Amy motherIt is worth going. Buy tickets in advance. If you cannot make an appointment for a suitable time slot, choose the VR project and the entry time is not restricted. Three people must pay at least one VR fee.

Anonymous userThe oil painting collection of the Hamburger Kunsthalle is worth visiting. The lifelike figures, unique style of depicting natural landscapes, and religious story-themed oil paintings are fascinating. I highly recommend friends who like art to visit.

Richardo gauakqThis museum provides an excellent explanation about how the warehousing district evolved as a result of the unification of Germany under Bismarck, after which Hamburg was no longer a Free City therefore warehousing had to be concentrated within the Free Port. There are English explanations of each exhibit, which are shorter than those in German, however they are sufficient to understand what the museum is about. More detailed explanations in English are available on demand.

shredaI’ve been in Hamburg a few times and every time I came to the same conclusion: it’s a cold, wet and unfriendly city. It’s probably just me, but if you like friendly and sunny places and enjoy the outdoors, Hamburg is most likely not for you (and me).

Richardo gauakqViews are pretty awesome, and a stunning piece of architecture to say the least.. You can walk all the way around the observation plaza, so 360 degree views across the Hafencity, Port and beyond! It's free entry up to the first plaza, it has toilets, shop and a restaurant, so some great facilities if your unsure if it's worth the trip. A great little place to take some pictures if your on a budget, want to kill some time or just love ships and dockland. You might also be able to catch an orchestral view 😉. Recommended.
