    There's a direct Spring/Autumn flight from Shanghai to Takamatsu, and the bus takes you directly to Takamatsu Station and Takamatsu Port. The air is fresh, and the azure sky is refreshing. There's also a section of ancient city wall near Takamatsu Port, and there are regular small cruises to Naoshima and Shodoshima. Perfect for a budget-conscious traveler.
