The wisdom of Emperor Hadrian was due to his inclination to do nothing in the course of his 21 years in power, but to devote all his energy to the development of the empire. His diligence was due to the fact that the emperor had traveled almost the entire territory of imperial rule. Hadrian's Wall was built entirely because he felt the threat of the Scottish Celtic after he arrived in England, and it took six years to mobilize three legions, from 122 to 127, to complete a 73-mile fortification.

Lei Castle (Wray Castle) is a Victorian neo-Gothic building on the west bank of Windermere Lake District. It is also the docking port of Windermere Lake cruise ships. The land includes part of the Windermere coastline, open year-round and is known for its selected specimen trees - Weilintong, mahogany, ginkgo, lime and various beech. We bought it because of freedom of the lake. Every pier to see. No disembark here. Shoot the exterior.

Lanercost Priory The restoration of this monastery building is unique and exquisite. It is worth taking a long time photo inside. The details are beautiful. The beams and pillars are also very artistic. The building is very beautiful. The bricks and tiles show the elegance and vicissitudes of history.

The Casserrig stone circle is free, self-driving cars can be parked on the side, and delicious ice cream can be tasted at the parking place. Stonehenge can only be seen on the outside, not inside. And the Casserrig stone circle can be entered inside and touched up close.

There are two castles on the way from the Lake District to Penrith. The Brougham Castle is more complete, and the ticket is5.6 pounds. The castle is a structure of the external city wall and the central tower. There are stairs to climb the tower to overlook the valley and the farm is beautiful. Penrith Castle is free in the park opposite Penrith Railway Station. The castle is relatively small, and it is worth a visit if it is on the way.

The remaining broken wall disappeared at the "end" of the road, and it was integrated into the sky for less than 20 minutes. We came to the fortress of Birdoswald Roman Fort . At this time, the museum was ready to close. We could not go in to visit. We turned around and looked at some of the remaining buildings and the stone foundations left after the destruction of the building.

Furness Abbey At present, only the ruins can be seen. From these magnificent and spectacular broken walls, you can see the glorious history of the past. The overall feeling is very good. The lawn is lush and not tired to walk. You can taste the beauty of its art in all directions...
