling with life, and locals still go about their daily lives here~ There is a traditional tea-making experience in the old street where you can try your hand at the traditional stir-frying process and smell the tea fragrance filling the room 🍵 When you're tired of walking, just find a small shop, taste some local snacks, and experience the authentic atmosphere of the old town 🤤 🚗 After completing the Songyang loop, I feel even more that the Li Auto L6 is perfect for this kind of mountain road trip~ There are many curves entering the mountains, but the chassis vibration absorption is gentle, and cornering is stable, so driving on winding mountain roads for a long time isn't tiring. Turning on the assisted driving for long distances makes the journey much easier ✨ The extended-range system eliminates range anxiety, allowing me to travel between scattered ancient villages with a full tank and full charge~ The interior space is spacious, fitting backpacks and personal items, and the in-car refrigerator keeps cold drinks ready at any time 🧊 The 5-zone air conditioning takes care of the whole car~ The benefit of a self-driving trip is that you control the pace completely. You can stop wherever you want and stay as long as you like. This is the most comfortable way to explore ancient villages 💯 ✨ Tips ▪️Most ancient villages are free to enter. It is recommended to book herbal and tea-making experiences in advance ▪️There are many stone steps in the ancient villages, so wear comfortable flat shoes. The temperature difference between morning and evening in the mountains is large, so bring a jacket ▪️Parking in Chenjiapu is limited. Pay attention to shuttle bus information. There are many curves on mountain roads, so slow down and drive carefully

CCTV never disappoints—this is exactly what I imagine the Lunar New Year to be like. — traveler post in Songyang

CCTV never disappoints—this is exactly what I imagine the Lunar New Year to be like.

📍Lishui Songyang – Chenjiapu Village An ancient village hidden on a cliff over 800 meters above sea level. Layers of rammed-earth houses are stacked along the mountain terrain, with red silk and lanterns decorating the dark-tiled, earthen walls. The cozy, lived-in atmosphere is truly palpable, so it is no wonder it is a favorite for cameras. Visiting Songyang in October, the autumn vibe in the mountains is just right. The wind carries the crisp, fresh scent of the wild, and many families are drying autumn crops on racks—this is the "shaiqiu" (sun-drying autumn harvest) scenery seen in the pictures. Afternoon sunlight spills over the valley, and as evening falls, warm lights turn on one by one, spreading across the scattered old houses, like stumbling into a warm scene from a memory. ✅Must-visit ▫️Librairie Avant-Garde: An internet-famous bookstore on a cliff. Outside the floor-to-ceiling windows are rolling mountains. Sit down and watch the clouds quietly. It is incredibly relaxing. ▫️Ancient village alleys: Stroll slowly along the stone steps. Every corner features old rammed-earth walls. It is very photogenic. ▫️Mountain viewing platform: Wait for the sunset. If you are lucky enough to catch a morning after rain, you might encounter a sea of clouds covering the mountains. 📌Travel tips The ancient village has free admission. On weekends, if driving, you usually need to go to the Zhaitou Transfer Center to take a shuttle bus up the mountain. If staying at a homestay in the village, you can register your license plate to drive directly up. The temperature on the mountain is lower than in the county town. Remember to bring a light jacket when going up in October. There are many unique homestays in the village converted from old houses. If you want to slow down and experience the night scenery of the ancient village, you can stay for a night. After dark, the village lights are quiet and gentle.

This is Songyang! My social media feed is blowing up with questions—the Yangtze River Delta's alternative to "Little Tibet"

🖐💬Hello~ I'm your travel scout 🙋‍♀️ · I can't believe I found this hidden gem in the Yangtze River Delta—I'm so good at finding these spots‼️‼️‼️ I originally just wanted to wander around the area, but I stumbled upon Shuangtong Mountain in Songyang, Lishui, and was immediately blown away by the Tibetan-style scenery! It was a surprise destination that wasn't even on my itinerary🚗 · You really don't need to go to Tibet or travel all the way to Western Sichuan! Hidden in the mountains of southern Zhejiang is an incredibly authentic Tibetan vibe. The lush green mountains paired with colorful prayer flags fluttering in the wind—it looks even better in person than in photos, and every shot is Instagram-worthy🎞️ · My favorite thing about this place: it's not tiring at all! While others were exhausted from hiking, we had a relaxing time the whole way. It's perfect for lazy travelers, beginners, couples, and families with kids. It's definitely a great spot for a getaway in the Yangtze River Delta for the Mid-Autumn Festival or National Day holidays🍃 · Standing on the high-altitude glass skywalk, feeling the mountain breeze, and looking out over the rolling valleys and forests—at that moment, it really felt like I was traveling far away. It's great value for money, and I had a blast🧡 ⭐️My personal, energy-saving route: Scenic Area Entrance (Shanye Cangyun Camp) → Flying Carpet → Lingbo Weibu Glass Bridge (Shanye Cangyun Camp) → Shuangtong Wentian Glass Skywalk (Cloud-top prayer flags) → Shuangtong Bridge → Lingyun Glass Plank Road → A Thread of Sky → Xiashan Fidu Zipline → Time Travel Glass Slide 📸Photo tips: ✔️Must-visit spot: The cloud-top prayer flags! Low-angle shots give off major Western Sichuan vibes ✔️The glass bridge and glass plank road make for high-end, scenic shots effortlessly ✔️Wear solid-colored, simple clothing for clean and beautiful photos 🧩Travel tips: 📍Address: Shuangtong Mountain Scenic Area, Yanxia Village, Shuinan Subdistrict, Songyang County, Lishui City 🚗Transportation: Driving is recommended! The road conditions are great, and parking at the scenic area is convenient 🖼Nearby: You can visit the ancient villages of Songyang along the way—perfect for a day trip ✨Reminder: It's quite windy on the mountain, so remember to bring a light jacket!

The Weaving Art Museum hidden in an ancient Songyang village | Weaving art in the mountains, a niche, healing experience — traveler post in Songyang

The Weaving Art Museum hidden in an ancient Songyang village | Weaving art in the mountains, a niche, healing experience

Many people come to Songyang just to visit the ancient villages, but they miss the treasure that is the "Weaving Art Museum" in Songzhuang Village. It's not one of those cold, pretentious galleries in big cities; instead, it blends local craftsmanship with modern art, quietly hidden among the mountains. It's incredibly photogenic! 📍Address: Songzhuang Village, Sandu Township, Songyang County, Lishui (the famous ancient village featured in National Geographic) ⏰Hours: Wed–Sun 9:30 AM–11:30 AM, 12:30 PM–6:00 PM (last entry at 5:00 PM); closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Check for holiday notices. 🎫Admission: Free! No reservation required, just walk in. 🚗Transportation: Driving is highly recommended. Search for "Weaving Art Museum" in your navigation app; there is a free parking lot at the village entrance. If taking the high-speed train, get off at Songyang Station and take a taxi (about 40 minutes). The mountain roads have many curves, so drive slowly. ✅Itinerary First, explore the main building of the museum, then stroll through Songzhuang Village. The architecture itself is the biggest highlight. The facade features two-tone aluminum louvers that look like a giant piece of fabric from a distance. Light and shadow pass through the grilles onto the walls, making every photo look like a high-end editorial shot. The exhibits inside are unique. They aren't solitary works by masters, but collaborative pieces created by artists and local villagers. Intangible cultural heritage crafts like bamboo weaving, palm weaving, and She ethnic ribbons are turned into installation art. You can see bamboo baskets woven by villagers and creations made from bamboo leaves—authentic yet stunning. After visiting the museum, walk down to the popular stone arch bridge in Songzhuang Village. With the stream babbling and old wooden houses built against the mountain, take a casual walk through the village to soak in the atmosphere of an authentic ancient village. 📸Best photo spots 1. The museum facade: Capture the light and shadow lines when the sun hits at an angle. 2. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the exhibition hall: Frame the mountain scenery in your shot. 3. The path outside the museum: Get the architecture and the mountains in the same frame. 🍜Food and accommodation There are several homestays and farm-style restaurants in the village. I recommend trying the stewed free-range chicken, dried bamboo shoots, and farmhouse tofu. For a deeper experience, stay overnight; the village is less crowded in the early morning, and the atmosphere is incredible. ⚠️Tips 1. Don't come on Monday or Tuesday! It's closed, and many tourists have made this mistake. 2. There are many curves on the mountain road. Be careful when passing other cars, and slow down if the road is wet from rain. 3. The museum isn't large; 1 hour is enough to see everything. Combine it with a visit to Songzhuang Village for a perfect half-day trip. 4. The museum is quiet. Please don't use flash when taking photos and respect the exhibits. 💡A note from the blogger: If you're tired of crowded tourist traps and prefer quiet, artistic, and niche places, the Weaving Art Museum is truly worth a visit. Art doesn't just belong in city galleries; the weaving skills in the hands of villagers in the mountains are just as moving. When you come to Songyang, don't miss this piece of mountain aesthetics!

These 5 hidden gems are perfect choices! — traveler post in Songyang

Explore ancient architecture during the day and take a walk by the river in the evening. The pace is slow—perfect for a laid-back National Day trip. 💡 Tips 1. Most spots are best reached by car, as there is some distance between attractions, giving you more freedom 2. There is a large temperature difference between day and night in the mountains, so remember to bring a light jacket 3. It is recommended to book your accommodation in advance for the National Day holiday, and visiting off-peak will yield better photos

Songyang Ancient Villages: A 2-Day Slow Travel Guide — traveler post in Songyang

Songyang Ancient Villages: A 2-Day Slow Travel Guide

Zhejiang Songyang | Avoid the crowds, a 2-day, 1-night slow travel guide to ancient villages, personally tested tips Just got back from Songyang. No massive crowds, no sky-high prices. This was a hidden gem I discovered on this off-the-beaten-path trip. Many online guides are vague. I've compiled the real pitfalls and money-saving tips here—if you're planning to visit, just follow this guide! 📍 Attractions ✅ Yangjiatang Village (free) Known as the "Golden Potala Palace," it features layers of rammed-earth houses. ⏰ Best time: 5:30–6:30 PM. When the sunset hits the walls, the whole village glows gold—perfect for photos. Don't miss the "couple" camphor trees at the village entrance and the observation deck. ⚠️ There are no convenience stores in the village, so bring water before heading up the mountain. ✅ Chenjiapu Village (free) An ancient village on a cliff, home to the Librairie Avant-Garde bookstore. ⏰ 7–9 AM after the rain is the best time to catch the sea of clouds. The mist wrapping around the mountains creates an incredible atmosphere. No reservation needed for the bookstore. The floor-to-ceiling windows face the mountains—perfect for just sitting and relaxing. ⚠️ During holidays, you must transfer to a shuttle bus to get up the mountain. Don't try to drive up yourself. ✅ Songyang Old Street (free) A living old street district where locals still reside. With old-fashioned blacksmith shops and century-old noodle restaurants, it's perfect for a leisurely 2-hour stroll. 🍜 Must-eat food ▫️ Baixian Noodle Restaurant: Handmade "water-pulled" noodles with a simple, authentic broth. A bowl costs just over 10 yuan, and it's a local favorite. ▫️ Shanfen dumplings: Chewy and soft, filled with dried bamboo shoots and meat—a local mountain specialty. ▫️ Farmhouse chicken soup: Eat this at restaurants in the county town. It's fresh and not greasy. Don't order it at mountain homestays; it's much more expensive there. 💡 Money-saving tip: Prioritize eating back in Songyang county town, as prices at mountain homestays are generally higher. 🚗 Transportation Take the high-speed train to Songyang Station. It's about a 20-minute taxi ride from the station to the county town. The ancient villages are scattered in the mountains, about a 10-minute drive apart. 👉 Public transport: There are rural buses from the county town, but they run infrequently and waiting takes time. 👉 Recommended: Rent an e-scooter in the county town for 80 yuan/day, or carpool to and from the villages. ⚠️ The mountain roads have many curves and can cause motion sickness, so remember to bring motion sickness medicine! ⚠️ Personally tested pitfalls & money-saving tips 1. Don't try to visit too many ancient villages at once. Limit it to 2 per day; the mountain roads are tiring. 2. The villages have many stone steps, so wear non-slip flat shoes. Forget about high heels. 3. There's a large temperature difference between day and night in the mountains. Even in autumn, bring a light jacket. 4. There are free tea-tasting stalls in the villages that will try to sell you tea. If you don't want to buy, just politely decline. If you want local specialties, buy them at shops in the county town for better prices. 5. Most ancient villages are free. Don't trust scalpers on the side of the road charging "entry fees." 6. Mobile signal is weak in some mountain areas, so download offline maps in advance. The overall pace is very relaxed, perfect for those wanting to escape the city and unwind without rushing.

Yangjiatang Village

The village is small and quite rustic, with initial signs of commercialization. It's worth a visit for photos, especially at sunset when the scattered ancient villages are accompanied by wisps of smoke rising from their chimneys – a truly beautiful sight. A word of caution: the village's pebbles are difficult to walk on, so wear appropriate shoes. Also, there's a 500-meter-long winding mountain road in and out of the village with extremely high oncoming traffic, making it quite challenging to drive. Traveling during the off-season is strongly recommended.

Chenjiapu Village

After visiting Yangjiatang Village, on the way back to the hotel, we made a special trip to Chenjiapu Village, known as "a utopia atop the clouds, an ancient village on a cliff." There's a Librairie Avant-Garde bookstore there, which is also quite nice.

Shuangtong Mountain Scenic Area

The ride was smooth and the scenery was beautiful. The magic carpet and glass slide were both very comfortable experiences. Feeling the breeze on the glass walkway was wonderful. The staff at the visitor center were very helpful and answered many of our questions.

Songzhuang Village

Songzhuang Village is relatively small. Its most distinctive feature is that there is a small stream in the village with an ancient stone arch bridge over the stream. As it is not very famous, there are not many tourists in the village. There are also very few residents in the village, with only a few elderly people. It is very quiet and not much developed, so it is quite pristine.

Ruoliao Primitive Forest Scenic Area

The well-protected forest area has gurgling water and streams flowing down the mountain road. There are many waterfalls along the way, and the shady side is also cool. According to the introduction of the scenic area, there are many protected animals and plants, but of course I didn't encounter any animals on this trip.

Ancient Weir Home of Painting

Guyan Huaxiang has a quiet atmosphere, and it's quite pleasant to stroll along the river. There aren't many shops, so you can take your time to explore without rushing. A 15-minute round trip boat ride costs 40 yuan per person, which is a decent experience and a nice way to leisurely enjoy the river view.

Youtian Village

⛰️A 600-year-old ancient village located about 10 minutes drive up from Yangjiatang. The village is full of aboriginals. The village is very simple and has not been commercialized at all. It is recommended to come here if you like traditional Chinese villages. 🏠There is a "Youtian Huakai" B&B in the village. The B&B is very niche, cost-effective, and the service is quite considerate. The B&B is also equipped with a restaurant and a cafe, which meets my life needs. I have to recommend his coffee and dishes to everyone again. The taste is very authentic! There is no additives in the restaurant outside! 🚗The transportation is also convenient. I drove here this time. It is only a 10-minute drive from Yangjiatang. The mountain road is also relatively wide, and there is no problem for female drivers. There are also parking lots and charging piles in the village. I have to say that this small village is really too humane! BBs who can't drive can choose to take a taxi after arriving in Songyang, which is about 30-40💰. 🌸In general, the scenery of the village is beautiful, but the village is not big. It is a small but beautiful existence. In the village, you can see villagers farming, clouds rolling, smoke curling, and a full atmosphere of life. It perfectly interprets the "countryside" in my heart. If I have time, I will come again, chat with the owner of the homestay, eat with the villagers, experience farming, listen to the cicadas and birds singing... It is a childhood memory and a piece of pure land in my heart!

Damushan Tea Garden

A very beautiful tea garden, quite large, and also the largest cycling tea garden in China. You can rent bicycles and mountain bikes at the entrance of the scenic area, or take a sightseeing bus to enter. There is also an artificial lake in the center of the tea garden, and a tea house with a good environment. The air is fresh.

xikeng village

It's a very small village. The scenery in front of Guoyunshanju is very good. But the study room of Guoyunshanju was closed on the day I went there, so I couldn't buy coffee. Later, I went to visit the small exhibition hall. The children had a lot of fun going up and down the houses. If you are interested, you can walk around the small waterfall further down. It takes about an hour to walk around slowly. Everyone thinks it feels good to walk around. You can take pictures of Chenjiapu Village at the entrance of the village.
