The Meteora Monastery is one of the most spectacular buildings in the area and has been listed as a World Natural Heritage Site. It was built in the 14th century on a higher rocky hill in the valley at an altitude of 613 meters. The unique church is built on a high cliff, as if floating in the air, as if it makes people feel like they are in a pure land isolated from the world. The architectural pattern of the Meteora monastery reflects the status of the main monastery. There is a room where the skulls of the deceased monks are displayed, and the clothes worn by the early monks are also collected. Since the 5th century AD, monks have come to the mountains to practice. After hundreds and thousands of years of unremitting efforts, there were more than 20 monasteries in Meteora. With the hardships of the years, only six remain.
