If you haven't been able to visit the magnificent "Heart of Australia" in central Australia for a while, then if you are in Western Australia, you might as well go to watch another miracle left by nature in Australia, Wave Rock. Wave Rock is a wave-shaped monolith, which is 15 meters high and 110 meters long. It is like a huge wave that rises high and instantly solidifies in mid-air. It has stripes of reddish-brown, black and gray on its body. The bottom is particularly beautiful and well worth the long road trip from Perth of nearly 350 kilometers. Next, do you want to take a surfing position on this solid wave? It is said that the wave rock standing in the vast, dry desert was a large rock mostly buried underground 2.7 billion years ago. During the long years, water containing various chemical components penetrated into the ground and slowly eroded the bottom of the rock. change. Later, the soil around the rock was washed away, and the bottom of the eroded rock emerged from the ground. Strong desert winds scooped up the lower surface of the rock with sand and dust, leaving a crumpled top. The rain washed minerals and chemicals down the rock face, leaving colorful streaks. There is another beautiful rock near Wave Rock called Hippe'syown. It is a hollow rock shaped like a hippo's open mouth. A few kilometers to the north, there is also a group of odd-shaped rocks called Hump Rock. In the surrounding rocky area there is also Mulka's Cave, which was once inhabited by indigenous peoples. The Aboriginal handmade prints unearthed in the cave are the proud works of art in Western Australia. The name Tomberka comes from the name of an ancient aboriginal great man mentioned in the remains in the cave. Wave Rock is located near Hyden, 340 kilometers east of Perth, about a 5-hour drive from Perth, the capital of Western Australia. The Wave Rock in the Australian desert has now become a symbol in Australia, as early as 25 formed millions of years ago. The Wave Rock is literally like a swept-in wave, and the Wave Rock makes countless travelers admire the ingenious workmanship of nature. Every year, a large number of tourists come to visit Wave Rock.Hyden · 3.6 km from downtown

Caversham Wildlife Park is located in Whiteman Park on the northern outskirts of Perth, an interactive wildlife park featuring native Australian animals such as koalas, kangaroos, wombats, possums, Tasmanian devils and quokkas. Its signature experience is the open kangaroo and wallaby activity area, where visitors can walk in and interact with kangaroos face-to-face, gently stroking their backs. Hand-feeding kangaroos is also a long-standing interactive activity in the park, with specific availability subject to on-site arrangements for the day. Koalas are the stars of the park. During multiple daily meet-and-greets, koalas perch on waist- or shoulder-height branches, allowing visitors to take photos freely with their own phones. For those who wish to hold a koala for a photo, spots are limited each day and require on-site registration at the park on a first-come, first-served basis. During peak season, these spots are often snapped up early in the day, so it's best to plan ahead if you want the experience. Additionally, you can see the ever-smiling quokkas and rare Tasmanian devils without having to travel to remote islands. The wombat meet-and-greet is also worth making time for, allowing close observation of these round little creatures and photo opportunities with them. The farm show features activities like sheep shearing, cow milking and sheepdog herding, with audience members invited to feed lambs - particularly popular with family-friendly travelers. The daily scheduled little penguin feeding is quite popular too, followed immediately by pelican feeding. Lizards and snakes in the reptile house can be examined in detail through display windows. The entire park has a relaxed pace, perfect for a half-day leisurely visit.Australia · Whiteman

Whiteman Park is located in the northeastern suburbs of Perth, about 10+ km from the city center. It is a large park that combines nature conservation, family-friendly recreation, and nostalgic railway experiences, covering nearly 4,000 hectares, with the vast majority covered by native bushland. The park is located in one of the world's few biodiversity hotspots, with over 400 recorded native plant species and more than 100 bird species. Wild grey kangaroos, emus, and other animals live in the forest, and if you look up, you might even spot wedge-tailed eagles nesting in the park. It also features a dedicated conservation area that protects rare species such as the critically endangered woylie, making it a great place for birdwatching and connecting with nature near Perth. Animal lovers can focus on Caversham Wildlife Park within the park, which houses over 2,000 animals of about 200 native Australian species, where you can hand-feed kangaroos, see koalas up close, and spot wombats. The nostalgic railway is another major highlight here: the small train is pulled by steam or diesel locomotives, traveling along a narrow-gauge railway through protected Banksia woodlands, with kangaroos often appearing outside the windows. Combined with vintage trams, a tractor museum, and a transportation-themed exhibition hall, it is enough to let you see the evolution of transportation in Western Australia. The Children's Forest, planted by children themselves, hides many small sculptures that are worth searching for slowly; and with hiking trails, cycling paths, and large picnic lawns, there is enough to keep a family occupied for a whole day. The park is very large, and most museums and stations are concentrated around the central village area, while the Children's Forest and hiking trails go deep into the forest area. It is recommended to pick up a guide map after entering the park to plan your route and allow enough time. The animals in the woodlands are in their wild state, so please observe them from a distance, and leave the feeding experience for the kangaroos in the wildlife park.Australia · Whiteman

The Wave Rock, which stands in the desert in the middle of Western Australia, is a famous tourist attraction in Australia. It is 350 kilometers away from Perth, the capital of Western Australia, and 5 hours' drive away. The Wave Rock is the most unique part of the northern part of Hyden Rock. It is 15 meters high and about 110 meters long. It is undulating. The whole boulder is sideways, and the arc lines are like a row of waves sweeping in the sea, which is very spectacular. The lines on the surface of the Wave Rock are caused by the erosion of rainwater containing carbon and hydrogen, which takes away the chemical substances on the surface and produces chemical reactions at the same time, so black, gray, red, brown and khaki stripes are formed on the surface of the Wave Rock. These lines of different shades make the Wave Rock look more vivid.

This cave in the town of Hayden is where the Australian aborigines lived, and it has a history of four to five thousand years. Many primitive human bones and living relics have been found here, and the most famous of them are the rock paintings on the rocks, which describe various scenes of production, sacrifice, hunting, divination, etc., which are very vivid.

The Farm show was the highlight. Some of the exhibits feel dated but I guess it may be intentional to add to the feels. Overall was a good experience to see the wildlife of Australia.
