Things to do in Shiquan

There was no particularly difficult part of the walk from the bus up to the lake, suitable for both the elderly and children. The scenery along the way was too messy, and there was nothing particularly interesting. The fishing tools I bought at the scenic spot were probably too cold, so there were very few fish. The water was very deep where there were fish, so the children didn't experience the fun of fishing. They came in empty-handed and came out empty-handed.

Shiquan Ancient Street is a stone-paved ancient street in Shiquan County, close to the Han River, with a long history. The well-preserved East Gate and West Gate, as well as the rebuilt South Gate, make people feel like they have traveled back to ancient times. Walking on the ancient street, you can feel the strong historical atmosphere. The food on Shiquan Ancient Street is mouth-watering, especially the inflated steamed bun, which is crispy on the outside and soft and crispy on the inside. It is a unique delicacy in Shiquan Old Street. Tasting these delicacies will undoubtedly add a unique fun to the trip. Shiquan Old Street is brightly lit at night, and the big red lanterns under the eaves illuminate the entire street, creating a warm and romantic atmosphere. The Shiguo Fish Restaurant is very lively and is a good place to taste local food and enjoy nightlife.

After thousands of years, the natural karst cave is still alive. It is not big and suitable for the elderly and children. You can also go down to the river to pick up stones, and you can also take a walk in the nearby Iron Ancient Town.

The scenery is beautiful. The whole road is like a plank road. Be careful. It's quite tiring to go up and down. It's not suitable for the elderly. It takes 1.5 hours one way. It is recommended to take a car for the return trip. This year is dry and the water volume is not large. The final Yanshan Waterfall has too little water. I was disappointed. It is not as good as the scenery on the road.

Guiguling Mountain is nice, with green trees and shade inside. When you climb to a high place, the cool wind blows on your body, bringing you a touch of coolness. There are many steps in front of the Santian Gate, which is a challenge to physical fitness. The hardware facilities in the scenic area are somewhat lacking, the signs are not very clear, and there are few service staff. I look forward to strengthening them later!

Shiquan County belongs to Ankang City. It is a small county with beautiful mountains and rivers and is located along the river. Houliu Town was originally part of an ancient town, but later it developed tourism and expanded it. A pier was built along the water, making it a popular check-in spot for visiting the Little Three Gorges of the Han River.

The scenery is beautiful and the river is leisurely, it is worth a visit.

The Terracotta Warriors are a must-see at least once in your lifetime!I arrived early, right when the site opened, hoping to avoid the crowds, but it was still very busy.Pit 1 was incredible and almost haunting. Hundreds of warriors stood in rows, each with unique facial features, almost as if they were alive! I highly recommend a guided tour to learn more about their history.Pit 2 is still being excavated, giving you an idea of how the army was discovered. Pit 3 is smaller but worth visiting, especially for the restored chariot.I also visited the exhibition centre to learn more about the discoveries.The complex is enormous, with gardens, museums, shops and restaurants. Lishan Garden is included in the ticket price, and a free shuttle bus takes you back to the entrance. Electric vehicles are also available to help you get around.An unforgettable experience!

It was a pleasant experience. We arrived at around 7 and spent 1-2 hours walking around. Views are mesmerizing and it's fun looking down on busy streets at night.
