The Lofoten Museum is located in Kabelvag and is built on the site of a well-preserved 19th-century fishing village. The museum grounds feature a collection of historical buildings, including a manor house completed in 1815, various traditional fishermen's cabins, a boathouse housing a large number of traditional Nordland wooden fishing boats, and a restored old-fashioned general store. The exhibits cover fishing tools, marine engines, historical photos, and written archives, which, combined with audiovisual programs, systematically present the evolution of fishing traditions and fishing culture in the Lofoten Island over the centuries. The stark contrast between the manor house and the fishermen's cabins vividly illustrates the differences in the lives of fishery workers across different social classes, serving as an important window for gaining an in-depth understanding of the region's history.Vagan · 1.1 km from Kabelvag

Henningsaer is actually a fjord town. To get to the town center, you need to drive from E10 to a small road and then cross two dinosaur bridges to get there. The seaside area in the town is a good place to watch the aurora. There are also small harbors, football fields and other check-in spots, which are very beautiful!
