If you want to watch 'Splendid Age' (19:30~20:45), I suggest you reserve VIP seats at the ticket exchange near the Global Stage at the China Gate, which can be reserved for free with your ticket. If you are ever in Shenzhen, be sure to visit Wi dow of the world. Here you will see life-size (in most instances) replicas of the wonders of the world, among other world famous structures. The Pyramids of Giza are a beauty and to truly capture the moment of traveling to Egypt, a photo with the pet Camel is a must. Getting There - metro line 1 and 2 Attractions - a large-scale theme park designed to show the essence of world's culture and famous landmarks - Egyptian Pyramids, Taj Mahal Mausoleum, Leaning Tower of Pisa, Angkor Wat Cambodia etc. It is a nice place located in the heart of Shenzhen! Some landmarks look really realistic, that can give you some inspirations for traveling in China! There are also various shows throughout the whole day in different areas of the park, make sure you visit some of them (they are included in the price of the ticket). The entrance fee is about 220rmb. It's recommended to spend between 4 and 6 hours in the park and enjoy the views during the day and after the sun comes down. Shenzhen Folk Culture village is a large theme park located near to Window of the World and Baishizhou subway station. Touring this park takes about 2 hours. The park has several sections, the first section is a food, shops, souvenir, entertainment and games section. The second section is an art and light show area. The biggest section is a miniature village exhibition of famous chinese landmarks such as the great wall and beijing summer palaces. If you visit at night time (which i would highly recommend) most of the large art pieces will be lit up with multicoloured lights, which look stunning. Part of the miniature village is unavailable to walk around but you can still take a miniature train tour around the whole park, and see the China miniatures all lit up with lights, they also have some religious and cultural statues and other art pieces. Once you finish the tour you can get some food or play some games in the entertainment area of the park, there is a variety to choose from. There are some areas of the park dedicated to showing chinese history with staff dressed up in costumes and the buildings made to look like old China.
