Things to do in Newport

We are not “museum people” but we enjoyed our time at Moma! A lot to see and some interesting pieces. Loved the 4th floor!

The park is named after Governor William Brenton, who owned a large farm here in the 17th century. Next to the parking lot is a large lawn where you can fly kites. The wind is strong at the seaside, so kites are easy to fly. Going up the lawn, there is a small path. At the end of the jungle, there is a rather hidden stone fort. Looking past the stone fort, you can see the remains of an old house with obvious traces of time. It feels like most of it has been covered by wild vegetation.

Of all the view points of NYC, the most unique I have to say. My daughter really liked the interactive activities available at the observation deck. You can get good view of the Mid Town and unbelievable view of the Empire State Building from the top. Ticket might be a bit pricey, but hey, it’s New York. So you have to understand. Overall I would say definitely a worth it to experience.

After finishing a long and stressful project, I booked this hotel specifically to treat myself to two days off. After a bath, I curled up on the sofa and watched an old movie, forgetting all about work; I felt completely healed, inside and out. The hotel doesn't rely on overpriced hype to create a high-end feel; every experience is solid and thoughtful, making it a top choice for a relaxing stay. Its exceptional quality and extraordinary elegance, designed specifically for healing, are hidden in every detail.

Rockefeller Center is one of those iconic New York places that’s worth seeing in person. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and walking around the surrounding area. The architecture is impressive, and there’s plenty to see nearby. If you have time, going up to Top of the Rock is a great addition for beautiful views of the Manhattan skyline and Central Park. 🏙️✨🗽
