However, it was good that students didn't need to pay for tickets during the summer vacation, so it was still worth a visit. The beauty of Equan lies in its clarity and tranquility. The water is as translucent as jade, with swaying aquatic plants and frolicking fish, creating a natural landscape painting. In the morning mist, the entire area resembles a fairyland, while at dusk, the Fifteen-Arch Ancient Bridge becomes even more poetic under the setting sun, a paradise for photography enthusiasts.
This is a perfect place for a leisurely stroll. Take a bamboo raft across the lake, touch the cool spring water, and experience the purest rural charm. The nearby farmhouses also offer delicious and affordable delicacies such as spring-fed fish and yellow-skinned duck. Avoid the crowds (entrance is free before 7:30 AM or after 7:00 PM) and enjoy this tranquility all to yourself.
**In a nutshell**: Equan may be small, but its beauty is pure, making it the ideal escape from the hustle and bustle!”

小玩P燕:“The rafting entrance requires a 30-minute walk, which involves descending stairs. The rafting is relatively smooth, with a few small spots that give it a slight rafting feel, but the majority of the experience is paddling. We chose the free rafting option. Some of our group rowed their boats and got completely soaked, while others only got their feet slightly wet. Therefore, it's recommended to bring a change of clothes. After the rafting session, you'll need to walk up the stairs to the shuttle bus stop, which will take you to the parking lot. (Currently, the rafting session is over and the attractions are closed. Upon inquiry, we were told that the plank road is under maintenance, so you can only walk up the stairs back to the shuttle bus stop. If the repairs are complete, you can visit the attractions and then return directly to the shuttle bus stop.) You can leave your change of clothes in the car and change at the parking lot after the rafting session. There are cold showers in the changing rooms (the trip from the car park to the exit takes a total of 4 hours).”
