Food Guide

Anji's culinary delights showcase the region's uniqueness through the use of authentic raw materials and straightforward cooking techniques. Signature dishes such as aromatic dried bamboo shoot pork, succulent local chicken casserole, vibrant oil-braised bamboo shoots, and delectable chestnut pork, each emphasize the natural flavors and distinct local taste profiles of the ingredients.

Braised pork with dried bamboo shoots is a delectable dish made by stir-frying streaky pork with high-quality wild hairy bamboo shoots from Anji. The pork captures the subtle aroma of the bamboo shoots, while the bamboo shoots soak up the savory flavors of the pork, creating a wonderfully fragrant combination. As a high-fiber vegetable, hairy bamboo shoots also add a nutritious boost to this flavorful meal.

Chicken hotpot stands out as a signature dish in Anji, made with chickens that roam freely in bamboo forests. This method results in a broth that is not only crystal clear but also intensely flavorful and rich. The chicken, once stewed, sports a golden skin and offers a satisfying chewiness. Atop the broth, a thin layer of yellow oil adds a touch of richness without being greasy. The dish is a staple in many of the area's farmhouse-style restaurants.

Anji stewed bamboo shoots is a renowned dish from Anji, primarily prepared using fresh local bamboo shoots and a generous amount of oil, with minimal seasoning. After a brief stir-fry, the bamboo shoots are left to simmer in the pot, resulting in a dish with a bright appearance as well as a savory and fresh flavor that is simply delightful.

Anji's locally produced chestnuts are known for their soft, sticky texture and sweet flavor, making them an excellent choice for culinary dishes. This dish primarily involves cooking large chunks of pork alongside peeled chestnuts, employing the braising method typical of braised pork. The result is succulent, tender meat that is rich without being greasy. The chestnuts are then simmered with the meat until fully cooked, allowing the savory flavors of the pork to meld perfectly with the delicate sweetness of the chestnuts, resulting in an irresistibly tasty dish.

Anji travel guide and discussion

Heat-beating choices: Many visitors compare two flagship experiences—Sky Land (Yunshang Caoyuan/雲上草原) for cool high-altitude breezes and cliff‑edge thrills, versus Glory Sky City (榮耀天空之城) for glass drift, white‑sand beach vibes and all‑day water play. A common pick is mountain chill by day and sunset views at Sky Land, while groups and families who love getting soaked lean toward Glory Sky City. Bamboo therapy: The Anji Bamboo Sea (中國大竹海) is repeatedly praised for misty early mornings, shaded boardwalks and panoramic lookouts, delivering a calm, photogenic “green ocean” that stays noticeably cooler. For an easy cool-down hike, many also mention Canglong Baipu (藏龍百瀑), where creekside steps and cascading falls make a relaxed summer route. Queue-light family fun: The Panda Tribe Adventure Park (熊貓部落探險樂園) stands out for short lines and a one‑ticket, unlimited‑rides model, combining a 1,314‑meter mountain coaster, bamboo‑shaded drift, canopy trampolines and a gentle petting zone. Parents highlight it as a low‑stress alternative to big-name theme parks, especially on weekdays or early mornings. Practical basics: Most travelers self‑drive from Hangzhou in about 1–1.5 hours (Shanghai about 2–2.5), or take high‑speed rail to Anji/Huzhou then taxi, noting sites are spread out and mountain roads require unhurried driving. Common tips include going early or on weekdays to avoid queues, packing a light jacket for cool mountain nights, and bringing insect repellent; many also favor design‑led mountain minsu with private soaking tubs and simple local staples like bamboo chicken pot and Anji white tea.

Anji Girls' Trip | Soak in a hot spring in a courtyard with friends, stroll through the forest, and enjoy the mountain leisure

This was my first time planning a trip to the Anji mountains with a friend 🍃 We just wanted to find a place to escape the city, stay for two slow days, take some nice photos, and didn't plan a packed itinerary. After finding Fanyin, it felt like it perfectly matched the vibe we wanted. 🎋 The wooden cabins are hidden in a vast bamboo forest. Open the window and you see layers of mountains. The wind blows through the bamboo leaves, and it's so quiet. By the small waterfall in the courtyard, mist drifts nearby; just standing there for a photo makes for a soft image. There's also a terrace. At dusk, sit and wait for the sunset glow to wash over the mountain ridge—the light is perfect for photos. The thing I was looking forward to most was the private hot spring here ♨️ 🌿 Soaking in the hot spring pool, surrounded by mountains and forests, with only the sound of flowing water and bamboo leaves in my ears. After hiking in the mountains all day, coming back for a soak makes me feel completely relaxed. ✨ There's also a lake in the courtyard. The water is calm, and occasionally koi swim by. Taking a slow walk along the lake is perfect for sitting and chatting with friends. 🍽️ The homestay can arrange home-style meals; breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner can all be booked here. If you don't want to stay cooped up in your room, you can also have a barbecue or enjoy tea by the fire in the courtyard. The amenities are complete, including free parking, making it worry-free if you're driving here. If you're also coming with your besties, I've put together a relaxed, unhurried itinerary for your reference. ✨ Two-day itinerary Day 1 After arriving, head to the Deep Blue Project first. Stroll slowly by the lake, take some photos, and have a cup of coffee. At dusk, drive to the White Tea Viewing Platform and head up the mountain to wait for a tea garden sunset. For dinner, find a nearby farmhouse restaurant, try local dishes like stir-fried pork with dried bamboo shoots, and then return to the homestay to rest. Day 2 In the morning, go to the Zhejiang Museum of Natural History; the fossil exhibition area is worth taking your time to see. Have a simple lunch nearby. In the afternoon, go to Yucun Village, rent a bike to ride along the small paths, enjoy the mountain scenery, and head back when it's time. This place is perfect for a trip where you don't need to rush. Just walking around the homestay and feeling the mountain breeze is relaxing enough.

After a few autumn rains — traveler post in Anji

After a few autumn rains

moist mist slowly rises between the valleys. The entire bamboo forest is gently wrapped in soft mist. Avoid the crowded, popular tourist spots. I've discovered this scenic driving loop hidden among the mountains, a "road to the clouds." Driving slowly along the winding mountain roads, the clouds drift right beside your car window 🚗. Passing through canyons, lakeside areas, and ancient mountain villages along the way, you can take in the gentle beauty of the wilderness. Golden leaves cover the roads, and any snapshot taken on the mountain paths during the day is very photogenic 🍂. 🚗 Complete navigation sequence Yunshang Courtyard Restaurant ➠ Xianlong Gorge Rafting ➠ Luniao Mountain (Sixi Entrance) ➠ Yunxia Lakeside ➠ Shanyuchuan ➠ Jingkongli Grand Canyon ➠ Zheshiling Village ➠ Jiumu Village ➠ Uncle Grape's Cat Cafe ➠ Yu Village ➠ Jiangnan Tianchi ➠ Baishui Bay ➠ Bamboo Impression Museum ➠ Henglu Tunnel ➠ Yu Village Cable Car Upper Station 📍 Photo spots ✅ Yunxia Lakeside A window view worth the trip. It's like a natural frame capturing the mountains, forests, and lake. The mist after the rain floats on the lake like a flowing watercolor painting. You can have a coffee and rest here while enjoying the lakeside view. Slow down and quietly feel the relaxation of the wilderness ☕️. ✅ Jiumu Village A high-altitude village in northern Zhejiang, reached by driving up the winding mountain road. The village stands quietly on a mountain plateau. After the rain, clouds surround the village, making it look like it's floating in the sky ☁️. Ancient houses, golden larches, and terraced fields create a natural, tranquil wilderness atmosphere. ✅ Uncle Grape's Cat Cafe An excellent pit stop for your journey 🐱 Pet-friendly. You can pet the cats and taste freshly baked bread from the kiln. Take a break from the long drive and soothe the fatigue of the winding mountain roads. 💡 Driving & photography tips ☁️ Best time: Early autumn, after the rain clears, when the valley mist is thickest. This is the soul of this "road to the clouds" ☁️. 🛣️ There are many curves on the mountain roads, and the surface can be slippery, so be sure to slow down and drive carefully ⚠️. 📸 Drone photography: Check local regulations for drone flights in mountainous areas before taking off. 🧥 Temperatures are lower in high-altitude areas, so keep a jacket with you. ⛽ Fill up on gas and charge your battery before heading up the mountain, as there are few supply stations in the mountains.

Anji 2-day ginkgo viewing guide | Winter limited edition for Nov–Dec, see golden ancient ginkgo trees — traveler post in Anji

Anji 2-day ginkgo viewing guide | Winter limited edition for Nov–Dec, see golden ancient ginkgo trees

If you want to avoid crowds while enjoying autumn colors, you must head to Anji in Nov–Dec! Mountains full of golden ancient ginkgo trees, paired with bamboo forests and villages, create the perfect vibe. Just follow this guide. ⏰Pre-trip preparation at a glance ✅Best viewing time: Mid-to-late Nov to early Dec is the golden period for Anji ginkgo; it's affected by temperature every year, so the cycle is short, about 20 days. On sunny days, the light is soft before 10:00 AM and after 3:00 PM, which is best for photos; cloudy days have a natural soft filter and are less likely to overexpose. ✅Transportation · Long-distance: Take the high-speed train to Anji Station; driving is the top choice for those in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai, reachable in about 2 hours from Shanghai/Hangzhou. · Local travel: Driving is highly recommended! Ginkgo spots are scattered across various villages, and public transport has few departures and long intervals; if you don't have a car, you can carpool or charter a car in the county, which costs 300–400 yuan per day. ✅Admission ticket info · Most ancient ginkgo villages are free (🆓) and do not require reservations. · Some supporting attractions (bamboo forests, ancient temples) have separate tickets, and some offer discounts for seniors/students, subject to on-site policies. ✅Accommodation advice · Mid-range budget: Choose homestays in Tianhuangping or Baofu Town. They are close to the ginkgo villages, offer mountain views right outside your window, and many have small courtyards and coffee areas, making them great for photos. · For convenience: Anji County (Dipu Subdistrict) has more dining and supermarket options, more affordable prices, and is about a 30-minute drive to various spots. · High-end option: Mountain view resort hotels, suitable for a quiet vacation. 📝Detailed itinerary (no backtracking, smooth route) 📍Day 1: Ancient ginkgo village check-in | Golden countryside slow-paced route · 9:00 AM Depart from Anji High-speed Railway Station/county, drive to Changxing Jieli Ancient Ginkgo Village (Anji section)/Dongling Ancient Ginkgo (popular local ginkgo villages in Anji). · 9:40 AM–11:30 AM Explore the ancient ginkgo groves. There are century-old ginkgo trees here with thick trunks, and the ground is covered with fallen ginkgo leaves. ✅Photo spot tips: Shoot upwards under ancient trees, capture fallen leaf paths, or pair old earthen walls with ginkgo trees. Hanfu or soft-style outfits look great here. The village is small, so take your time and don't rush. · 12:00 PM Lunch at a local farmhouse restaurant. Recommended: stewed free-range chicken, braised pork with dried bamboo shoots, local tofu, and scrambled eggs with Anji white tea—all are local home-style dishes. · 1:30 PM–3:30 PM Stop by the nearby outskirts of Canglong Baipu/Small Bamboo Sea Trail. If you're tired of looking at ginkgo trees, head into the bamboo forest for some fresh air; it's quiet, uncrowded, and has clear streams. 👉Alternative: If you don't like hiking, stay in the village, find a small white tea shop at the entrance, sit down, drink tea, and soak up the sun. · 4:00 PM–5:30 PM Wait for the golden hour with backlight to photograph the ginkgo trees again. Sunlight passing through the yellow leaves creates the best atmosphere. · 6:30 PM Return to your homestay/county, continue with local farmhouse dishes for dinner. Temperatures are low in the mountains at night, so get some rest early. 📍Day 2: Mountain leisure | White tea + niche viewpoints, easy return trip · 8:30 AM Depart after breakfast, head to the White Tea Viewing Platform. · 9:00 AM–11:00 AM Check in at the white tea mountain terraces. The layered tea fields paired with distant mountains offer a wide view, a completely different style from yesterday's ginkgo villages. · 11:30 AM Eat at a nearby farmhouse and try some white tea-related snacks. · 1:00 PM Choose one of two options: ✅For culture lovers: Lingfeng Temple. There are ancient ginkgo trees inside, and the temple is quiet, peaceful, and uncrowded. ✅For water and hiking lovers: Longwang Mountain shallows. It has gentle trails and is easy and relaxing. · 3:00 PM Pack up and head home. If you have time, you can buy souvenirs in the county on the way: Anji white tea, dried bamboo shoots, and mountain walnuts. 💰Budget reference (per person, self-driving version) · Transportation: Fuel + round-trip highway tolls for self-driving: 180–260 yuan; carpooling/chartering without a car: 150–200 yuan per person. · Accommodation: 200–500 yuan per night for a homestay (depending on your budget). · Dining: 240–350 yuan for 3 main meals + snacks over 2 days. · Admission tickets: Most ginkgo spots are free; if entering paid attractions, about 0–80 yuan. · Other: Souvenirs, milk tea, and snacks: 0–200 yuan. ✅Basic budget per person (excluding souvenirs): 650–1100 yuan. ⚠️Practical tips & pitfall guide 🚫Pitfall guide 1. The ginkgo viewing period is very short! Search for real-time conditions before you leave. A strong wind or temperature drop can cause all the leaves to fall, so don't travel blindly and risk disappointment. 2. Many farmhouse restaurants at village entrances will actively solicit customers. Ask about menu prices before sitting down to avoid overcharging at checkout. 3. Popular "influencer" ancient ginkgo tree spots are very busy. Crowds are large on weekend afternoons, so arrive early if you want photos without people. 4. Do not climb trees or shake trunks to make leaves fall for photos. Many ancient trees are protected, and you will be stopped. 🎒Gear list · Outfit: Off-white, khaki, caramel, and light brown clothes match ginkgo trees best. The temperature difference between day and night in the mountains is huge! It's over 10°C during the day and near 0°C at night, so a thick coat and scarf are essential. · Shoes: Paths with fallen leaves can be slippery, so wear non-slip sneakers. High heels are not recommended. · Other: Sunglasses, power bank, thermos, and a few Band-Aids. Signal in some mountain spots is weak, so download offline maps in advance. 📌Personal experience: Anji's ginkgo trees are not as concentrated as in Tengchong, but they win because the villages are authentic and not overly commercialized. Compared to crowded major attractions, stepping on fallen leaves and eating local farmhouse food here feels incredibly comfortable and slow-paced. If you want to see massive ginkgo forests, Anji is not the top choice. The most successful trend I've followed! The "Little New Zealand" of Zhejiang!

For the autumn break, I wanted to find somewhere nearby—somewhere not too crowded, but not just for lounging around either. I found the Anji Ancient City National Archaeological Site Park. With grasslands, rice paddies, and kochia plants, plus a high-quality special exhibition on bronze swords, and a convenient side trip to the Two Bombs, One Satellite Theme Park nearby, it was a comfortable, well-paced day trip perfect for taking photos and relaxing. 🚗 Transportation 🚘 Driving: About 2 hours from Ningbo, with beautiful autumn scenery along the way. 🚄 High-speed rail: Take a taxi from Anji Station, about 15 minutes to get there directly. 🎯 Activities 🌿 Large Lawn + Kochia Plants The park has an open view, with large patches of kochia plants paired with the King of Yue Mausoleum lawn, creating a perfect autumn atmosphere that really slows down time. Just take a slow walk along the paths; there's no need to hike. The soft afternoon light is perfect for photos. 🚄 Countryside Train Travels through rice paddies and across the lawns, about 15 minutes one way. Reference schedule: 9:30 AM / 10:30 AM / 2:30 PM / 3:30 PM It's recommended to ride in the morning or evening when the light is best for photos. 🐴 Pet Interaction You can feed animals at the Deer Park and Pony Ranch. No need to go to Inner Mongolia to get close to nature! You can redeem feed at the Yue Nong Market with your ticket. If you want to try outdoor horseback riding, it's recommended to book in advance. Riding on the grassland is also great for photos! 🗡️ Bronze Sword Special Exhibition (Highly Recommended) Location: Temporary Exhibition Hall, Anji Ancient City Ruins Museum Dates: Sept 28, 2026 – March 31, 2027 Theme: "Swords from the Wind," focusing on the 2,500-year-old intangible cultural heritage of ancient Yue bronze sword casting! Features real ancient bronze swords, forging tools, and weapon relics, combined with visuals that bring Wu-Yue history to life. The exhibition is well-curated and worth taking your time to see if you love history! (⚠️ Note: Closed on Mondays) 🚀 Two Bombs, One Satellite Theme Culture Park (Convenient Side Trip) Not far from the ruins park, it features an exhibition hall, a handprint wall of those who experienced the events, and a sculpture garden. You can learn about the stories of the older generation of researchers; it's worth a visit if you're interested in history or military topics. Don't miss the romantic pink muhly grass fields in autumn—walking through them feels like a fairy tale world, and they are super photogenic! 📌 Practical Tips ✅ The outdoor lawn is exposed, so bring a hat, sunscreen, and mosquito repellent. ✅ There is a large temperature difference between morning and evening, so bring a light windbreaker. ✅ Wear light or earth-toned clothing for better photos; avoid high heels as the field paths are uneven. ✅ If you plan to visit the Two Bombs, One Satellite base in depth, it's recommended to book in advance. ✨ Summary The Anji Ancient City Ruins Park is perfect for an autumn trip if you don't want to rush between attractions and enjoy a mix of nature and culture. Ride the little train through the rice paddies, see the bronze sword exhibition, and if you have time, stop by the Two Bombs, One Satellite base. The itinerary is relaxed, making it comfortable for families with children.

Great weekend water play destination in the Yangtze River Delta: Anji Fuyungu, a one-stop destination for rafting and water park fun

Looking for a place to play in the water this summer? I discovered this new paradise, Anji Fuyungu. It has a wide variety of activities, so both adults and children can find something they enjoy. The bundled accommodation packages offer great value, making it perfect for a weekend trip from the Yangtze River Delta. Attraction overview Located in the Anlan Lake Resort in Anji, Huzhou, Fuyungu is a comprehensive park combining rafting and a water park. The park features over 20 water activities, including thrilling slides for adults and a shallow rafting area specifically for children. Nearby attractions like the Bamboo Expo Garden and the Zhejiang Museum of Natural History can be combined into your itinerary. Photo spots 1. Century Rafting Bamboo Forest Section: Rafts pass through dawn redwood and bamboo forests. The light and shadows are soft, perfect for capturing rafting moments 2. Wuli Bay Wave Pool: Snap photos when the waves come; the open water creates a great atmosphere 3. Beside the Water Roller Coaster Track: Shoot upwards at the track and the blue sky for a dynamic shot 4. Children's Rafting Area: Colorful water play facilities, perfect for family photos Dining You can use dining vouchers at the park's Fengwei Restaurant, which serves local Anji farmhouse dishes, light meals, and snacks. There are plenty of convenience stores and snack stalls both inside and outside the park, offering a wide selection of grilled sausages, drinks, and light meals for quick refueling between water activities. Target audience & tips ✅ Suitable for: Families with children, friends traveling together, and short-trip travelers from the Yangtze River Delta ⚠️ Tips 1. The projects included in the package have specific usage scopes; check the package benefits carefully before booking 2. Water levels in the wave pool and rafting areas vary; ensure children are supervised at all times 3. Do not enter the water in non-designated areas; follow the instructions of on-site security staff 4. If bringing your own swim ring, check the park's regulations, as some inflatable equipment may not be allowed Itinerary | 2 days 1 night reference D1: Arrive in Anji by car or high-speed train from the Yangtze River Delta and check into the resort hotel. Enter the water park in the afternoon to experience the wave pool and various water slides; visit the Century Bamboo Forest Rafting in the evening. D2: Enjoy breakfast for two in the morning; optional hiking on the Wufeng Ancient Trail. If time permits, visit the nearby Anji Bamboo Expo Garden before heading home. Transportation 🚄 High-speed train: Take the train to Anji Station, then take a taxi for about 15 minutes to reach the resort 🚗 Driving: Search for "Anji Fuyungu" in your navigation app. The drive from the Yangtze River Delta takes 1.5–3 hours. The park provides free parking spaces Personal experience I visited Fuyungu with my family this weekend. The new park isn't too crowded, so there's no need for long waits. The Century Rafting goes through an entire bamboo forest, and the scenery changes along the way, making it very fun. There are many security posts in the park, and the staff responds promptly, which gave me peace of mind while playing with my kids. There are many water activities to choose from, allowing for both quiet drifting and thrilling slides, making for a fulfilling full day. Travel tips & precautions 1. Essentials: Swimsuit, non-slip sandals, towel, change of clothes, waterproof phone pouch, sunscreen. You can bring your own swim ring for children 2. Try to avoid the noon hours on hot days to prevent sunburn and heatstroke 3. There is an air-conditioned indoor rest area next to the storage area, and hot water showers are available on the second floor for washing up and changing after playing 4. The ticket package supports unlimited entry and exit on the same day, so you can leave to get food and re-enter 5. Follow safety instructions when using slides and wear protective gear as required Off-peak tips Weekdays are less crowded, and there is basically no need to queue for activities. On weekends, it is recommended to enter the park early and prioritize popular rafting activities. Summer afternoons are prone to sudden showers, so check the weather forecast before you go. Accommodation You can choose the mountain-view balcony room (king/twin) included in the package. The room has a balcony, and since it's located within the resort, you can head straight to the park without rushing back and forth. If you prefer other options, there are more hotels in Anji County with rich dining options, about a 20-minute taxi ride from the park. Outfit tips Wear quick-drying clothes and non-slip sandals. It is recommended to bring a dry change of clothes. Protect yourself from the sun when playing outdoors; hats and sun-protective clothing are recommended. Ticket recommendation The CNY 599 accommodation package includes one night in a mountain-view room, breakfast for two, and tickets for two for rafting + water park, as well as supporting activities like hiking and archery/frisbee. This package is a good choice if you plan to stay for one night. If you only plan to visit for a single day, you can purchase park tickets separately. 💬: In summer, I just want to find a comfortable place to play in the water. Fuyungu caters to the needs of both adults and children. When you play in the water in summer, do you prefer rafting or wave pools?

Sky Land International Mountain Tourism Resort

In early spring, go see the plum blossoms. The hillside is covered with plum trees, their blossoms a pure white, looking like a blanket of snow from afar. The air is filled with a delicate fragrance. The trail winds through the woods, and as you walk along, you're surrounded by branches laden with white flowers. A gust of wind blows, and petals fall, covering you completely—it's incredibly romantic. Under the plum trees, rapeseed flowers are planted, their golden blossoms contrasting beautifully with the white plum blossoms. Every photo you take will turn out great. There aren't many people, so you can stroll at your own pace. When you get tired, sit under a tree, open the snacks you brought, and enjoy them while admiring the flowers. A spring breeze blows, and petals fall onto the snack plate, carrying a faint fragrance. Even eating snacks becomes more enjoyable. After visiting the flowers, your clothes will still smell of them for days—a refreshing taste of early spring.

Sky Land

Sky land park is located 1130 m above sea level. The scenery is beautiful. Cable cars will take you there and down. There are electric scooters for rent (150 rmb for two hours, can be locked and parked and then unlocked again.parking time is included into 2hrs) and bigger 4-6 seaters carts for rent as well. Small and basic glass bridge, bigger over the cliff bridge with a swing, three huge swings for 2 people , and 3 swings for one each. A lot of hanging cliff ladders (horizontal and vertical). Three types of sliding rides, karting, mini train, shooting and archery. A lot of stairs to go above and enjoy green mountains. Cafes and Family Mart convenience stores are available. I recommend a three day tickets that includes the entrance to 4 places (Skyland , Panda park, Rafting place nearby and one more attractions park), then you can enter Skyland and use cable cars for 3 days including all the rides there (some can be tried once though).

Hello Kitty Park

The park didn’t have a lot of people most of the rides were for small children with a 5 minute wait. In general, the park is very cute if you like hello Kitty and friends, you will enjoy spending a day at the park. It is definitely underrated. It needs a little bit of maintenance, but in general is a very cute park. They have special hello Kitty dishes and the staff are very nice. The shows are also cute. The meat and greet is free for the first 50 people after that you need to pay a fee of 80 Rmb to take a picture with the characters. Ask the staff for the character meet and greet schedule so you don’t miss out

Soaking in an outdoor hot spring in winter, with pools nestled in the woods surrounded by deciduous trees, their branches adorned with a thin layer of frost, is incredibly relaxing. Soaking in the warm water, with your face and head exposed to the cool air, feels refreshingly comfortable – a unique contrast that's truly comforting. Each pool is spaced far apart, surrounded by trees, ensuring a quiet and undisturbed experience. After a short soak, you can sit on a rock by the pool, sip the complimentary hot tea from the owner to soothe your throat, and then return to the water. As darkness falls, the lights filter through the trees, creating a soft, atmospheric glow. After your soak, you feel completely relaxed, your skin smooth and supple, and all fatigue vanishes. This kind of wild hot spring in the woods is far more enchanting than any luxurious spa resort; you'll never forget it.

China Bamboo Expo Park

In winter, there are direct sightseeing buses to the scenic area to see the icefalls, so you don't have to walk too far. The icefalls hang solidly in the valley, and when the sunlight shines through, they become a beautiful bluish-green. The paths are covered with non-slip mats, so you don't have to worry about slipping. Villagers sell hot tea eggs by the roadside for three yuan each; they're warm and cozy in your hands. You can stroll around at your own pace, taking your time to take photos—it's not crowded at all. It's much more impressive than the pictures online. After walking around, you feel refreshed and invigorated—it's so relaxing!

Dazhuhai Tourist Area of China

It feels just average, can't be compared with Yixing Bamboo Sea. I went there just for its name, but there's nothing fun or nice to see. There was a heavy rain on the way there, otherwise I would have finished the tour in an hour. It just feels average.

In early summer, we went blueberry picking. The orchard was clean and weed-free. The blueberries grew on low branches, within easy reach. They were ripe, bluish-purple, and burst with sweet and sour juice when you bit into them. You could eat as many as you wanted in the orchard, and they were sold by weight after you picked them. The price was cheaper than in the supermarket. The kids picked and ate as they went, playing all afternoon without fussing. We picked a box and shared it with our colleagues. Everyone praised how fresh they were. It was much more fun and hassle-free than buying boxed blueberries.

Sky Land Ski Slope

In winter, you can build snowmen. The snow at the ski resort is fluffy, and the instructors will teach you how to create shapes, insert carrots, and wear scarves. Once you're done, you can take photos as you like, and they can even help you reshape it. After playing, you can go to the lounge for hot cocoa. The price is reasonable, and it's sweet and warming. You can spend an afternoon playing with your kids, and they'll laugh non-stop. It's much more fun than playing in the snow downstairs, and the experience is excellent. Both adults and children are happy, so it's definitely worth coming.

Tired of the rush hour crowds and the incessant clatter of keyboards in the office? It's time to venture into unfamiliar places. Travel doesn't have to be extravagant; simply stepping onto different soil and breathing different air is enough to feel comfortable. Find a roadside stall, sit down, listen to the lively, albeit incomprehensible, conversations of the people around you, and take a bite of freshly prepared local delicacies. Even your stomach will feel happy, and much of the stress you've accumulated will unknowingly dissipate.
