Reviews: Portland: Private Island Fort Tour

It was better than I thought. The guide was very informative. I learned a lot about the island’s history. The guide made it interesting as he was explaining what happened on the island. I feel I got my money’s worth.

Reviews: Portland: Casco Bay Sunset and Lighthouse Cruise

The captain was great (there was an incoming Nor'easter and he navigated the bay with precision to keep the boat steady); the tour guide/historian was very knowledgable; very attentive and able to answer our one-off questions. Great bar and bartender. HIGHLY recommend.

Reviews: Camden, Maine: Day Sails aboard Schooner Surprise

It was a beautiful fall day to be out on the water. The day was crisp & sunny, we were offered blankets. The guides were knowledgable about sailing. It was not a historic overview of the harbor. But a beautiful day sailing.

Reviews: Portland: Casco Bay Afternoon Lighthouse Cruise
Guest User2026-10-05
The guide shared information at lighthouse stops only. Otherwise was not an information guide. Also I would inform those you do not have to be there 15 minutes early. No one was there until the boarding time so you will just stand around. we needed to use the bathroom and waited. Helly was rude asking us why we didn’t go while waiting when they ask you to be there 15minutes early with no public restrooms around and no communication from the group. So fyi don’t be early and go before you come cause nowhere near has public restroom use. A thing about Portland Maine if you haven’t visited that is VERY REAL! Why is it like that? Likely the homeless traffic for which they want to “regulate for tourists.”

Reviews: Portland: Sunset Lighthouse Cruise in Casco Bay with Drinks
Guest User2026-08-31
Beautiful boat ride. Our guide Dan was excellent, very knowledgeable and super personable. Our captain was very attentive and professional. We all enjoyed the trip very much. Saw a few (Nevermind) seals and even a fin or two from porpoise that I never knew Maine had! Highly recommend. 1.5 hours is perfect time too.
