The Former Site of the National Southwest Associated University

危亡之际，8000余爱国学子从四面八方—— 汇聚西南联大诞生170余位院士，8位“两弹一星”元勋，2位诺贝尔奖得主……只存在了8年零8个月的国立西南联合大学在抗日战争炮火的洗礼中，书写了中国近代高等教育史上的奇迹。

德华大学的校舍地处原火车站西南一带，面积很大，北起单县路、西至范县路，南至贵州路海滨，东至鱼台路。主教学楼位于南部，高两层，四坡斜屋顶，其后侧为大礼堂和图书馆。此外校区还包括北部的两栋学生宿舍，以及一座服务楼与一座住宅。

闻一多在昆明生活了八年，也曲折探索了八年，在西南联大，闻一多开设的是“楚辞”“诗经”“唐诗”等课程，还成立了新诗社，如同一把火焰，点燃了西南，烧遍了中华。

It was formed by the joint formation of Peking University, Tsinghua University and Nankai University. The three schools were initially moved to Hunan as Changsha Temporary University, and began classes on November 17, 1937. This date was later designated as the celebration of the University. With the advance of the sun, Changsha was critical, and the three schools moved to Kunming, Yunnan. Its former site is located in the 121st campus of Yunnan Normal University.

The former site of the Southwest United University, located on the campus of Yunnan Normal University, was merged by the Chinese people in the period of the Anti-Japanese War, and moved south to Kunming to the Tsinghua University and other three universities to insist on running schools. From here, we have cultivated the most important group of scientists who have made great contributions to the history of the new China's scientific and technological power and education.
