Haukland Beach is a beach on the island of Vestvågøya in the Lofoten Islands known for its fine white sand and clear water, and many classic photographs of Lofoten have been taken here. The waves are high and the currents are strong, so extra caution is advised when swimming near the shore. Backed by rolling mountains, the beach features open slopes where you can climb to the ridge for a panoramic view of the beach and the undulating coastline. The magnificent scenery where the mountains meet the sea is impressive, making it one of the iconic spots to experience the natural beauty of the Lofoten Islands.Vestvagoy · 28.2 km from Henningsvaer

Hamnoyis a small fishing village in the Moskenes region at the western end of the Lofoten Islands, Norway. The village is concentrated on a small island connected to the main island by a road bridge, adjacent to the renowned fishing village of Reine. Surrounded by steep mountains and clear straits, the village features iconic brownish-red fishermen's cabins lined up along the rocky shoreline, which, together with the jagged mountain ridges in the distance, create a highly recognizable scene of the Lofoten Islands. The village owes its existence to the fishing season: the tradition of cod fishing and drying in the Lofoten Islands has continued for over a millennium. During the cod fishing season from winter to early spring each year, fishermen from all over Norway used to gather here. The red fishermen's cabins standing by the water were originally built as dwellings for these seasonal fishermen; some of the old cabins date back to the late 19th century, and today they still stand along the rocky shoreline, supported by stilts over the water.Moskenes · 49.8 km from Henningsvaer

The Tromso Fjords are located near the city of Tromso in Northern Norway, where rugged mountains, deep valleys, and vast bays combine to create a unique Arctic fjord view. The fjord is flanked by steep cliffs, with slopes alternately covered in greenery and snow, creating a stunning mirror effect as they reflect on the water. These waters are a habitat for wildlife such as seals and seabirds, and large marine creatures like humpback whales can occasionally be spotted. The fjord is nestled against the mountains of Tromso, and the panoramic view of mountains and sea forms the most iconic natural backdrop for this Arctic city, making it a quintessential destination for experiencing fjord scenery within the Norwegian Arctic Circle.Norway · Tromso

Tromsø Cathedral, located in the northern Norwegian city of Tromsø, is one of the northernmost Protestant cathedrals in the world and an important local landmark. It adopts the neo-Gothic wooden architectural style, with a solemn and elegant appearance, which is quite distinctive among Nordic churches. Its interior is simple and bright, with stained glass and wooden decorations that create a serene and sacred atmosphere. Kiruna Church is an iconic building in Kiruna Municipality, northern Sweden. Completed in 1912, it is known for its Neo-Gothic all-wood structure and is one of the most representative wooden churches in northern Sweden. The building blends traditional Nordic style with elements of the British Arts and Crafts movement. Constructed from deep red wood, its unique roof and tower design make it look like a fairytale building amidst the snow-covered polar landscape. In 2001, it was voted one of Sweden's most beautiful buildings. Due to ground subsidence caused by long-term mining at the Kiruna iron mine, the entire city is undergoing a historic relocation. The church itself has been moved in its entirety to a new site, a rare case of large-scale architectural preservation that adds extra historical significance to the church.Sweden · Kiruna

Haukland beach is a very primitive beach on Lofoten Island. This beach is very primitive, with large and small reefs, forming very beautiful shallows. At dusk, the golden red sunset shines on the beach, the scenery is very beautiful and absolutely desirable.

I went there in autumn. There is no polar day or polar night. The mountains and rivers are beautiful and the air is fresh. It is a good place to relax and unwind. I stayed there for a week. I would recommend everyone who is tired from work to stay in Norway for a week. I didn't live in the city center, but Tromso is so small. The city center, suburbs and airport are all about 15 minutes away by bus. Live slowly and play slowly. In the past, you could see the northern lights as long as it was sunny. Don't get too tired. It is really a good place to absorb energy. If you live by the sea, you will be in a good mood as soon as you open the window every day. Anyway, it is worth a visit.

Winter in Tromsø is really beautiful. The snowy daytime brings a bit of bleakness, with fallen trees neatly lined up on both sides of the road. There are not many pedestrians on the road, and seabirds occasionally fly by with squawks, making people feel so peaceful and comfortable. This is also another way to relax on vacation.

We took the cable car up the mountain at night, and the staff took us around and explained the scenery. Finally, we saw the aurora at midnight. It is recommended to wear warm and windproof clothes.
