[August Xizhou Ancient Town: In the rice fields and Bai customs, meet the romance of summer] August Xizhou Ancient Town is a treasure land filled with greenery and fireworks! Less than half an hour's drive from the ancient city of Dali, just got off the bus and was surprised by the endless rice fields at the entrance of the village. The green rice waves undulating with the wind, and some egrets passed by. The blue sky and white clouds lined the white tiles and white walls of the Bai people's houses. No wonder everyone runs here with their cameras. Time in the ancient town is very slow. The stone road is winding and twisting, and there are intact Bai old houses on both sides. The darts and the carved doors and windows are all exquisite. Walking in is like breaking into the time museum. The key point is to praise the Yanjia Courtyard, not only to see the exquisiteness of Bai architecture, but also to understand the history of Xizhou business gangs. The pomegranate trees in the yard are full of fruits, especially the atmosphere of life. In August, just in time for the local fruit peak season! The roadside stalls are full of yellow figs, sweet grapes, and freshly picked blueberries, affordable and fresh. Of course, Xizhou is indispensable. It is recommended to bake sweet mouths (rose filling) and salted mouths (pork end), the outer skin is crispy and the inner is soft, with a cup of milk fan Shaqima, and the carbide is happy to be directly full. I found a small shop by the river and sat down to eat, watched the flowing water, listened to the locals chatting in dialect. It's so pleasant. In the afternoon, you can rent a bicycle to ride along the rice fields, blow the wind through the fields, pass the villagers' vegetable fields and ponds, and feel the most simple pastoral scenery. In the evening, the light on the edge of the rice field became soft, taking pictures with filters, and many newcomers took wedding photos here, which was very romantic. The only thing to note is that it is a bit sun-dried in the afternoon of August, remember to do a good job of sun protection; there are a little more tourists on the main street of the ancient town, but you can find a cleanliness when you turn into the alley, suitable for slowly shaking. Overall, Xizhou does not have the hustle and bustle of Dali Ancient City, but has more idyllic and humanistic heritage. Come here in August, like putting the beauty of the whole summer in your hands, recommend it to friends who want to slow down and feel Dali ~

I'd previously tried Sentosa Island in Singapore, and since I was in Dali this time and there was a go-kart racing event, I decided to check it out. They're two different experiences; Singapore focuses on thrills and excitement, while Dali's appeal lies in its beautiful scenery. Therefore, they can't be compared directly. However, Yunxiang Mountain truly offers unparalleled views. The entrance overlooking Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain, shrouded in mist, is like a fairyland. It seems like the best spot to watch the sunset, but unfortunately, the timing wasn't right, and I missed it. In summary, Yunxiang Mountain is a scenic spot that Dali has developed in the last two years, suitable for camping, watching the sunset, and go-karting. I hope it won't be overly commercialized and ruin this beautiful place.

Feeding the small animals in the Cute Pet Park was very interesting. It felt like New Zealand. It was so beautiful. The children loved it! We didn’t go to any other places except the Cute Pet Park. The tickets for the non-powered park were a bit expensive, so we didn’t go.

Stepping into the Sea Tongue Ecological Park is like breaking into a forgotten wonderland. It is located on the west bank of the Bohai Sea, a long and narrow peninsula that extends into the Bohai Sea, shaped like a smart tongue. Large areas of trees on the island grow freely, and long grass swaying with the wind, as if telling the story of belonging here alone. Along the windy path, the outline of the Bohai Sea gradually cleared. The lake was clear blue, and the sun was shining and sparkling. The mountains in the distance are continuous, and the Bohai Sea is against each other, forming a beautiful landscape picture. Everything here is full of original ecological taste, there is no too much artificial carving, some are just the purest appearance of nature, walking in it, the body and mind have been greatly healed.

My first impression of Erhai Park was a perfect blend of vastness and tranquility. Standing on the observation deck, Erhai Lake resembles a vast blue mirror, reflecting the snow-capped peaks of Cangshan Mountain. A gentle breeze shimmers the waters, instantly making me forget the hustle and bustle of the city. Highlights: - Lake and Mountain Scenery: The water is crystal clear, and the distant mountains are sharply defined, making photos filter-free. - Ecological Environment: The lakeside trail is well-maintained, with abundant vegetation and the occasional sight of water birds. - Cultural Atmosphere: Bai-style architecture and sculptures dot the park, reflecting local characteristics. Practical Information: - Suggested Visit Time: 2-3 hours - Best Time: Early morning or evening, avoiding the midday sun. - Transportation: A taxi from the city takes about 15 minutes, or you can rent an electric scooter to circle the lake. - Precautions: Ultraviolet rays are strong on the plateau, so remember to wear sunscreen. The lakeside winds are strong, and the temperature fluctuates greatly between morning and evening. Trip Tips: Start with a panoramic view from the observation deck, then stroll along the lake, and finally visit the Bai Cultural Area to learn about local history. If you have more time, renting an electric scooter and circling Erhai Lake offers a more complete experience. Overall, Erhai Park is a must-see attraction in Dali. Not only does it offer stunning views of the lake and mountains, but it also offers a rich cultural atmosphere. It's a perfect place for all kinds of tourists to relax and take photos.

I went to Dali Cangshan Botanical Garden, and I was really crying. As soon as I entered the park, all kinds of strange flowers and plants that were not named were in sight. The air was full of the fragrance of plants. The meaty area was absolutely amazing. The meaty areas were arranged like artworks, and you can make a film with any shot. There are also cute little animals to feed, lambs and rabbits are super relatives 🐰 When you are tired, find a shade to sit down, listen to the birdsong, and enjoy a moment of tranquility. This trip is really worth it, I highly recommend everyone to come!

A newly developed scenic spot, suitable for parent-child activities. There is a large lawn on the top of the mountain, and the buildings are also very distinctive, which is good for taking photos. There is also Luji Park on the top of the mountain, where you can take a cable car, but the price is not cheap. After you go down, you can take the cable car back for free. If the wind is strong, take the scenic sightseeing bus back to the top of the mountain.

Jianchuan's tourism resources emphasize both historical culture and natural landscapes: Jianchuan Ancient City: Founded in the Yuan Dynasty, it retains a large number of Ming and Qing Dynasty buildings. Over 90% of the residences are in the Bai ethnic style, featuring the "three courtyards and one screen wall" or "four courtyards and five patios" layout. The ancient building complex on Ximen Street is a national key cultural relics protection unit. Visitors can stroll along the bluestone alleys and experience intangible cultural heritage such as the worship of local deities and Jianchuan wood carving. Shibaoshan Scenic Area: Famous for its Danxia landforms and grotto art, the Shibaoshan Grottoes are hailed as "Southern Treasures," masterpieces of carving from the Nanzhao and Dali Kingdoms periods. Every year from February to August in the lunar calendar, the Shibaoshan Song Festival is held here, where visitors can listen to Bai folk songs and experience traditional festivals. Shaxi Ancient Town: A well-preserved market town on the Ancient Tea Horse Road, with attractions such as Sideng Street, the Sifang Street Ancient Stage, and Yujin Bridge exuding a rustic charm. We recommend taking a stroll across Yujin Bridge at dusk to enjoy a panoramic sunset. Qianshi Mountain: Named for its more than 3,000 stone lion sculptures, visitors can climb the mountain to admire the uniquely shaped lions and experience the tranquil mountain forest praised by Xu Xiake. Jian Lake: A highland wetland, it is a habitat for black-necked cranes in winter. Cycling around the lake or camping offers a chance to enjoy natural peace and quiet.

You must go to the Ocean World when you come to Dali! Once you enter, it's like falling into a blue fairy tale, with marine life everywhere, cute and wonderful. The mermaid and dolphin performances are amazing, with agile postures and super interesting interactions. There is also a super beautiful jellyfish palace, which is breathtakingly beautiful under the lights. I wandered there for a long time. It was not only fun, but I also learned a lot of marine knowledge. It's really worth it. Don't miss it when you come to Dali!
