    "It was December 1992, an hour by plane, even if you go to Shanghai, you can only go to Jiangsu halfway, but we have flown to Ulaanbaatar in just an hour, to the capital of Mongolia. Ulaanbaatar is no different from some cities in our northeast, with khaki walls, red tile roofs, plus fence walls, a living combination of Russian and northeastern three provincial buildings."
