The Jiang County Confucian Temple was first built in the Later Tang Dynasty. The Dacheng Hall is a Yuan Dynasty wooden structure, built using the reduced-column method, with robust beams, overlapping brackets, and a sturdy design. The Minglun Hall is a Qing Dynasty building, a place for ancient scholars to lecture. To the east of the Confucian Temple is the "Lion Grove," which houses dozens of stone lions from the Tang, Song, Ming, and Qing dynasties.
The Taiyin Temple on Donghua Mountain faces north and was first built in the Northern Wei Dynasty. It underwent major repairs during the Northern Zhou, Tang, Jin, and Yuan dynasties. The Jin Dynasty structure is five bays wide and three bays deep, with a single-eave gable roof. It contains the largest Jin Dynasty single-log reclining Buddha in China, Ming Dynasty murals, and a Jin Dynasty wooden chair. The statues have serene expressions and flowing, elegant drapery.
