Things to do in Heyuan

The scenery is indeed beautiful, and the parking and internal transportation systems are quite comprehensive. However, having only explored the "Mirror Flower Garden" area, it felt a bit lacking in fun. The floating islands and the "Daughter Kingdom" attractions were somewhat uninteresting for adults. The café had a nice ambiance and the food was decent. I wanted to try paddleboarding, but it was in a different area; I had to go to another section. It would be great if we could try it in every area.

We visited a dinosaur museum in Heyuan, and since my child was interested, we went to see it. I learned quite a bit myself. The museum isn't very big; you can see everything in about an hour. It was quite crowded during the Spring Festival.

The dinosaur museum has several advantages over other venues. Not only can you see dinosaur fossils, but you can also learn about the evolutionary processes of many other insects, shellfish, and birds. With a discounted ticket price of 24, you don't need to worry about whether it's worth the price; it's simply excellent value for money.

It's definitely a place worth visiting. The environment is elegant, and each mountain is different. Although some paths are difficult, it's not tiring overall, and there are many rest stops. The only downhill path is a bit long.

Heyuan Bavaria Manor is a national-level tourist resort that blends Chinese and Western cultures. It features European-style architecture, Hakka walled villages, as well as a Black Forest amusement park, traditional Chinese medicine hot springs, and many other attractions.

The scenic area is a good size, perfect for a leisurely stroll as a family. The park is shaded by lush trees and has pleasant scenery. However, it lacks some fun activities, which the children found somewhat uninteresting. Today is the Great Heat (a solar term), but it wasn't too hot inside the park. Walking in and taking the 10-yuan electric cart out was just right.

The Heyuan Dinosaur Museum, located in the hometown of Chinese dinosaurs, is truly impressive! The Guinness World Record-certified wall displaying a massive collection of dinosaur egg fossils is breathtaking. With a variety of dinosaur eggs, the unique Huangshi Heyuanosaurus skeleton, and dinosaur footprint fossils, it offers an immersive experience of the Cretaceous period. The exhibition hall isn't large, making it family-friendly. After visiting, you can also check out the nearby Guifeng Pagoda, and the scenery along the Dongjiang River is fantastic!

Heyuan Yeyuan Hot Spring is really great because its overall facilities are recognized by consumers and the water quality is indeed good for health. Therefore, many people choose to take a hot spring bath here.
