Historically, the Iron Bridge was the first suspension bridge in Europe and was originally built with funds raised by a private association. It witnessed the industrialization process of Frankfurt and experienced important historical events including destruction during World War II and reconstruction in 1946. From the bridge, you can enjoy Frankfurt's iconic buildings, such as the Main Tower and the Commerzbank Building. It is an excellent place to view the "Manhattan-style" skyline. _TS***1gLocated in the lovely German Rüdesheim, the Drosselgasse is a small street in a traditional wine growing town. you can shop, dine at the many traditional wineries or even stay in hotels right there. it has a nice tradition vibe with lots to do around including visiting castles or taking the cable car up to the adjacent mountain with the monument on the unification of Germany.
