Things to do in Mount Siguniang

A great place for a short hike, the whole route is about 20 kilometers (I think), but I didn't walk to the end. It wasn't too strenuous, the terrain was relatively flat, there were existing wooden boardwalks, and the altitude wasn't very high.

Forests, lakes, grasslands, yaks, and most importantly, snow-capped mountains! What a wonderful surprise! We encountered the first snow of November, like stepping into a fairytale world! We ate and stayed in Changpinggou, and easily explored Shuangqiaogou on our own. We'll definitely come back!

爬得比狗还要累，但绝对值回票价，前提是如果你走得到木骡子。前半段全行走在栈道上，后半段则是土石路。主要景点其实都是位在后半段上。前半段最漂亮的景点主要就是枯树滩。入口处到木骡子，边拍边走，大约花了6小时，下撤则用了3个小时。（枯树滩下撤到徒步起点约一个小时）

I booked a round-trip horseback ride to Huahaizi for 720 yuan, but on the way there, the driver at the pick-up point refused to take me! He said he didn't want to go anymore. Later I found out he went to pick up hikers coming down from Dafeng in the early morning and ripped them off! I was speechless! So here's my very honest advice for anyone going to Haizigou: 1. Don't ride a horse. If you want to ride, only go as far as Chaotianping. Don't go any further. First, you're likely to get ripped off, and second, the scenery is best at Chaotianping. Go as far as Shiban Re, and the Dahaizi area is really not worth it; it's quite ordinary. Huahaizi is just a ditch unless it's in bloom. Anyone who goes there is a huge waste of 20km of boring mountain trails. Anyone who rides a horse is a fool who gets ripped off by the horsemen. Maobiliang is a viewing point on the road along the Sichuan West Loop. From here, as long as the weather is good, you can see the whole picture of Siguniang Mountain, especially the highest peak, Simei Peak, which is the second highest peak in western Sichuan. The snow on the top of the mountain never melts all year round. The surrounding mountains are also very beautiful when viewed from the viewing point!

Sigunacuo Lake attracts visitors with its unique natural scenery and tranquil atmosphere: · Reflections of Snow-capped Mountains and Clear Lake Water: The lake's crystal-clear waters, like a mirror, clearly reflect the surrounding snow-capped mountains, dramatic rock formations, and forests. Dead Tree Beach is an open riverbed with two small and clear rivers in the middle. The dead trees on the gravel riverbed are either standing or lying down. Some are standing proudly and vigorously pointing to the sky, while others are lying down across the small river on the riverbed. The clear river water and the dead trees on the riverbed have a kind of strong and tough beauty. In the middle of the river, there is a dry forest, standing there palely. Although the trees have lost their luster, like an old man in his twilight years, they still stand stubbornly. The roots of the trees are intertwined, and the branches are varied in shape, like dragons and snakes dancing, or like an exhibition of sculptures.
