M14***43Hongshan Zoo is definitely worth a visit! The animals are relaxed and at ease, and you can witness their natural behaviors. The design is incredibly thoughtful, offering a truly immersive viewing experience, and the explanations are full of respect and care for life. There are no animal shows, yet the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. You could easily spend a whole day there without getting tired; it's truly a benchmark for zoos in China!

申花蓝色荣耀Zhongshan Scenic Area is quite large. We entered from Gate 3 of Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, passed Meishan Mountain and the Stone Elephant Road, then went to the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum Palace. After exiting, we continued walking to Meiling Palace. After visiting Meiling Palace, we took a sightseeing bus to Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, and then took another bus to Linggu Temple. The scenery in the scenic area is beautiful; the maple leaves are red in autumn, and the reflections in the water are very photogenic. There were many people on Wutong Avenue, all taking pictures. Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum is actually quite easy to climb; the steps are relatively low, and it only takes a few minutes to reach the top. The view from the top is particularly beautiful.

yxj003The Nanjing Museum effectively functions as the Jiangsu Provincial Museum. It is one of the earliest museums established in China, comprising a history hall, an art hall, a special exhibition hall, a digital hall, a Republican era hall, and an intangible cultural heritage hall. Admission is free and by reservation only; audio guides are available for a fee. The exhibition showcasing the Republican era is quite unique and unlike any other provincial museum I've seen.

两轮+四轮The fastest high-speed train from Shanghai takes 90 minutes, followed by a 10-minute subway ride from the station. It's near the Presidential Palace! The exhibition hall has three floors. Luckily, I happened to catch a free 2-hour guided tour by volunteers. There were adults, elementary school students, and middle school students. I learned a lot about the Six Dynasties and benefited greatly. There are also vending machines and shops on the first floor, some with special commemorative items!

yxj003The China Imperial Examination Museum is located east of the Confucius Temple in Nanjing, systematically showcasing the ancient Chinese imperial examination system and culture. Officially opened in 2017, it has been designated a National First-Class Museum and is the largest museum in China dedicated to the imperial examination system. Admission is 50 yuan, and the museum is divided into North and South sections. The North section is larger and contains the main exhibition area; a guided tour takes over an hour. The South section, representing the Jiangnan Examination Hall, is smaller and can be visited in about half an hour.

230***82A museum well worth a visit. Located in Chaotian Palace, the site is the most complete existing Ming and Qing dynasty official architectural complex in Jiangnan, carrying the echoes of 2,500 years of history since the Spring and Autumn Period. Originally built during the Hongwu reign of the Ming dynasty and rebuilt in the fifth year of the Tongzhi reign of the Qing dynasty, the ancient architectural complex faces south, with the Confucian Temple in the center, the prefectural school on the east, and the government offices on the west, its layout rigorous and its atmosphere solemn. The finest cultural relics are housed in the hall to the left of the Chong Sheng Hall. The museum displays a dazzling array of over 100,000 artifacts, telling the story of the elegance of the Six Dynasties and the splendor of the Ming dynasty. National treasures such as the blue-and-white porcelain plum vase depicting Xiao He chasing Han Xin and the jade belt with gold-inlaid cloud and dragon patterns are breathtaking. In the exhibition hall, white porcelain relief vases, gold ornaments, and ancient costumes shimmer quietly under the lights, each piece a testament to time.

Darian0910Nanjing Happy Valley boasts six themed areas, suitable for families, couples, and friends. It offers a variety of exciting rides, including a flying roller coaster, Ferris wheel, and carousel, catering to different age groups. The park also features diverse food and snacks, and the nighttime shows and dazzling lights create a fantastic experience. With relatively reasonable queue times, friendly service, and high value for money, it's a worthwhile leisure park to visit in Nanjing.

M22***02The banks of Crescent Lake were packed with people, a vibrant display of autumn colors. This is arguably the best place in Nanjing to see autumn foliage. There's also a sycamore-lined avenue at the entrance, but parking is extremely difficult, and it costs 3 yuan for 15 minutes, which is quite expensive.

bin***21The park isn't very large, but it retains the characteristics of Jiangnan gardens, with pavilions and terraces creating a tranquil and harmonious atmosphere. There are also scheduled performances, perfect for theater lovers. In warmer weather, you can also explore the cultural and creative shops and the city's museums.
