I used this during my 3-day trip to South Korea! I had heard that 3GB per day would be enough because there's Wi-Fi in South Korea, but since it was my first time in South Korea, I was scared and opted for the 100GB per day plan. I was constantly using subway apps and such, so I ended up using about 30GB a day, and I was really relieved that I had the 100GB plan.★

That solo trip to Gangnam in Seoul, South Korea, was initially just a brief escape from the daily grind, but it unexpectedly became a journey that allowed me to rediscover myself. My first impression of Gangnam was one of neatness, style, and a touch of aloofness. Skyscrapers stood tall, streets were clean, and unlike the bustling, crowded cities I'd imagined, it possessed a refined and orderly quality.
Upon arriving on my first day, dragging my luggage out of the subway station, I was greeted by cool air and slightly unfamiliar streetscapes. Without a companion, I was initially a little uneasy, but this also made me more attentive to my surroundings. People walked quickly, and cafes seemed to be every few steps, each with its own unique style. I randomly walked into a cafe, ordered a latte, and sat by the window, watching people come and go. At that moment, I felt a rare sense of peace.
What impressed me most about Gangnam was its perfect blend of commerce and culture. Places like the Starry Sky Library in the COEX mall, with its towering bookshelves, were breathtaking; even just standing there, you couldn't help but slow your pace. The surrounding shopping malls and designer boutiques showcased South Korea's keen sensitivity to fashion and aesthetics. Even without specifically shopping, simply strolling through the streets is a pleasure in itself.
The biggest difference of traveling alone is that time is entirely your own. I can freely change my itinerary, rest when I'm tired, and stop to explore interesting little shops. One evening, I wandered aimlessly along the streets; the neon lights illuminated the area, giving the entire Jiangnan region a different atmosphere. Gone was the rationality and distance of the daytime; instead, there was a warmth and a sense of life.
Of course, there were also moments of loneliness. Especially when eating, seeing most people around me in groups inevitably created a sense of disparity. But gradually, I began to enjoy this solitude, focusing on the taste of the food, the details of the environment, and my own feelings.
This trip to Jiangnan was less about getting to know a city and more about learning how to be with myself. Traveling alone doesn't mean loneliness, but rather a more honest way of facing oneself. When the journey ends and I return to daily life, those streets I walked alone in a foreign land and those moments of quiet become the longest-lasting memories.★
