• The Alhambra has stood in Granada since the Middle Ages, with a history of over 600 years • Explore the dazzling Moorish heritage, whose intricate designs and exquisite details will transport you back in time • Ascend the western end of the tower to enjoy a panoramic view of Granada centered around the cathedral and create your own "Alhambra memories" △The Alhambra mainly consists of the Alcazaba fortress, the Nasrid Palaces, and the Generalife, among which the Court of the Lions and the Patio de la Acequia are must-see attractions. In addition, the watchtower at the western end offers a panoramic view of the city of Granada. △The palace of the nasrids is the highlight of Alhambra. The exquisite stalactite decorations on the dome and the Arabic inscriptions of the Quran on the walls vividly reflect the prosperity of the former palace. △ [Palace of Charles V] The quadrilateral palace was built after the Christian Reconquista, featuring an astonishing circular double courtyard supported by 32 columns. It displays artifacts from the Nasrid period, including large tin-glazed pottery jars (such as the 14th-century "Antelope Jar"). The upper-floor art gallery saves Spanish paintings from the 16th century onward, predominantly religious-themed works.Granada · 69.4 km from Martos

The tomb is carried by four statues of kings representing Castile, León, Aragon, and Navarre, as if guarding the discoverer of the New World △Seville Cathedral is a famous building in Seville and one of the "three great churches of the world". The site was originally the Great Mosque of Seville, later converted into a Gothic-style Catholic cathedral. The construction took a century to complete and is truly magnificent. △The main altar of the church features carvings depicting 36 scenes from the birth, passion, and death of Jesus, adorned with exquisite lavishness. Additionally, the chapels decorated with renowned religious paintings by the Seville school of artists are well worth visiting. Among them, Murillo's "The vision of St. Anthony" is not to be missed. The sacristy houses Goya's masterpiece "Saints Justa and Rufina," a truly precious work. △Giralda TowerIt is also one of the highlights of Seville Cathedral. Originally built as a mosque tower during Moorish rule, it stands 98 m tall. A gentle ramp leads to the top, offering a panoramic view of Seville.Spain · Seville

Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba

The Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba is located in the heart of Cordoba, adjacent toGuadalquivir riverside, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Spain and an important symbol of Cordoba, a city in southern Spain. The mosque covers an area of 4,000 square meters, making it truly magnificent. Three architectural styles blend in harmony The mosque was initially built around 785 AD under the order of Moorish ruler Abd al-Rahman I, with subsequent expansions over generations. After the Christian kingdom reclaimed Cordoba in 1236, it was converted into a Catholic church. Starting in the 16th century, a cruciform cathedral was constructed at the center of the mosque, layering Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque elements. A church rising from the heart of the mosque's forest of columns is an exceptionally rare sight among similar structures, setting it apart from Europe's numerous churches and mosques. Orange tree courtyard The temple is rectangular in shape. Passing through the Gate of Pardon (Puerta de Perdón) at the entrance leads to the Orange Tree Courtyard (Patio de Naranjas), where orange trees and palm trees are planted, showcasing the charm of southern Spain. The central fountain murmurs with the sound of water, surrounded by lush greenery, making it delightful to stroll through. Main worship hall The main structure of the mosque—the grand prayer hall—is exceptionally majestic, measuring 100 m in both length and width. Its dazzling corridor, composed of 850 horseshoe-shaped arches, is extraordinarily ornate, with the vibrant red-and-white striped vaults exuding an exotic Arabic charm. The pillars forming the arches stand 3 m tall, each crowned with two overlapping horseshoe-shaped volutes alternately built with red bricks and white dolomite. The semi-translucent design imbues the hall with a mystical and sacred aura, while the dense forest of stone pillars creates an immersive experience akin to walking through a columnar labyrinth. Above the mihrab in the hall lies exquisitely layered petal carvings, a space once reserved for the king's prayers. Cathedral The cathedral (Catedral) at the heart of the monastery is particularly striking, primarily composed of the chapel and choir stalls, with its altar exquisitely carved from red marble. Small church The Willaweskisa Chapel is also distinctive, with its vault and hall adorned with exquisite floral patterns, and its colorful dome is uniquely crafted. At the center of the chapel lies an ornately decorated niche. Gilded prayer niche The temple houses numerous gilded prayer niches, among which the famous new prayer niche (Mihrab Nuevo) stands out. The towering hall that houses the niche is made of white marble, carved with scriptures and verses. Ascend the bell tower to overlook the city scenery In addition, you can climb the approx. 93 m high bell tower minaret for a panoramic view of the temple and the cityscape of Cordoba.Cordoba · 73.3 km from Martos

Beautiful place, rich with history and an abundance of instagrammable shots for the social media moguls. I would advise booking tickets in advance as they sell out and make sure you include the Nasrid palace to it and immerse yourself in the history of these wonderful moorish buildings.

Lovely experience. So much history in one place. There were lots of renovations as well so be careful, but they are super good with making boundaries so you don’t step anywhere near it. Make sure you put 2 hours for this place and go up to the tower as you get to see the whole of Sevilla from different points of view

I recommend walking up to the castle and taking the bus back down, as you can get a panoramic view of Jaen. The entrance ticket was relatively cheap at 3.50€.
