Take the tram slowly to Yunokawa Onsen Station and check into the Kaiyo-tei Hotel in Heiseikan. Tomorrow we'll be leaving Hakodate; it's just a 10-minute bus ride from the hotel entrance to the airport. Yunokawa Onsen boasts a 400-year history, and legend has it that it's been a place where villagers and travelers have traditionally sought healing and relaxation. During the late Edo period, former Shogunate soldiers like Enomoto Takeaki and Shikata Toshizo came to the hot springs to bathe and heal their wounds during the Battle of Hakodate. Kaiyo-tei is a very large restaurant with both red and clear hot springs, both saline springs. It's very comfortable, and the salt content has a slight antibacterial effect. Dinner will be at Shiosō-tei across the street, a buffet; both the window views and the food are beautiful.

I bought a one-day ticket for the Jodetsu bus and day-return hot springs, which includes unlimited rides on the Jodetsu bus (including the Kappa bus, which can be boarded without reservation as long as there is a seat) and a ticket to either Jozankei or Hoheikyo Hot Springs. Hoheikyo Hot Springs is the last stop on the bus, and from here you can also choose to hike to the Hoheikyo Reservoir above for a tour. This hot spring is very popular in Japan, because it features an open-air bath. It smells like the iron spring water is of suitable temperature. It is so pleasant to soak in the hot spring, look at the exquisite garden scenery, and then look at the distant mountain scenery. After soaking in the hot spring, you can also enjoy the curry dishes in the restaurant downstairs, which are made by Indian chefs. There were a lot of people queuing up and we had to catch the bus, so I was a little disappointed that I didn't eat it.

Tokachigawa Hot Spring in Hokkaido is a famous hot spring attraction. They have a rare hot spring itinerary, but due to the low climate, wind direction, and temperature take-off rate (compared to other countries with hot springs), if there is a day Don’t miss it if you encounter something that can fly! I was canceled due to rain... In Hokkaido in winter, there are only all-you-can-eat hot springs and all-you-can-eat snow paddling (a paradise for those who know how to paddle in the snow)~

Sand Soup Hot Spring is a crater lake, so even the gravel by the lake is hot. There are many chairs for tourists to soak their feet in Sand Soup Hot Spring, and there is a hot spring pool next to it for washing feet, all free of charge.
