Huguo Xihuachan Temple

Jiufeng Mountain Huguo Xihua Temple (Daben Mountain of Zenmen Linji Sect) is located in a valley about two kilometers west of Nanyinghou Village, Fumin County, Kunming City, Yunnan Province. It is the Yinghua Dojo of Medicine King Bodhisattva. In the eighth year of Emperor Kangxi (1669), the whole temple of Huguo Xihua Temple was built, with 18 patios in total. The halls include Daxiong Hall, Maitreya Hall, Guanyin Hall, wing, meditation hall, abbot's room, kitchen, warehouse and Putong Pagoda. There are more than 40 monks. The structure of the main hall is a palace-style building in the Ming Dynasty, with inch-shaped bucket arches and raised eaves, which are quite spectacular. Each tower has 5 pillars, also known as the five-legged landing, and there are more than 120 Zen houses (folk calculation), which is called Xihua Temple. Xihua Temple was burned down in the Qing Xiantong mutiny. After reconstruction, it was renamed Huguo Xihua Temple, still known as Jiufeng Mountain.
