Highlights: Located on the rolling hills of the Ozark Mountains, the Silver Dollar City theme park is a beautiful place to travel for the whole family. Here you can see live glass-blowing, iron-smithing and other handicraft performances, as well as the classic shark underwater barbecue restaurant. The park has been open to visitors since the 1880s, and it was named one of the top ten amusement parks in the world by Entertainment Today magazine. Combining past adventures with modern high-tech thrills, the park features more than 40 rides and attractions, including a family entertainment center, Fireman's Landing, which opened in 2015. There are also 60 unique stores, 12 restaurants, 40 daily live shows and more than 100 native craftsmen and artisans showcasing traditional American crafts, which are well worth a visit.
