Moda Center

Moda Center officially opened in the fall of 1995. As a basketball arena, it can accommodate 19,980 spectators and features 650 televisions throughout the arena to help fans keep track of the game. The middle level of the arena consists of 70 suites, each accommodating 22 people. A special sound control system is suspended from the ceiling. During games, it reflects crowd noise back into the arena to create a more intense atmosphere. During concerts, the angle of the reflectors on the system can be adjusted to absorb excess noise, ensuring high-quality sound propagation throughout the venue. The arena features an outstanding design that combines high-quality facilities with high-tech equipment.

Oregon Zoo

Oregon Zoo was formerly known as the Washington Park Zoo. The zoo is located 3.2 km southwest of downtown Portland and is situated within Washington Park in Portland,and is adjacent to the International Rose Test Garden. Since its inception in 1887, the zoo has grown to over 60 acres and is one of the oldest zoos west of the Mississippi River.

Washington Park

Washington Park is a Portland attraction situated on a hill on the west side. It houses the world-famous International Rose Test Garden, a hybrid of a rose origin site and an experimental farm. It frequently cultivates precious new and improved rose varieties, making it quite charming for gardening enthusiasts. The garden contains over 500 rose varieties and more than 10,000 rose bushes. From mid-May to November each year, the roses are in full bloom, which is truly stunning. The tiles embedded in the walkways throughout the park feature the autographs of every Rose Queen from 1907 to the present, which makes many visitors stop to admire them. Portland Japanese Garden

The Portland Japanese Garden is a 5.5-acre traditional Japanese garden nestled in Washington Park. The garden was opened to the public in 1967. The Portland Garden combines Western forms and Japanese elements very well. Traditionally designed, gardens generally contain three elements representing the earth: stone represents mountains and islands, water represents center and purity, and plants represent color and growth. These themes are evident in the Portland Japanese Garden. The Japanese Garden focuses more on the sophistication and beauty of gardening. You can see redwood trees from the West Coast of the United States and plants with Japanese characteristics. Of course, you can see small waterfalls and water flowing between rocks everywhere. The Portland Japanese Garden is a masterpiece of Japanese gardens outside of Japan. It also holds some activities and cultural festivals every year, attracting more than 200,000 tourists almost every year.
